Taking On The Magical World
Chapter 95 - 93: Remains
I stopped harassing Hagrid with my fake tears and the sad act, you know all the good stuff and what not. The guy looked rather sullen, and it seemed like no small amount of explaining himself, helped banish the depressing feelings he was coming into grips to.
He looked like he just killed off some cute, adorable, magical creature. At that sight, I did feel a twinge of downheartedness for taking things a bit to far. I am surprised that the water works did not start yet, since this kind of did make me recall an incident that happened a while back.
I do remember one time he brought in a fire salamander. I have no clue where he found it at all, since if that thing was running around in the Forbidden Forest. Ha, we would already had a forest fire on our hands. The creature was clearly magical in nature since it was literally o fire.
But whatever, I am not some omnipotent god that knows everything, and I do not want to be some noisy little brat that likes to hear about everything and anything.
Now back to the story, Hagrid found this fiery little salamander and took it in. For a time there, I swear, I saw Fang getting jealous of the little thing. Hagrid was showing a lot more affection then he usually does, to the great number of magical creatures and regular animals, that he runs into on a regular basis.
well, the man did say, it kind of filled a dream he always had, to have a dragon.
Regardless, I sort of did feel bad for Fang, at that moment, in which Hagrid was paying more and more attention to the new pet. But now that I relived it, Ha! I should have been laughing in the danm dog's face, rub it in and what not. The beast nearly mauled to death and also scarred me for life. All just so that it could get into the habit of acting tough and macho for a lady wolf.
F.u.c.k that! When you get rejected, you stupid dog, I thought evilly, I will make sure never to let it down. I will make sure to remind you of it, every day of every moment.
Let me tell you something interesting about myself. I am not one to never, ever, let go of something, period. I will remember the offense for as long as I live, and when your defense is down... Hehee. There I will be to take advantage of it, and put you under while you are in the dirts.
Now I willing to not bring this incident to light towards Hagrid, since it would be shameful if I admit that the dog scared me a bit. But do not mistake it for me forgetting or forgiving the dog. I am waiting for the perfect time.
Now, I am getting off topic again. Back to the story...
Well to make things short and simple, and to get to the gist of the whole little story. Hagrid stepped on the poor creature, and it died. Yep, it just died like that, with a simple accidental stomp. But to the creature, it must have been a soul crushing stomp of a titan!
I still crack up, when ever I remember that incident. I know it is cruel and a bit sick to do so, but the irony and cruelty of nature, never ceases to amaze me.
Anyways that incident really puts into perspective just how dreadfully strong Hagrid is. He killed that poor creature the size of half my arm with just an accidental stomp, what can he do when he really means to bring forth the PAIN.
No wonder wizards fear Giants, those creatures are just so f.u.c.k.i.n.g strong, add in their magical resistance and you have these mother f.u.c.kers who could really demolish shit. Good thing they are too busy fighting and killing each other.
All in all, Hagrid nearly had that same expression that he had on that day, when he accidentally killed the fire salamander. That is how I know that I might have taken things a bit too far.
So to clear up the air, I just moved on with the conversation, but first I made it look realistic. Like I wanted all of this to be forgiven and forgotten, or Hagrid might catch on, that I was faking it all.
Hagrid awoke from his musing and thoughts. He looked at me in shock and wonder, just short of gaping at me. The half giant must be wondering how on earth am I willing to just forgiven and forgotten, plus move on from the accusation that he made against me.
But what he does not know is that I just made things look like that. Piece of advice, never take what ever your kids says or tells you at face value. They can lie & they do lie.
Hagrid answered back with a simple nod at my question then got off from his chair and went hunting around his hut.
After a short while, he came back with three new boxes. I was near to jumping in joy and excitement when I saw the three boxes he brought in. Already I was fantasizing the type of new potion I can make out of these new, interesting, and fascinating ingredients.
Although I will not be able to ink out every single use of these ingredients since my mastery of potion making is still very low, when you compare it to the likes of great masters similar to Slughorn and Snape. Nevertheless, I still can make a very rare potion from this raven feather. And I already have a great idea of one potion recipe that caught my eyes back in my mother's little library.
I took in a deep breath to calm my accelerating heart, that was nearly jumping in joy. Hagrid placed the boxes down on the table, then he opened the lid of the three of them.
