When Max was about to knock on the door the door opened and Selena jumped at him into a tight hug and they started kissing each other.

Divina watching then couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. So she decided to make her presence known, "Ahem. Guys, don't you think you should go inside. I mean people are watching." As she was saying this she pointed to Chris who was standing in front of his house which was opposite to them.

Max separated from Selena's kiss and looked at his dad while saying, "Oh, he's my dad." Then he shouted towards his dad, "Dad, you wanna come in?"

His dad didn't say anything and made his way towards Max and hugged him and said, "Welcome back, kiddo."

After that they went in and Chris decided to ask something which was bothering him, "So Max, who's this new girl?"

At this time Selena also joined in, "Yeah Max, who's this 'new girl'?"

Max knew sooner or later they're gonna start with it, so he said, "Guys I'd like you to meet Divina. She's a witch." and he turned to Divina and said, "Divina this is my father, Chris Argent, and this is my girlfriend, Selena."

They were taken aback hearing she was a witch, but before they could ask anything more, Divina talked. "Hello, Mr. Argent. And hello Selena, Max told me a lot about you two."

Chris said hello just to be polite, but he was still confused as to why Max brought in a witch. Selene was giving him the eye, and Max hated the eye. He knew if he didn't clear up everything their relationship will be in jeopardy. So he started narrating everything that happened in New Orleans, "Guys, it's like this. When I went to New Orleans... [He explains the whole story about what happened in New Orleans with lies mixed here and there, and how the witches are looking for Divina to sacrifice her]"

Chris was enraged hearing that they wanted to sacrifice her for some ritual. Selena was disgusted by how the witches treated Divina. Now she even felt pity while looking at Divina. Max saw that the time was right and decided to drop the bomb, "So she'll be living here from now on."

Chris didn't bother much, he just looked at Max and gave him a knowing smile. But it was Selene who was feeling the crisis for her Max. She somehow felt that Divina has feelings for Max and now that she's staying here, she had an ominous foreboding. But she decided to talk to Max privately about this.

Max looked at his father's smile and knew that they misunderstood, so he said, "Only till she's 18, after that I think she'll get a place of her own. So Dad think you can help us get back in school?"

Chris said, "Don't worry about it. I can fake a few papers and make it look like you're both transfer students."

They all had a little chat, after that Max decided to get serious, "Now, can you guys tell me what's the trouble you're having?"

Chris and Selena looked at each other and nodded, Selena started, "How much do you know about werejaguar?"

Max was confused. According to the original story, this time it was suppose to be kanima, but he knew that everything was not going according to the story since he'd gotten involved. "Don't tell me we're dealing with werejaguar and berserkers."

Chris said, "Yup. We've been able to fend them off using much of mountain ash and mistletoe. But we're unable to take them down."

Max was shocked hearing everything. And said, "Call everyone. I'll find Stiles. And don't stay seperate. Walk in groups."

Selena said, "Don't worry about that. Allison is with Scott. And Derek is with one of his betas. And two more of his betas are looking around the school."

Max was having an headache hearing that Derek has cooked up some betas. According to the TV series his betas must be Boyd, Isaac and Erica.

Max just said, "Call everyone in conference, I'll look for Stiles and let them know the location." After saying that he held two fingers at his forehead and concentrated. Soon he was able to sense everyone in Beacon Hills.

After a few minutes he opened his eyes and said, "Is Derek on the line?"

A voice from the phone came in, "I'm here, Max."

Max said, "Head two miles north of your direction. There's a well and Stiles is inside. I don't sense any berserker near by. Get there fast, I'm sensing he's losing his life force."

Everyone was surprised hearing this. Derek asked, "How did you--"

But was interrupted by Max, "There's no time. In a couple hours he'll die. Get him back to my house. As for everyone else, directly come here. I think we all need to have a talk."

On the other side Boyd and Erica were confused. They knew who Max was, but nobody talked about him after he left. Now hearing Max come back and finding out Stiles from his home. They were feeling that there was something Max was hiding.

Boyd looked at Erica and asked, "Do you think that it could me Max. I mean he barges into town and tells exactly where Stiles is and that he's dying. Don't you think it's all a bit fishy?"

Erica frowned and said, "If he really is a werejaguar. I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind. But if he's not, he better have a pretty good explaining for everything."

Boyd nodded, "Do you know where he stays?"

Erica said, "I heard from Allison that he used stay right in front of her house where he bought a new one. I still don't know why he's living alone instead of living with his family."

Boyd said, "I don't know about that. But everything about him seems fishy."

Meanwhile Derek and Isaac found Stiles who seemed to be poisoned and unconscious. And took him as they went running back.

Derek frowned and said, "Don't think too much about it. Max has a lot of secrets, but he doesn't want to hurt any of us. You remember when you asked about why Allison and Stiles were strong when they're still human?"

Isaac nodded and asked, "Yeah, nobody gave a proper answer. Think you can tell me now?"

Derek started driving and said, "It's no big secret. Max trained them both. Well, me and Scott, we also trained with them. So you don't have to worry about him."

Isaac asked, "So you mean to tell me that he was the one who started the training session we usually have at weekends in the woods?"

Derek just nodded and kept on driving towards Max's home.
