Targaryen Who Turned Dragon

I will have access to the Brahma Monarch God Realm's profound arts through the Brahma Monarch Goddess so there's no point in me asking for that. I have no interest in the Moon God Realm and the Eternal Heaven Realm either, which leaves only one king realm. The Star God Realm, of course!

The Star God's Broken Shadow... hmm, there isn't much point in asking for that except for the Star God Realm's acknowledgement. I should ask for something that will help further my battle strength instead.

"You should ask for the Star God's Brilliant Annihilating Slash, it comes from the Heavenly Slaughter Star God, which would lead you directly to Jasmine and add another deadly weapon to your arsenal."

Is it not limited to the Heavenly Slaughter Star God?

"Not at all, she can teach it to you, much like the Star God's Broken Shadow," Rotias replied.

Very well.

"I'd like to learn the Star God's Brilliant Annihilating Slash from the Star God Realm. I have taken great interest in this frightening profound skill ever since I've heard the rumours of its formidable strength. Nevermind learning it, simply seeing it in action would be an experience of a lifetime." Aerion announced. "This King would be fortunate to be taught such a profound skill... if the Star God Emperor is willing, of course."

"I see. A very interesting choice, indeed." The Eternal Heaven God Emperor nodded. "The Star God's Brilliant Annihilating Slash is a divine technique from the Star God Realm which does not require any particular bloodline and so, it can be taught to others. Star God Emperor, what do you think of this?"

The Star God Emperor did not hesitate at all. "It would be a great honour to impart the Star God's Brilliant Annihilating Slash onto the Eastern Divine Region's very own heavenly genius. Since only a month remains before the heaven chosen children are set to leave for the Eternal Heaven Divine Realm, how about you follow this king back to the Star God Realm and I'll order the Heavenly Slaughter Star God to impart onto you the Star God's Brilliant Annihilating Slash. Then, after the month passes, I will dispatch people to deliver you back to the Eternal Heaven Realm."

"I suppose a month will be more than enough, however, I'd like to say something first. This King will not be leaving for the Eternal Heaven Divine Realm to cultivate for three thousand years." Aerion smiled. "I find it rather... unnecessary."

This simple statement was just as shocking as everything that happened the previous day!

"Unnecessary!?"

Cang Shitian laughed. "Good, very good... the Eternal Heaven Pearl's power is truly unnecessary to your heavenly genius."

The Eternal Heaven God Emperor frowned. "What do you mean by that, Aerion Targaryen?"

It was not just the Eternal Heaven God Emperor, the other three God Emperors of the Eastern Divine Region seemed to greatly disagree with his words. The Dragon Monarch was also much of the same.

"I will not repeat the same words. This King does not need three thousand years, hmph, three will do just fine. I've already decided and nothing can change my mind. Besides, Robb will still be going, therefore it isn't necessary for me anymore."

The Brahma Heaven God Emperor remained calm, shockingly enough. "Good, this is wonderful. This opportunity will leave quite some time for you to attune yourself to the Brahma Monarch God Realm. We will simply have to be slightly more patient than before."

The Eternal Heaven God Emperor smiled. "Perhaps, this is a blessing in disguise. If you are willing, Aerion Targaryen, I will be able to replace you in the Eternal Heaven Divine Realm and personally instruct Robb for three thousand years!"

Oh? That sounds interesting.

"My Lord... that would mean becoming his direct disciple, right?"

Aerion chuckled as he glanced at Robb. "Of course, it would. Would you be willing?"

"It would be a great opportunity, of course, but would you be fine with that?"

"No matter whose disciple you become, no matter which Star Realm you join, no matter what happens... in the end, the result will, mostly, remain the same. Do you understand what I mean by that?"

You will always be on my side in the end.

"I understand completely." Robb sincerely bowed. "I will accept your offer, Eternal Heaven God Emperor."

"Good, this is wonderful news."

Aerion smiled. "Now that the matter is settled, may we leave for the Star God Realm, Star God Emperor?"

"... Very well, we may. This king will make preparations, you should rest, for now, I'll dispatch some people to deliver you later."

"I'll be patiently waiting, then."

Aerion walked off the Conferred God Stage and towards the Snow Song Realm's palace. On the way, an interesting thought did cross his mind.

Robb could easily replace the Eternal Heaven God Emperor after three thousand years. During those three years, the Eternal Heaven Realm will be left undefended by a God Emperor as well which would make it slightly more vulnerable.

Aerion smirked.

This plan is wonderful, indeed. Once I gather enough strength, I'll need to take one of the king realms. The Moon and Star God Realms are both weaker than the rest, perhaps I could become the God Emperor of one of them and then conquer the other one. After that, the Eternal Heaven Realm would be next. Would the Brahma Monarch God Realm side with me in my conquest or become my greatest enemy?

Of course, I'd rather have them as my greatest ally. I might have to take out Qianye Fantian before he has the time to do something unsettling. If I play my cards right, the Brahma Monarch Goddess would side with me as the new God Emperor and unite the Brahma Monarch God Realm's mighty forces with my own against the other king realms.

Aerion opened the doors to his room and fell into his bed.

I haven't been able to go past the Ninth Floor of the Dungeon for quite some time now. It doesn't matter much since I have the Seventh Heaven Realm which is almost perfect, apart from the fact that there are no enemies to face.

"You fool." A cold voice sounded, almost freezing the entire room still.

Aerion opened his eyes and saw the figure of the beautiful Brahma Monarch Goddess. "An unexpected visit, but it's always a pleasant one when it comes to you."

"Hmph, the Eternal Heaven Divine Realm is unnecessary, you say?"

"I did say that, yes, do you have an issue with it?"

"If you weren't the widely revered heavenly genius, my royal father would have forgotten about his gracious offer and acted as if it had never happened."

"Really?" Aerion chuckled. "He would have come to regret that decision. Anyway, didn't he offer me your hand because I was the heavenly genius in the first place? He wouldn't take back his words so easily."

"Hmph, you have still made matters far more difficult than they should be. After three thousand years in the Eternal Heaven Divine Realm, you were meant to emerge as an existence equal to a God Emperor... at the very least. Perhaps, even the Dragon Monarch. But now, what can you possibly accomplish in just three years?"

"You greatly underestimate my capacity to grow, my dear wife-to-be." Aerion smiled. "In three years, I will surpass every single profound practitioner in Primal Chaos, even the Dragon Monarch. This is a promise to you."

"An empty promise you won't be able to keep, I don't need it."

"You're too cold, Ying'er, the truth of the matter is that I'll be able to spend some time with you instead of solely cultivating for three thousand years. You should consider this to be a good thing... actually, I was thinking of going to the God Realm of Absolute Beginning to gain some experience. I hear you go there often so would you be willing to accompany me?"

"The God Realm of Absolute Beginning? Someone of your strength should not go anywhere near that place... unless you make use of your eyes."

Aerion nodded. "I would never risk my life needlessly. With you by my side, my little expedition would become far more profitable than without. After all, my limit is the middle stages of the Divine Master Realm while you're a peak Divine Master."

"The middle stages of the Divine Master Realm... very well, I will assist you once you're done with your business in the Star God Realm. Hmm, why did you choose the Star God Realm in the first place?"

"I d.e.s.i.r.ed a useful profound skill, that is all."

"I believe there is something you're not telling me, but I'll leave you for now."

She turned invisible and left his room.

I wonder, what will Jasmine's reaction be to my future marriage with the Goddess?

"It won't be good, I'll tell you that much." Rotias chuckled. "But you might be able to slither your way out of the difficult situation without dying. The Heavenly Slaughter Star God's name is not just for show."

Aerion started to worry.

She wouldn't kill me, of all people... right?

"You better hope that's the case."

Someone knocked on his door, unlike a certain Brahma Monarch Goddess.

"Who is it?" Aerion inquired.

"The person who kicked you down to the Losers Group... hahaha."

"You, of all people, don't need to knock on my door, Izanami."

"It's called good manners, idiot." Izanami opened the door and gave him six identical Time Wheel Pearls. "You need them more than I do."

Aerion smiled. "Thanks, Izanami... I'll use them well."

"You better, hmph."

Then she took out two more. "These are from Robb as well."

Aerion added them to his collection. Seven of his own, six from Izanami and two from Robb. This added up to fifteen months of cultivation in just thirty hours! All of the resources and time he had given to both of them was easily repaid with this simple gift. No, in truth, he had profited massively! These Time Wheel Pearls were all priceless treasures in the God Realm.

"I... am fortunate to have you two."

"You'll be leaving for the Star God Realm soon and probably spend most of the month there. The next time we'll see each other will be after three years..."

"I'll see you off in the Eternal Heaven Divine Realm but yes, this will technically be the last time you'll be able to spend time with me."

"Then I had better not waste this opportunity." Izanami smiled. "For this moment, you are mine and mine alone."

Aerion chuckled. "Alright, as you wish."

Some cough, dual-cultivation later, Izanami left his room and he waited for the Star God Emperor's people to arrive. He felt slightly nervous as Rotias filled him with stories of how frightening the Heavenly Slaughter Star God was and how much she hated the Brahma Monarch Goddess. During that time, his opinion of the Brahma Monarch Goddess certainly did decrease but he wasn't going to change his plans just because of that.

Rotias... people can change, you should know that best of all.

"You speak the truth, little dragon... you'll be able to handle the situation if you choose your words wisely.

Suddenly, a voice rang from the outer courtyard.

"Star Guard, under Star God Realm's Heavenly Slaughter Star God, requests to meet Sir Aerion Targaryen."

Sir? It's ser, you uncivilized Star Guard... wait, under the Heavenly Slaughter Star God?

Aerion got up and composed himself before leaving his room.
