Targaryen Who Turned Dragon

Chapter 179 - Uniting Two Worlds

'Finally...'

After almost four months, Aerion's eyesight returned. He did not gain a new ability which was unfortunate yet a blessing at the same time. The birth of a new God would mean a longer resting period, after all. During this time, he had found out more about Little Rhae's true identity through Jie Yuan. It was a rather shocking revelation... never did he think that the little girl he found in the Primordial Profound Ark would actually be her and the Heretic God's daughter.

This made him think of how the daughter was split into two and the darkness seed in the Azure Cloud Continent. Little Rhae's reaction to the girl who laid in the abyss was also starting to make more sense. He decided to reunite them when Jie Yuan was ready to leave the Seventh Heaven Realm.

Izanami looked at him. "So you've recovered, my King."

Aerion nodded. "Indeed, I have. I was thinking of a suitable punishment during these few months but nothing came to mind... I could not hurt my wife, after all."

"I do have a suggestion." Izanami smiled. "Why don't you... ravage me."

"I see..." Aerion chuckled. "You wanted this from the very start, hmm?"

With a single wave of the hand, Aerion created a formation.

"Perhaps... mn."

"Next time you will follow my orders, Izanami..."

After a few extra days in the Seventh Heaven Realm, Aerion returned to Primal Chaos. He had broken through to the Divine Master Realm which made travel all the more convenient. Therefore, it did not take him long to return to the Star God Realm. He decided not to use the teleportation formations and instead, view the myriad of star realms in his path.

Upon returning to the Star God Realm with Izanami, he, naturally, wished to know all of the events which had occurred in his absence. The Heavenly Fire Demon did so with great accuracy, not missing a single point of importance.

"Your firstborn is truly extraordinary, My Lord." He stated. "It seems that the coin flip landed on greatness. I believe that there is an extremely high chance that he will be your successor and the second Dragon Emperor of Primal Chaos with time."

"Hmph, I do not believe in that coin flip nonsense. However, Aurion is, indeed, a heavenly genius worthy of praise. I am quite fortunate to have such a brilliant son."

"His talents come from his Royal Father, after all."

"That's not entirely true... his talents in the Wind Laws are greater than my own. Along with that, Aurion has inherited the Tai's unique ability to suddenly breakthrough under great pressure. He has his mother to thank for that."

"I suppose so." The Heavenly Fire Demon nodded. "Now that everything in the Primal Chaos Dimension is yours, what is there left to conquer? Will you settle down, at last, My Lord?"

Aerion sighed. "The path ahead is unclear... I wish to reclaim the Fire Dragon God's throne in the Ancestral Land which, to my knowledge, is currently lifeless. Dae Chun, what is the point of ruling an empty land with no people?"

"It is pointless."

"Indeed. In truth, I have only two remaining ambitions; to reach the Ancestral God Realm and slay the Transcendent Being. Both of which will take me thousands of years to complete... if not millions. For now, however, there is something urgent I have to do and that is to move Planetos into Primal Chaos. It will be a massive and difficult change... but it is one I have to complete, once and for all."

"I see. So House Targaryen will finally be united as one in the same World..."

Aerion nodded. "Primal Chaos should be prepared first... I'll be leaving that duty to you, my faithful servant."

"Your great trust in me is quite heart-warming, My Lord. About the Devil Queen... have you come to a decision? It would be best to settle this matter swiftly."

"Hmm, her last four husbands didn't live for long... but such an alliance is for the greater good of Primal Chaos."

'Soul stealing... it's quite the frightening technique but I doubt that it would do anything against an Ancestral God's soul.'

"Pfft, she would encounter a major backlash by just trying," Rotias stated.

"Indeed, My Lord, you needn't worry about the Devil Queen's past as none of her previous husbands are even comparable to you in the slightest." The Heavenly Fire Demon stated. "Along with that, her beauty will certainly be to your liking."

"I'll deal with the matters of marriage once my thirtieth name-day passes. Until then, we will merely be engaged." Aerion replied.

"Understood, My Lord."

Shortly after, Aerion used the World Teleportation Portal to return to Planetos.

He landed on the (Not Free) City of Pentos. The moment he did so, everyone's eyes swiftly turned to him and ignored everything else. It was rather amusing that fifteen years ago not a single one of them would give him more than a few glances and now they gazed upon him as if he were something akin to a God.

"His Grace has come to visit!?"

"Welcome to the City of Pentos, Your Grace... if there's anything you need, please do tell." A noble whom Aerion recognised stated.

"I am merely sightseeing," Aerion replied. "Go along with your daily lives, my people of Pentos."

Aerion walked past the crowd and towards the port. The vessels which floated in the port ahead of him were mostly large merchant galleys made for trading cargo. He sat down on the very edge of the wooden bridge and watched the waves as they rose and withered away. He had always found comfort in nature itself from the very beginning... it was something that could ease his mind from reality.

'We, the last remaining Targaryens, should stand together if we truly want to return home. How do we expect to come back home, if we can't stand together...'

'Don't worry, when I return we will no longer have to beg ... everyone will be begging to us. This, I promise...'

Aerion chuckled as he thought of his life as an exile. 'Viserys, Myself, Daenerys, Aurion, Naerys, Daeron and Rhaenyra. There are seven Targaryens in the world now... all of whom live the lives of royalty.'

Aerion decided not to linger in Pentos for much longer, flying to Bloodstone and his little hill. The tree stood till this day. In truth, it was even taller and greater than before. Now, this was a place where he could rest without much worry. The Port of Bloodstone along with the Castle was much further ahead, after all. There wasn't much reason for anyone to walk here as it was an empty land.

Aerion's body started to give in to the comfort of his surroundings as his eyes slowly lost focus and began to close.

"So this is the Celestial Dragon Emperor's favourite resting place. Aerios preferred the sky and mountains... I suppose you two aren't the same, after all."

Aerion's eyes regain focused as he scanned his surroundings, immediately finding the Old Man. "You know about Aerios' habits? That is quite strange... and so is the timing of your return."

"I merely came here to grant you something that will come in use much later, a hundred years or so... to be exact." He smiled. "When you become a Creation God."

He opened his right palm as a blinding silver light emerged, slowly vanishing and displaying an extraordinary key. Aerion observed it...

'The Key to the Divine Palace...'

"Truly, who in Seven Hells are you?"

"Isn't that becoming clear, my dear Dragon Emperor?" He chuckled. "Only I can provide such a key... hmm, I believe you said something about slaying me earlier? Such ambition, such hatred... but you lack the strength. In this World, all that matters is strength. With strength, you can attain anything... in truth, everything will come to you almost naturally. Women, money, lands, respect, authority... it becomes effortless once you gain absolute strength. You stand at the very peak of Primal Chaos now, however..."

"I have transcended past that, Aerion Targaryen. If I d.e.s.i.r.e anything... I simply create it or warp reality to suit my needs."

"So you were the Transcendent Being all along..." Aerion stood up.

"Hmm, this is one of my favourite vessels, yes. It has brought me close to you without much hassle. About Izanami... I suppose you could say that I am her father, one way or another. After all, I was the one to create her."

"..."

Aerion felt conflicted but his hand instinctively moved to Blackfyre's handle.

"Aerion... don't do that," Rotias suggested. "It's not that time yet."

"Oh, don't draw Blackfyre against me quite yet. It's too soon for that... unless you wish to be humbled, that is." Once he saw Aerion move his hand away from Blackfyre, the Transcendent Being smiled. "I will be granting you my final set of blessings today. Firstly, there is an invisible barrier of ice surrounding Planetos... it absorbs all profound energy in the air and destroys it after some time. You can reject it but I'll kindly do it for you... and with a simple blink, it is no more."

"And now... we're in the Primal Chaos Dimension! I may have destroyed a few continents, hahaha... but they do not matter in the grand scheme of things."

"Such dense profound energy..." Aerion remarked.

"I don't like to leave things half-baked." He threw the Key to the Divine Palace into Aerion and slowly started to vanish into a trail of silver light. "I will be waiting for your arrival, Aerion Targaryen. Be sure to bring along the other Ancestral God inheritors or you might not come out alive..."

After he completely vanished, Aerion's thoughts were a mess but he decided to move on from that.

'The Two Worlds have finally united... a bit sooner than I wished. Never the less, it is time that I return to the Iron Throne and reform the Empire of New Valyria!'
