After leaving Glory City and travelled for 30 minutes, I found a cave. Its size is pretty big and there is river beside the cave. What good luck!

I inspect the cave and found out that there are Demon Beasts of Silver Ranks and Gold Ranks, the demon beasts inside the cave are 7 Snow Wolves and 18 snow wolf cubs. Among the 7 Snow wolves, there is one with strong aura which probably is their alpha and from the aura it is emitting, it is not inferior to the three elders that spy me the day before, so I conclude that it is 2-star Black Gold Rank at most. I then learn the information about the snow wolf from the Great Sage, and found out the best way to deal with them.

Half an hour later, the 7 Snow Wolves come out from the cave and started to sniff around. As they sniff longer, they then look at each other and start biting each other. The Alpha looks at its tribe with confusion, and then it realizes something is wrong, but it is too late as all of the wolves are gathered in my giant array, which I named " Flare Cage of Misconception". Needless to say, the strength of the array is of the peak Black Gold Rank. After 5 minutes, the Gold Ranked wolves are dead either because badly injured with frozen wounds or bleeding wounds. The Alpha is still standing, even though it's body is full of hole and frozen wounds because it is bitten by its own kin, and it fall into despair when it saw its kin is all dead because of itself and started to mourn. I sneak behind it's back and stabbed it with my sword which has been inscribed with venomous venom insription, and resulted in it's instant death. After I make sure that the alpha is dead, I salvage them for the material, blood, demon spirits, and bone. I then proceed to the cave and slaughtered all of the sleeping cubs. I then salvage the corpses of the cubs and dispose of its unneeded material.

After cleaning the cave's inside, I go outside and use the Demon Beast blood and laid down inscription arrays around the cave to prevent demon beasts from coming to this place and disturb me while I am cultivating, and also prevents uninvited guests to enter this cave. There are 3 layers of arrays laid down surrounding the cave. The outer array which is 20 feet to 40 feet away from the cave is the Misleading Fog Array, which activates when someone step on the inscription pattern, it will trigger the fog to rise and make someone lose the sense of direction. The mid array which is 10 feet to 20 feet away from the cave is the Real Mirage Array, which produces image of a Legend Ranked Demon Beast and chases the intruder away. The inner part is a merciless array which is 5 feet to 10 feet away from the cave. It is called Torment array which is basically traps lumped together making vicious combo, not to mention each trap is capable of killing Black Gold Rank demon beast and a Legend Rank Demon Beast cannot leave unscatched. I then proceed inside the cave and started to cultivate. After 3 hours, I finally broken through to Gold Rank. 'Reaching new rank means the soul energy I need to cultivate greatly increases' is what I thought as a sudden inspiration form in my head. I then use the Demon Beast blood to draw a special inscriptions on the ceiling and floor which is used to collect and condense soul energy inside the cave then condense it. After finishing the inscriptions, I feel that the both the quality and quantity of the soul energy rises steadily and the soul energy become purer and easy to absorb. I named the cave 'Soul Cave' and continue cultivating in order to increase my cultivation.

As I want to go and cultivate, I could feel my head become heavy and throb everytime I wanted to cultivate. I then asked the Great Sage what is wrong with my body when Great Sage gives a warning.

Hmm.. I get 2 additional extra skills and.. What!! No wonder I feel like my stamina is depleting easily! Now I should focus on increasing my physical strength before cultivating again.

I take off my cloth, gauntlet and shoe and inscribe gravity altering array, which I set to start at 2 times heavier and increases by 0,5 point every half an hour till the maximum of 10 times heavier. After finishing the inscription, I wear everything and activate the inscription. After the inscription pattern emit a dazzling light, I feel my body become 10 times heavier and I fall on the ground because of the weight. I tried to muster my strength and stand up and started to walk normally.

When I walk, I control my breath and start to refine my physical strength and get used to this new weight. After walking around for 15 minute, I started doing martial artist movement like punching and kicking. At first, I struggled to lift my hand and punch straight or lift my leg and do a high kick, but after struggling for 10 minute, I finally can punch straight and do a high kick. Five minutes later, the inscription pattern glowed and my body become heavier again, and I repeated the menu above for two hours and I stopped training. I can feel my physical strength rise although I am very tired right now. I rested for an hour before continuing until it is dark and I start to do my activity with 100 times my weight. At night, even when I sleep, I don't take off any of my equipment.
