"So that's how it is." The Grandmaster said

"So, is it alright if she stays?"

"Of course, as long as you take care of Xia... you can have as many as seven wives."

"Seven? I never said anything about seve-"

"The thing is, you are a great talent that will no doubt attract many beautiful women. There is also no doubt that you too, will be attracted to a few of those beautiful women. It is completely natural... it would have only been a matter of time."

"I see... why seven specifically?... One for every day of the week?"

Tai Wentian nodded. "Yes."

"..."

Aerion was dumb-founded, one for every day of the week? Where is the day for rest? Then he remembered that the Divine Phoenix Emperor had over four hundred and sixty wives! That man must truly be busy...

"Before I let you go, it's time for you to become a Master."

"Not an elder?"

"Well, you won't be any ordinary Master. You just don't fit the age requirement for the rank of elder... hahaha. But you still have more power than everyone else but myself."

"I understand."

Tai Xia and Izanami seemed to get along quite well, after several days. Aerion was joyful as he liked them both and didn't want to see them fight each other. His marriage with Tai Xia was going to be in 3 months which meant that he had a lot of time to prepare. Aerion opened Robb's and Izanami's profound entrances and after he was done, he decided it was time to advance his own cultivation strength.

"What are you going to do next?" Jasmine asked.

"A lot of training."

"You never rest, do you?"

"Never, I won't rest until I..."

Until I return to Westeros and reclaim what rightfully belongs to me!

"Until you...?"

"Until I reach the Divine Way, of course."

"At the rate that you're progressing, it should only take you a few years. But that will only be the beginning..."

"The beginning? You mean the stage beyond Sovereign isn't the last stage?"

"No, it's far from it."

"..."

Far from it...

Aerion walked into the Training Pavilion and quickly found himself a private room on the higher floors. Just before he could open the door to his room, a short and young initiate approached him.

"Senior Brother Jun... can you share the room with your junior?"

"No."

"Please... I really need to get stronger! I want to be like you one day, handsome and strong... but I simply don't have the talent nor do I have the resources. So I always had to make up for it with hard work... but even then, I'm just a trash Noble Rogue Sect disciple."

That's a very deep story, but there's no way I'm sharing a room with a disciple I barely know. I can help in other ways, though.

"I can't give you my cultivation room, but I can give you something far better."

"And what could possibly be better?"

"Your own room..."

Aerion handed the disciple some money and entered his cultivation room.

"Thank you, Senior!"

"So, Jasmine, are you going to teach me anything?"

"You are fine as is, there's no need for this princess to teach you anything."

"That's a bit disappointing... are you sure?"

"If you truly want something to learn then travel to the Ten Thousand Beast Range and attempt to comprehend the Fifth and Sixth stages of the World Ode of the Phoenix."

"Fifth and Sixth? What about the first four stages?"

"They belong to the Divine Phoenix Empire."

The Divine Phoenix Empire... the strongest nation in the Sky Profound Continent. It's trash compared to any one of the Four Great Sacred Grounds... but, it's far stronger than the other six nations. Damn it. Looks like I won't have a use for my Phoenix flames for a while.

"It is possible to comprehend the Fifth and Sixth stages without the first four... but it won't be easy."

"Hmm, then I might have to consider going to this Ten Thousand Beast Range."

But not after I reach Emperor Profound!

Aerion relaxed and closed his eyes.

Aerion saw the Dragon and Heavenly Fire Demon.

"So, you have a new companion." The Dragon commentated

"Yeah. I hope you two can get along."

"You have a whole realm inside of you... and that realm connects you to different worlds. The realm can also store and bring out people from those different worlds. I've never heard of such a heavenly ability, at least where I come from." The Heavenly Fire Demon stated after he analysed the dungeon door.

Looks like he did a bit of exploring while I was out cold...

"I doubt anyone has it but myself. Anyway, Heavenly Fire Demon, let's go to Floor Six."

"Floor Six?"

"The island with an active volcano, the place where I found you."

"Ah... so that's Floor Six."

Congratulations! You have cleared the sixth floor and earned yourself a very strong companion. You also gained Weapon upgrade x2 (Emperor Profound), Heavenly Cultivation Pill x100 (Earth Profound), Heavenly Cultivation Pill x5 (Emperor Profound) and the first four stages of the World Ode of the Phoenix!

Reward: Heavenly Cultivation Pill x1 (Divine Origin), World Transportation Portal and a Divine Origin Weapon.

Once he saw the rewards, he laughed. There he thought he had to fly over to the Divine Phoenix Sect and sneak in to get the first four stages! Now, the first four stages are right in front of him. World Transportation Portal... that peaked his interests. Could it be the thing that brings him back to Westeros?

Aerion unlocked the dungeon and entered Floor Six. The fire spirits had been resurrected but they looked less keen to attack him than before. Aerion and the Heavenly Fire Demon slew about a thousand of them before reaching the Volcano. He gazed down at the magma of the Volcano which later erupted upwards. For some reason, he just zoomed out and stared at the beautiful red lava which could easily kill anyone below the Emperor Profound Realm. Then he got an idea.

"Is it possible for me to cultivate in the volcano?" Aerion asked the Heavenly Fire Demon.

"Yes, if you can live through the fire. It would be far better than ordinary cultivation due to the large density of fire profound energy."

"Then let's hop right in."

Aerion stopped flying and dived straight in. He swam to the very bottom, where the fire profound energy was mostly concentrated. The Heavenly Fire Demon seemed to be immune to the lava himself. Aerion wasn't surprised since the Heavenly Demon had spent most of his time inside of the volcano until he came and removed his chains.

"This kind of progress... it is beyond my wildest imagination!"

"Ahh, I can feel it as well. I can finally regain my old strength... now that my chains are broken. And, eventually, ascend even further!"

"Heavenly Fire Demon, do you have any powerful profound skills?"

"Perhaps... why do you ask?"

"I wish to learn some new skills since I'm going to be here for 2 to 3 months."

"Ahh, I see. So you wish to be my disciple?"

"Well... not a disciple per se, more like a..."

"I wouldn't mind having a disciple as talented as you... it's decided!"

"..."

"You are talented enough to learn all of my techniques, but we need to start somewhere. I'll give you three options; healing, ranged attacks or melee attacks."

"Healing."

"Very well, let's begin, disciple."

"You heal people with fire?"

"Yes, as long as you can form and control the flame properly... watch."

The Heavenly Fire Demon slashed Aerion's c.h.e.s.t, making a small cut. Then the Heavenly Fire Demon created a small portion of fire on his palm and fired it off towards Aerion. Once it hit Aerion, the bleeding stopped and Aerion felt more energised.

Who would've thought that fire can heal people?

"On a side note... your self-regeneration is truly impressive, why did you choose healing?" The Heavenly Fire Demon asked.

"I wish to heal others."

It would be a useful ability to have and could create many opportunities for myself. If someone is dying and you save them from death then you'll certainly get on their good side.

"A noble cause indeed. Do you see how fire can heal now?"

"Yes."

"You see, fire can represent many things. It is most commonly used for destruction, but it can be used to represent rebirth... nirvana as well! Are you ready to learn the technique, disciple?"

"Of course."

And so, Aerion began to learn the unorthodox healing method of the Heavenly Fire Demon while his body absorbed the volcano's fire energy and converted it into cultivation strength. It took Aerion a really long time to get the flames not to harm the recipient (even with the use of the Sharingan!) and even longer to produce a healing effect. To Aerion, his progress seemed very slow while the Heavenly Fire Demon said it was 'other-worldly'. He also spent a few days mastering the first four stages of the World Ode of the Phoenix.

~A month later~

"What's your real name? Until this point, I've been calling you Heavenly Fire Demon. But that isn't your real name... right?"

"Well... at the very end, I was the Emperor Heavenly Demon."

The Emperor Heavenly Demon? Not the Heavenly Demon Emperor? Interesting.

"I was born Dae Chen, then I changed it to Dae Chun when I became a priest. Then everything changed when I found a book with a Heavenly Demon inside of it. We merged together... and that was the end of my old life."

"Dae Chun... a very nice name. How did you become an Emperor?"

"I had a conflict with the Emperor and his corrupt system, so I fought against it and eventually conquered half the land. I was so close to my goal but... then the War Of The Nine Dragons happened..."

"The War Of The Nine Dragons?"

~Another month later~

Aerion finally reached Sky Profound 10 and his flames could finally heal wounds. The more profound energy he charged, the more he could heal. He was quite proud of himself.

"Looks like the work paid off," Aerion said as he healed the Emperor Heavenly Demon.

Previously, they had an intense spar and Aerion lost. He wasn't the only one who got stronger... the Heavenly Fire Demon reached Tyrant Profound Ten! Well, he didn't exactly reach it, it was more like he regained some of his old strength.

"Fire healing is one of the hardest things to learn, learning my melee and ranged techniques would take far less time."

His melee "techniques"... I do not wish to dabble with such demonic arts and I have a ton of ranged attacks.

After seeing Aerion's reaction the Heavenly Demon laughed.

"Not all of my attacks involve striking that place, I'll teach you a style that doesn't involve it."

~15 days later~

"You have learnt all of my basic techniques, a solid foundation indeed. Now, all there is to do is master them."

Aerion's respect for the Heavenly Fire Demon grew more and more as the days passed. This is what he always needed... a master who could guide him towards the right path in a martial world. Before, all of his attacks were just him attacking with brute force and striking from behind. Now they had a special element to them... speed, fury and surprise.

Aerion finally opened his eyes after swallowing the Heavenly Cultivation Pill (Emperor Profound). His Sharingan activated and its free tomoe began to move together... forming a single pattern. He has finally broken through to the Emperor Profound Realm!
