Max drove directly to Deaton's animal clinic and took Selena with him.

Deaton saw Selena's condition and asked, "What happened there?"

Max only have a short reply, "Pack of Alphas. Now dead."

Deaton brought a blue colored powder and threw on Selena. Then he turned to Max and noticed that Max was somewhat different and said, "You've changed, Max."

Max said, "All these days I was limiting myself. I was controled by everything around me, but today I decided to let myself free."

Deaton looked at him and said, "So the result was the death of Deucalion and his Alphas huh. Well, I don't know if this is good or bad to you, but I like it."

Max paused for a second and said, "Doc, can you let Selena join my school. I think it's time."

Deaton give him a smile and said, "You go home now, kid. Let her rest for now. She's just exhausted. You can meet her tomorrow in school."

Max looked at Deaton and smiled, "Thanks, doc. See ya later." And went off.

When Max reached home Chris and Victoria barraged him with questions about him hunting a pack of Alphas. He some how managed to lie through it by saying that it was a trap he and his friends set up. And something like that. And he went off to rest. But Chris an Victoria didn't believe him. They felt like Max was keeping a lot of secrets nowadays, and that they won't get any answers till Max himself tells them.

Next day Max was in school, from morning he was excited. He always had a grin in his face. Everyone in class was curious, even Allison asked him, he replied, "It's a surprise!" And continued grinning like a idiot.

When it was the second period the principal came to their class with a girl wearing a short skirt and a casual t-shirt with a beautiful face and dark hair. Everyone was starting at her, Stiles was almost drooling looking at her. Allison had a doubtful look when she saw the girl. She was thinking about yesterday evening when Max ran off, and today him grinning like an idiot.

Principal introduced her, "She's a new transfer student. Due to some special circ.u.mstances she had to transferred her. Oh and get name's Selena. Selena Gilbert."

When Scott, Stiles and Allison heard the babe Selena, they immediately turned to Max. Max smiled at them and nodded. This was like throwing a bomb at them. Lydia was watching this bunch's exaggerated reactions, and knew that the new girl had something to do with them.

At this time Selena talked, "Hi everyone, I was originally from Beacon Hills, but because of some reason I had move around. And now I'm back."

Everyone said hi. And Selena saw a empty seat beside Max, where usually Jackson sits, but because of yesterday Jackson still didn't come to school. So Selena sat on that seat.

Lydia who was in the front seat wanted to say that it was Jackson's but before she could say anything Selena talked, "Hey Max."

Max replied, "Hey, Selena. Sorry yesterday it was late so I went back home before you could wake up."

Selena smiled at him and asked, "So, how are you gonna make up for it?"

Max knew he wasn't getting away easy, so he threw his car keys to get and said, "Today you drive. I'll stay with you till you say that it's okay to leave."

Selena took the key and grinned, "Okey dokey."

During the class Scott and Stiles simultaneously sent a text about Selena and Max to Derek.

Hearing their conversation, everyone in class froze. Nobody expected that Max knew the new girl and also they were so close.

After the class ended without giving anyone to ask about them. They sneakily left the school. After going out Selena started driving off towards the forest.

As soon as the parked they already started kissing inside the car. He said, "I really missed you."

She took a few breaths and replied, "I missed you too. I hated it wherever you ran off as soon as we met. The day you brought this car also you left early."

Max grinned and said, "Why don't I make it up to you by, staying with you, like, most of the time."

Selena happily smiled and said, "That works for me. As soon as you're out of the house, you better be my side."

Max laughed and said, "Why not when I'm inside my house?"

Selena blushed and said, "Oh yeah, why don't I talk to your dad and mom about making that arrangement?"

Hearing this Max started sweating and said, "Don't worry. I'll get my own place soon. How about you move in then?"

Selena's face turned red hearing this and said, "Let's see. If I still like you till then, I might take you up on that suggestion."and grinned after saying that.

After pausing for a bit she continued, "Now, it's time for me to collect some interested for staying all this time." As she made her way over to his seat and they started kissing again.

Near the school, Lydia was constantly asking Allison about Selena and Max's relationship. As everyone knew Max didn't show any interest towards any girls in school. Before Lydia got together with Jackson, she also tried to get close to Max only to be shut off by him.

Also just replied, "If my guess is right, she's my brother's childhood friend. But I didn't know that they were in touch all these years. It's been more than a decade.

Lydia gasped at this. She couldn't imagine that the odd ball Max had a little lover over a decade.

As they made their way out to the parking space. Allison saw Scott and Stiles coming over, she could also see Derek sitting in Stiles's Jeep. She still wondered why Derek sits in that Jeep even though he had his own car.

She told Lydia that she had something to do and went to Scott and Stiles. As soon as she reached there, they started the Jeep and went off. They kept on asking about, Selena. And whether everything Max told them was a lie. She didn't know what to say, so she also said that she didn't know.

At this time Derek talked, "I think we should talk to him. I placed a tracker on his car last week. Let's follow that. And I also have to ask him about something here might have done last night."
