Targaryen Who Turned Dragon

"Jun Long."

Aerion turned around and saw Ling Yun. He didn't expect to personally meet him today.

"Ling Yun?"

"Yes, I would like to thank you for making the Sky Profound sword."

Aerion grinned. "Is it any good?"

Ling Yun nodded "It's excellent, heavenly even. The sword you made is at the very peak of the Sky Profound Realm... it even has the potential of keeping up with an Emperor Profound blade! But... why go through the effort? We might meet in the finals and..."

"I wanted to fix my mistake... I let my anger overtake me and I destroyed the Sky Profound swords when I could've easily won without doing so. I could never live with myself if I didn't give something back that is equal in value."

"I understand, you truly are a virtuous man. You have gained my respect... if there's anything you need, tell me and I'll do my best to assist you."

Having the Heavenly Sword Villa as an ally doesn't sound too bad. Anyway, I will be the judge of this new sword. If it is worthy then I shall retrieve it... if not, then the Sword Villa can keep it. It seems like a fair deal to me.

Aerion changed two mid-grade Sky Profound swords into a peak Sky Profound sword, this was definitely a win for the Heavenly Sword Villa... IF the sword stays with them past the Blue Wind Ranking Tournament.

Aerion sat down on one of the chairs so that he could witness the second and last semi-final match. Will Xia Qingyue win or will she falter to Ling Yun? This new sword Aerion made... it could be the deciding factor in this match!

Ling Yun and Xia Qingyue met each other on the floor of the arena. Ling Yun asked for her guidance and she didn't reply.

Then the match started.

As the battle went on, Aerion was getting slightly frustrated.

This Ling Yun is fighting so gently and acting like this is some sort of dance... it's annoying. Display my sword's power already!

"Jun Long, what's wrong?" Tai Quin asked

"Nothing... nothing at all."

The Sky Profound sword collided with Xia Qingyue's ice blade countless times yet the ice blade never shattered. This ice blade was made from nothing but profound energy while the Sky Profound sword was made out of two other Sky Profound swords! You could say that it's two Sky Profound beast cores against some profound energy sword. Ling Yun must be holding back... there's no other reason.

The battle continued. When Aerion thought Ling Yun would win, Xia Qingyue fought back harder. Xia Qingyue has grown stronger since their last encounter... that was for sure. Then Ling Yun finally cut Xia Qingyue, her right sleeve to be exact... and her veil dropped as well.

I get it, she's beautiful but the reaction to her face being revealed was too much. Everything stopped as people gazed upon her beauty. They forgot how to breathe, move and even blink. Aerion focused onto Ling Yun and he was deeply dissapointed. That man was basically paralysed.

"Wow... she's beautiful, don't you think, Jun Long?"

Aerion nodded. "That's a stupid question... of course, she is! From what I've seen in my lifetime, she's definitely in my top five."

Then Aerion met Tai Xia's ice-cold eyes and he felt instant regret. Why would he say that out loud? Especially when his future wife was right next to him! Then he shrugged it off. A Dragon should be able to voice his opinion, no? Besides, Tai Xia is on that same list.

"Haha, I'm sorry about that." Tai Quin apologised after seeing his sister's reaction.

Once Ling Yun got over (mostly) Xia Qingyue's beauty, the battle finally continued. Ice lotuses, Sword Lightning, Ice lotus prison and whatever else one can possibly imagine. The Sky Profound sword which Aerion forged was having a field day against Xia Qingyue's ice. With every swing came a large wave of wind which shattered all ice in its path. The Sky Profound ribbon which Xia Qingyue wielded couldn't possibly match up with the King Of Sky Profound swords, Stormcaller! Stormcaller was like a perfect counter to the ribbon. Everything that was created by it would be instantly cut into a thousand pieces by the sword.

"How did you make the sword?" Tai Quin asked

"That's my little secret. All you need to know is the Wind God's Art was part of the process."

"Really? It's no wonder the sword can create wind so easily."

The sword was truly impressive, it absorbed profound energy from the surroundings and gathered it around its blade. The user could release the wind anytime he wanted. The longer the wind was charged, the more powerful (and bigger) it was. Stormcaller is a very versatile weapon... you could use the wind to sharpen the sword, continuously create wind slashes or even charge up a tornado.

I never expected the sword to be this powerful... I should find a way to retrieve it without it being too obvious. Directly attack Ling Yun in the Heaven Secret Basin Realm while wearing a disguise? No, that's far too risky. Making someone else do it for me could be a good method. But who in their right mind would attack the young master of the Heavenly Sword Villa!?

Aerion started to create dozens of different plans. Most were hopeless, but there were a few that seemed plausible.

As the battle continued to rage on, both Ling Yun and Xia Qingyue started to use more and more powerful techniques. Aerion watched as Ling Yun created a perfect copy of himself with just his sword aura! This technique was called the "Sword Spirit Doppelganger". Aerion made sure to take notes since there was a large chance they would meet in the finals.

Ling Yun and his clone forced Xia Qingyue to reveal her true strength, the Frozen Cloud Domain.

"She can use a domain!? That's impossible... only Emperor Profound cultivators can do that!" A person said

How does she do it? Even I can't use a domain...

"She has the Nine Profound Exquisite Body... only one person in ten thousand years is born with it," Jasmine responded directly to Aerion

"So? What makes it so special?"

"She has a small world which can hold more power than her physical body can handle. Meaning that she can learn any Profound Art she wants no matter what her cultivation level is..."

"Oh... that sounds very useful."

That means that she is able to (eventually) learn the 9th Stage of the Wind God's Art, "World Ending Storm", the stage which the Grandmaster himself hasn't reached! That is, of course, if she gets her hands on the Wind God's Art... which isn't very likely. The wind element wouldn't suit her anyway, she's better off with the Frozen Cloud Arts.

Ling Yun was instantly sealed within countless layers of ice in mere moments. Was the match over? Aerion hoped to face off Ling Yun in a melee battle but that scenario didn't seem likely. Then Stormcaller broke free from the ice. Wind started to gather around the sword, this wind surrounded Ling Yun and cut the barrier. This was when he realised that Xia Qingyue would beat him if he didn't do something quick.

The wind from Stormcaller was protecting Ling Yun from the effects of the Frozen Cloud Domain's ice.

"Forgive me, Fairy Xia, but I must win!"

"DOUBLE MOON BREAK!"

*SLASH*

And that was the end.

"WOW... LING YUN IS AMAZING!"

"No... that SWORD IS AMAZING!"

"Such a heavenly blade... it was created by Jun Long, no?"

"Yes, it was!"

"Who would've thought that the Blue Wind Empire has such an other-worldly blacksmith! He made to mid-grade Sky Profound swords into this very blade! A Sky Profound sword that is comparable to an Emperor Profound weapon!"

"Jun Long really saved Ling Yun, he better be grateful for that sword for the rest of his life!"

Ling Kun has observed Jun Long ever since he entered the Quarterfinals, his interests finally peaked when the mighty sword he created led to Ling Yun's victory over Xia Qingyue and her Frozen Cloud Domain.

"Such heavenly craftsmanship... I must inform my seniors of this."

This small thing led to something far, far bigger in the future...

"The sword you made for the Heavenly Sword Villa might be the reason you lose in the Finals and even if you don't, you have helped them grow stronger..."

"Don't worry about it, Grandmaster. I know what I'm doing. By the way... do you have any books about poison on you?"

"Hmm... I do have one."

"Can I borrow it for a week or so?"

"Of course."

Tai Wentian took out the book out of his spatial ring and gave it to Aerion. It was a very large and informative book...

"This book is quite special, it was created by a very wise and well-respected elder. He spent most of his long life learning and writing about poison. During the time he lived, I doubt there was a greater poison master than him in the entire Blue Wind Empire. His many different recipes led to countless successful missions."

"How many recipes does the book have?"

"Over a hundred, here, take it. I don't know why you need it but it seems important."

Over a hundred? Then this is exactly what I need! Aerion took the book and put it in his spatial ring.

This book will help me retrieve the sword, I'm sure of it.

After Ling Yun's sudden victory, Aerion spent the rest of the day in his room. He opened the book about poison and started to skim over the pages until he found something interesting.

"There... this is it!"

After spending a few minutes, Aerion found a poison that would come in handy.

Name: Berserker Poison

Description: Once this deadly poison reaches the blood, the victim is instantly affected. A rush of deadly adrenaline and killing intent fills the entire body in seconds. Then the victim loses all control and goes on a rampage, attacking everyone on sight. The target's profound strength is also temporarily increased by two-four times. There is no cure for this poison but the ingredients required are relatively expensive and rare. Creating it is even harder than gathering the ingredients as even one mistake will result in the poison being ineffective.

Ingredients: Raging Fire Grass, Demon Skull Vine, Earth Profound beast core

Additional ingredient: Dragon Fire (not needed but suggested as it can increase the effects by 2-5 times)

Then he closed his eyes and immediately entered the dungeon. In the corner of the very icy floor five, he saw the cloaked man.

"You came here quite early... do you need something?"

"Yes... I need a lot of Raging Fire Grass, Demon Skull Vine and Earth Profound beast cores."

"A lot? Very well."

The cloaked man took all of Aerion's hard-earned gold.

"You took EVERYTHING?"

"Yea, why not? Here ya go, kid. You asked for a lot so I'm going to give you a lot... HAHAHAHAHAHA."

He vanished after filling his dungeon ring with the ingredients.

"There's like a... thousand portions in here!"

Maybe the gold was well used. Aerion left the dungeon and returned to his inner realm where the Dragon stood. Aerion took out the book and read the instructions carefully. Then he took a deep breath and took out the ingredients he needed.

"Time to get to work."
