That Mysterious Guy

DINNER PARTY

Deana came out of her Villa to head at Dining Garden. She saw Spencer and Senator Reyes talking outside near a mini pond. She'd realize, the Senator has stayed next to Spencer's Villa.

"Big sister Deana!" A 6 years old cute girl running towards her.

"Hello, Kitty! Ah, you're so pretty on your dress." She greeted the little girl.

"Miss Mariel said, I am more pretty on my grown tomorrow!" Kitty will be one of the flower girls.

"I am sure of it!" Deana planted a kiss on her cheeks. She stood straight and greeted the two gentlemen.

"Good evening Senator Reyes, President Spencer."

"Ouch, why so formal. You can call my name Deana, we are all a guest and having a vacation. Right, Mr. Spencer?" The senator laughs. "Oopsie…"

Spencer and her laughs.

"Then let's head to the dining garden," the senator proposed.

She nodded at the two men. Kitty holds her hand so she walks with Kitty, leaving behind the two men continued talking.

"When do you have a plan to get married, Spencer?" the senator ask the bachelor president.

"Ah… I don't actually think about it yet, senator, err, Mark."

Mark laughs. "Well, am not telling you because you are getting of age… but there are perfect women we have tonight for you to take a look and maybe start courting and become your girlfriend? Maybe you will find the ONE on this island!" Mark encouragement. Spencer just chuckled as a response.

Deana who walks a little slow because of Kitty, she was listening secretly to their conversation.

"Look at Deana, maybe she is the one! She could be a good mom," Mark added.

Deana acted like she heard nothing and continued listening to Kitty's questions of her. Her other ear listening to the men behind.

"Of course, she would be," Spencer replied.

"Ah, I knew it!" Mark said then laughs again.

"She loves children. I saw her Vlogs during her visitations around the country. Those areas that impossible to reach by civilization. She won't mind going those places and give help." Spencer added to his first statement.

That was true. Deana will invite volunteer doctors to come with here to visits those mountains.

"Ah, of course! That's one thing I admire about her! Beautiful, smart, dedicated, with a golden heart… you can't ask for more!"

Deana who was listening felt embarrassed. So, are men truly gossiping huh? She's thinking about this. But still acting she heard nothing.

"Yeah," Spencer agreed.

"I actually planning of asking her for my campaign but I heard, she was just coming for Jana's wedding then leaving the country soon again."

"Ah, okay. Anyways, are you planning to remarry, Mark?" Spencer questions the senator out of the blue. Mark laughs.

"Oh, well… if Kitty wants a new mommy. Why not? If our understanding is mutual and we agreed on many things, why not?"

"I want a new mommy!" Kitty suddenly turns around to her daddy. Deana was surprised to the little girl's action. She blushed slightly glancing at the two men. Gladly, Kitty runs while grabbing her so she got to escape.

They now arrive at the dining garden where almost all the guests were in the venue. A server escorted them to the table that reserves for them. Kitty saw Mariel and she runs towards the international designer. Kitty grabs her and asks to join them, Mariel gladly accepted.

Spencer pulls a seat for Deana, surprised for his gestures, she thanked him. Mark also pulled a seat for Mariel next to her then Kitty. Spencer seated on her other side. She wanders her eyes and notices the table across them. It was the Estrada family. She looks away and greeted their next table where Senator Lacson's family seated. Lorraine Lacson greeted her back and chatted a little.

There is a person across her giving dark gazes on their table. Jason was jealous of how Spencer pulled a chair for her. He has no right anymore, yes. But he can't help feeling it, witnessing that right in front of his eyes. Isn't he did the same to Deana? They were at the same party but he was with another woman after that scandal and breaking up with her.

Food was served and Jason even got jealous of how Spencer is attentive of offering food on Deana's.

Not long after, the couple arrives. A little speech and everyone continued eating. Jana and Gary stop by on their table for a moment then left to join their parents' table.

Mark and Spencer continued talking while she was chatting with Mariel and Kitty. She was electrified when suddenly her arm brush off on Spencer's hand. She told him sorry and avoid to make a contact again with him. Spencer just smiled at her like saying no problem.

Mark offered them some hard liquor. Deana just requested for some wine and Mariel did the same. Mark called the server and asked for a bottle of red wine. Kitty asked if she could have some too. Her daddy explains why she cannot have it yet and the little girl listening cutely.

"Ah, you are so cute, Kitty!" She pinched Kitty's cheek.

"How old are you now, Deana?" Mark asked her afterward.

"Hmm... I would not deny, am 28 now." She smiled.

"I see, it's time for you to get married as well. President Spencer, I know he is single. Not only that, he owns a mansion, expensive cars, and a business tycoon! He could give you a bright future! What I know, he has no girlfriend… unless he is just hiding his women," Mark whispered that part. She smirks.

"Mark, are you really pairing me for Deana or discouraging her to like me?" Spencer complained.

Mark laughing so hard who were amused by teasing them. The other guests often glancing at their table because of Spencer's presence. Not only that, but Deana was also there.

For Jason's mother's point of view, Deana is seducing the president who is dreamed by every woman both from High Society, celebrities and ordinary citizens who are aware of Spencer's existence. She is glaring at Deana all evening. Jason also did not leave his eyes at her and Spencer.

"Deana," Spencer whispered to her when Mark is busy talking with Senator Lacson at the next table. "Don't drink too much, okay?"

She was surprised but nodded.
