Targaryen Who Turned Dragon

Chapter 130 - The Beginning

"You're acting as Justice is quite splendid, if I do say so myself. It would be hard to match the tyrannical and ruthless Realm King of the Darkya Realm with the Snow Song Realm King's direct disciple, Aerion Targaryen."

That is the intention, Rotias. Justice and I cannot have any visible connections... so I must act differently and use separate abilities. I must ensure that I can make use of most of my battle power as Justice so that will mean restricting myself in the Profound God Convention which I don't mind.

The Dragon Phases, White Tiger's Lightning, Sharingan, Heaven Smiting Sword and Ghost Flame would be my weapons of choice while acting as Justice. The Snow Song Realm and Flame God Realm... I cannot use the Ice Phoenix, Golden Crow or Phoenix bloodlines as that would result in clear connections.

Rotias, do you know of this Sky Piercing Realm?

"You're asking me about an irrelevant Middle-Rank Star Realm... but I can dig up some dirt if you really want me to."

Hmm?

"Why do you think this Sky Piercing Realm was interested in the Black Feather Merchant Guild? Its 'usual' goods could be found in most other places... even locally. So why would they go so far as to send their young master and a Divine King?"

Could they have been interested in the underground trade? That would be one of the more logical reasons...

"Yes, precisely. There aren't many places where you can purchase wood spirit orbs... I can look further into it but doing so would take me some time."

Heh, I see... so this Sky Piercing Realm isn't exactly righteous either. The people of the Darkya Realm see me as a tyrant for taking what is mine... hmph, common folk have no understanding of how things work.

"A Dragon should not concern himself with the opinions of sheep," Rotias added. "If you let the opinions of lesser mortals get to you, your ambitions will never be completed and the Primal Chaos Dimension will forever remain the same. A torn land separated into north and south, devils and gods in a constant, never-ending, war against each other. Only someone who bears the power of light and darkness can unite this torn land back into one... that someone can only be you, Aerion Targaryen!"

Aerion smiled.

Only me, huh...

"Ancestral Gods are neither God or Devil... we are composed of both. That is why when Celia sacrificed herself, she was separated into eight fragments. Four being God and the other four being Devil. Technically, your companion, Robb is also capable of uniting Primal Chaos... but you and I know who the people would prefer and who would be better suited for the role. He has grown into a capable vassal and at most, he will become your greatest weapon... but you were meant to be the King from the very start."

Right, but the people of the Darkya Realm do have a point. I've been stealing from my own subjects to further myself... that will end today as it is no longer necessary, my authority over the Darkya Realm is supreme and unquestionable. It was a large sacrifice but the people will come to understand the means when the ends are revealed. Now that the Divine Justice Sect is stronger than ever, the Darkya Realm will be able to expand further and the people will prosper beyond what they ever thought was possible. Everything that was taken will be returned soon enough.

"Indeed, peasants are so short-sighted. They simply cannot see the bigger picture... the more centralised the power, the stronger the star realm. The rest of the Darkya Realm will rise as the Divine Justice Sect rises, it's only a matter of time before they appreciate your efforts."

For now, I'll let things settle down before the Profound God Convention. I, alone, will approach the Sky Piercing Realm. After I'm done raiding the place, I'll focus on my own cultivation strength. When the Profound God Convention comes to a close... that will be when the Darkya Realm will truly start to expand itself.

~

Aerion coughed up some blood after a training session and it made him feel uneasy.

It has only been five days since that curse of death but the state of my body has been getting worse by the day. If it weren't for my regenerative abilities and Dragon Body, then I might already be a dead man. A month seems like an exaggeration... I might not even last fifteen days!

Aerion sighed.

I have to breakthrough soon or it'll all be over... I won't see either of my sons or daughters again. My wives won't even know what happened. The Seven Kingdoms... the Iron Throne specifically would have no designated heir, I would have completely failed my ancestors if that were the case!

Aerion wiped away the blood and turned the pain into a source of determination.

I won't allow this curse to be the death of me no matter what it is that I have to do to prevent it!

He found Lei Qianfeng and took everything his profound veins had to offer. He was still a Divine King, albeit a slightly weaker version of himself. The energy he had stripped away would take a week or so to be fully refined and added to his own Calamity Dragon Veins. Aerion spent this week in closed-door cultivation and once he left, the Divine Spirit Realm was a single decision away. All he had to do was force his way into the Divine Spirit Realm...

I'm ready now.

Aerion was mentally prepared but his physical state was a different story. His face was visibly pale and the youthful charm from before seemed to have vanished completely. He looked rather frail and even his walk lost some of its royal presence. The aura around him was less tyrannical and cold, it was clearly weaker than before. A weak Realm King would be frowned upon so Aerion avoided showing himself to the Divine Justice Sect.

He used the Moon Splitting Cascade to hide and reach the young master of the Sky Piercing Realm in his current chambers. Aerion was kind by giving the young master a nice house to live inside of. It was under the protection of a Divine Spirit Realm cultivator every hour of the day, though.

"You... what do you think of my... *cough*... offer?"

"Is that really you, Justice? I never thought that you would one day look so frail... what happened?"

"That is... none of your concern. You should give me an answer before I end you."

"I won't accept it as long as my father lives. Why would I abandon my heritage, a Middle-Rank Star Realm, to join your sect anyway?"

"Hmph, do not act all innocent in front of me. I know... everything. You told me all about yourself about a week ago, but you do not remember that, do you?"

"I... it's coming back to me, I did tell you all about the relationship between the Sky Piercing Realm and Black Feather Merchant Guild..."

"You remembered because I wanted you to. Now you will die and your talents will be given to... *cough*... someone more suitable!"

Heaven Absorbing Silver Claw.

"No..."

"Yes." Aerion concealed himself and vanished like a ghost. Then he silently visited Izanami while she was meditating.

A slight push in strength, my dearest.

Aerion gave her the young master's cultivation strength and left the Divine Justice Sect for his last conquest before letting things cool off for the Profound God Convention.

Izanagi.

World Teleportation Portal, send me to the Sky Piercing Sect of the Sky Piercing Realm!

So this is it.

Aerion looked at the Sky Piercing Sect from above. It was mind-numbingly large with millions of members, even the newly forged Divine Justice Sect lacked greatly in comparison. But the Divine Justice Sect was only getting started while the Sky Piercing Sect will always remain a stagnant Middle-Rank Star Realm sect unless they happen upon some heaven-defying genius, of course.

He flew a couple hundred thousand kilometres away before starting the process. He didn't want any unnecessary casualties.

Divine Heavenly Tribulation Lightning... your day has come to face this King and realise your inferiority!

BANG.

"So the day has come, at last... you can finally break all your chains and release my fury upon the world!"

This voice...

Aerion smiled.

Fifth gate... Dragon Emperor.

Instinctively, Aerion broke open the mighty fifth gate. It was something he wouldn't even dare to do before but now, under the influence of the fire, he wasn't afraid in the slightest of the consequences.

Flames burst from within, burning away his black robes and the rest of his attire. The aura of fire around him seemed to form a dragon as it grew in size. It was a frightening dragon made entirely of Ghost Flames... suddenly, the white flames turned blood-red as a roar broke out, a roar which shook the entire Sky Piercing Realm.

It was as if something truly ancient had awakened for the first time in many years and wished to remind the entire Primal Chaos Dimension of its existence.
