Gram decided to look at their statuses and noticed that something had changed on his girlfriend's status panel.

"You got a new skill from [ Power Augmentation ]. Let's see, oh, so you get bonus STR status points that are really good for several of your skills! You're such a lucky fella~" Gram softly rubbed cheeks softly. Her mushy cheeks had gained a pout as she leered at him because he kept doing without stopping.

It might be luck or something but it seems his predictions about [ Power Augmentation ] are right. The receiving player would be enhanced and might very rarely gain new skill-based on the earned status points since it's breaking the norms of the current because of getting a high-status evaluation. It felt like cheating but in the end, it made everything they did easier. (AN: Not only cheaty but game-breaking. Riot please nerf.. XD)

"Eh? I didn't notice earlier ehehe~" Kaede looked at the skill description with curiosity.

Skimming the description, Kaede got excited as she can finally do some damage with her shield, as she's limited on using only a few skills like [ Shield Attack ] and [ Echoing Roar ] skill since the two skills scaled with STR greatly. It would boost her attack power in a large margin and might be able to kill monsters in one bash which made her so thrilled and excited.

[ Build Up Strength ]

By building VIT, the body soaks every damage took by the player but there is the energy resulting from the excess defensiveness. Converts every 2 VIT is equivalent to 1 STR. Doesn't affect gear status points or temporary status increasing ability.

"He~he, so it means I can get [ STR ] without putting points to it! That's so cool~ My attack will have a lot of damage now!" Kaede 's eyes lit up with excitement. It just means that she will be able to damage with better numbers, albeit her priority was still putting all to VIT and tanking every damage possible.

"That's because of me." Gram felt smug and smiled playfully at the over-eager girl that really wanted to try out her new [ STR ].

"Yeah~yeah, Gram is so cool." Kaede nodded frantically while clapping in front of him with much gusto.

Gram teased Kaede. "Then~ there must be a reward!" He immediately held her hands and looked at her with expectant eyes.

"Eh~ I don't want too~ You're so~" She blushed and looked to the side with a hint of redness spreading at her cheeks.

"A kiss in the cheek?" Gram suggested, he lowered his body and closed his eyes while a smile plastered on his face. Kaede got ruddier and decided to reward her boyfriend in the somewhat ecchi for her, ( Don't corrupt our pure girl here! Fbi opened up! ) ultimately, she did so by surprising him.

"Chu~" She immediately turned around to hide her embarrassment. He opened his eyes and chuckled, feeling much better and vigorous.

"Thanks for the reward!" Kaede quietly replied with an "N~nn" demurely and shyly which made her so cute despite wearing that unique outfit.

Gram raised his hand towards the embarrassed Kaede, "Let's go?" She accepted with a timid nod. They roamed around as they waited for the start of the event. They talked about menial topics that eased the embarrassed heart of the diminutive girl and after some time, she recovered back to her usual bubbly energetic self.

At a certain NWO forum, the oblivious duo was being talked after a middle-aged man started a discussion due to the new information he acquired.

They were really lovey-dovey towards each other and although he looked cool and somewhat apathetic, he's friendly and approachable.

I'm so sad... I don't have a girlfriend yet Maple-chan and Knox-kun seems to be too close for a new couple-ship.

Wait, a sec.... I realize it now! Ahhh! I just had a conjecture, but can everyone analyze? From what I saw, Knox-kun had white hair moreover, he had cool-looking features and gears that can compare to the newly geared Maple-chan!

He had a unique weapon which is a glove that acted as a mage staff and seems to be a really a mage. Although, I wasn't able to ask what attribute mage he was. He's indeed a very intelligible and seemingly a 'riajuu'. Although, he can easily follow up with my explanation on RPG games and seems to understand much of how the game works.

Lastly, I was able to ask them some information about their builds just for the payback for helping them.

I got more detailed info about Maple-chan build and that Knox-kun, I'll share with you guys in the game. Let's have another discussion at the same place and time before, is everyone in?

Both persons were still oblivious and would probably continue to be like that in the years that will pass. The budding clan's motivation isn't really long-lived once they saw how overpowered the male when they saw his actions in the first event. Making everyone gulped at their idiotic crude white-knight and keyboard warrior personalities fade.

Gran returned to the game. He looked at his friend list and saw the green-colored border of Kaede's in-game name before seeing her appear in front of him. He smiled and said, "We timed it right it seems." Gram greeted Kaede with a quick rub to her head. She only replied with a nod and didn't seem to hate his greeting.

"Yeah, should we really take part in this event?" Kaede asked and looked around excitedly, although she's a little nervous since it will be her first event.

"Why not? Getting the coins means we can get a unique once in a lifetime skill, right? Although, I bet we won't be able to get that many coins." Gram rubbed his chin.

For the last status check, they looked at their statuses. Both still don't have any AGI status points, he had replaced his boots after all. That's their only weakness and it might be a bad thing since they needed to defeat other players to gain the reward points.

Gram had many stacking, crowd control AoE skills and Kaede had an insurmountable defense so it'll be great if they could join up but, he didn't know if they would spawn in tandem since this event is, after all, a free-for-all game.

"It'll be good for us if we spawn near each other, though." Kaede suggested while being hopeful.

"Yeah, it's a free-for-all battle. I don't think there are many chances and if we don't see each other, you must remember to use your skills and stack as many MP (players) as possible. Is that alright? Even if you're immobile, you just have to use your infused skills and enhance its damage as they wouldn't be able to deal with you even if they ganged up" Gram noted Kaede as he felt she would be a headache and a distressing enemy to face. He chuckled imagining the scenario once she had actually started fighting other players.

"Yeah, Yeah~ I know Mr. Know how~" Kaede pouted seeing him laugh towards her, feeling that he's imaging something bad.

"Do you want me to play with your cheeks again?" Gram rolled his eyes and smiled playfully while raising his hand.

"Ah! Look, the event is starting! ~~" Kaede distracted him while pulling his face towards the large screen at the distance.

After waiting for a few minutes, the first plaza spawn point got filled with many players. The participants continuously gathered to even the other spawn points. The duo saw many players appear with a beam of light which is a little interesting to see. It seems many players really wanted to take the chance and get ranked to take something from the reward list. While he was over-thinking, he saw a commotion in the sky.

Three side by side gigantic screens appeared and floated there. It served to be the viewing platform for the interesting scenes in the event. Not all players wanted to take part as there were non-combatant or players of a different region. Even some decided to gamble and bet their only gold to their favorite players to see who would get to the top ten.

A mass of floating comical cats appeared beside every player and briefly explained the rules of the event.

"Well then, the first event! Battle Royale is commencing!" With that, the cats seemingly poofed out of existence.

From here and there, the noise of the players 'ohh!!' echoed. Kaede also raised her fist up, she's usually timid when many people are nearby but right now, she had a renewed vigor and excitement, she joined the other and shouted cutely while he just chuckled at her noteworthy behavior.

"Well then, I will explain the rules once more! The time limit is three hours. The stage will be held on an instance designated event map." The comical cat had appeared beside the floating screens as it's imm.a.t.u.r.e voice resounded to all players.

The comical cat explained again; the collected points are earned by the number of players defeated, vice versa the times being defeated result in loss of points. The main points will be based on the player's damage dealt and players' kill count will be used as the criteria and be ranked!

"As I said before, event items are only available to the top ten players! So please do your best!" The comical cat saluted.

Another echoing "Ohh!" sounded from the excited players as they got more thrilled when they heard that there were unique items on the reward exchange list.

"Well then, the first event! Battle Royale is starting!" Once the countdown at the floating screen reached zero, the participating players got enveloped by a blinding light as they had been teleported to the event map.

Gram opened his eyes and noticed that the light had disappeared. He started surveying the surroundings. As it looks like he got transported in a forest area on the instance of the event map.

Luckily, there was no one around, and the trees were the only thing he could see. It could be that the others were luckier that they didn't spawn near his place.

"Let's see here… Oh! I'm right you can communicate using the chat feature." He quickly contacted Kaede first to meet up with her later, albeit she replied a while later, and described her place to be in the ruins of a large desert-like building.

"Is the map function also available? Ohh~h!" Gram saw that his indicator in the map seems to be in the south place of the map and a little far from the near center position where she was going to wait.

"Well, I don't have any movement speed nor can I speed myself up." Although; he wanted to meet up with her, there are only three hours for the event, and walking there seems to be inefficient if he wanted the rewards. He didn't want to use [ Spell Creation ] or the administrator watching the event might get suspicious or something. Although he's only assuming, it's better to be careful at least if he wants to continue to be overly powerful.

Gram just slowly walked towards her direction while Kaede waited on her position, humming and drawing cute figures on the sandy ground. She remembered his lessons and decided to wait for some time while making herself entertained.

She didn't really like typing because she's bad at it and with a rather broken, occurrent mistyping, they agreed to just wait for him while she tries to get some points herself.

Walking around for five minutes, he suddenly heard some players nearby. With his [ Perception ], he saw that he instantly got noticed by a group of golden-hued players as they had already started surrounding him like a pack of hyenas.

It seems that these few players were one of the unscrupulous ones. The event is supposed to be free for all, but it seems players like to party up to target those alone or that have more skills and chances to win in top ten. Of course, it's the same for them, not taking advantage and making allies seems to be a stupid thing to do here.

"Hmm~ Your group is fast, it's a given with that build and skills. But, with that means, it's not enough to stop me!" Gram raised his hand and used [ Gravity Downforce ] cooly, the five-team party instantly got enveloped by a mysterious force as they stopped in their position.

Only STR build players will be able to contend against the new added weight of the skill, one player immediately reacted and used his counter skill that can be claimed by a normal adventurous player.

"Don't be so full of yourself [ Berserk ]!" With the burst of red-light, the man was able to move in that moment, the ruffed man quickly sprinted with his long-sword ready to chop his head. The mage on the group had used [ Negate Debuff ] but it seems it doesn't work, although they weren't able to move, they could still use skills.

Although, he didn't give the party more chances to retaliate. "[ Fire Bullet ]![ Fire Bullet ]![ Fire Bullet ]![ Fire Bullet ]! [ Fire Bullet ]! It's really bothersome to use spells consecutively."

Gram reacted by using his spells to the unmoving players at the back, deciding to deal with the range players first.

"[ Fire Bullet ]! [ Fire Bullet ]!"

Gram didn't have any counter to mage spells since [ Gravity Downforce ] doesn't affect spell flight and can only affect the player itself. His [ Light Barrier ] is also weak towards physical based attacks as even [ Poisoned Arrow ] seems to work massively against it. Although, he wasn't really worried since his passive of [ Almighty Defense ] barrier ability is reliant to his VIT making it the core defense he had so that's why he didn't get scared at the situation.

He also had another way to counter magic or spells. It was the [ Bizarre Eater ], as with it, he can counterspells or range skills used at him since it's an instantaneous use albeit having a limited use for it. He could also use it to devour players but he hasn't tried it out yet.

Furthermore, it transformed the player spells into a usable MP or he could even use it to double his attack power. This could improve his efficiency in defeating players, it had great variability in the current side of things.

His non-infused [ Bizarre Eater ] skill didn't have any limit usage, but it might have a cool-down when he used it consecutively. Nonetheless, it increased his max MP for a temporary period of time. There must be an MP cap that could be stacked. It was a great alternative since when he regenerated MP using his [ Transcendental Meditation ] as using the skill, he still had to wait for 5 seconds.

Some spells and skills hit him, it didn't do much damage and just hit the diminishing count of [ Light Barrier ], he finished off the four players from the party.

As he moderately used [ Fire Bullet ] one each for a player, he already used earlier but they quickly died after getting hit the second time. Only the tankiest and magic resistant swordsman is left, the man who used his best skills tried to hit him but it didn't work, even [ Charge Blade ] doesn't seem to work against the unlimited amount of [ Light Barrier ] surrounding making the man lamenting why did they seek trouble for themselves.

[ Bizarre Eater ]! To the agonized sword user's horror, he quickly disappeared like a glass falling as he got s.u.c.k.e.d in. A tattoo-like gem appeared on Gram's hooded back which isn't unnoticed by the public.

"How is ahhhhh~!"

The players didn't worry about dying as they could respawn in the event, with only punishment of some rewards points. The teamed-up players weren't that worried since they will respawn indefinitely until the event finished.

"Just one-shot?! Let's leave quickly!" Conspiring with other speed-type players, the others who had heard the commotion, wanted to get in the action but seeing his horrifying abilities of the white-haired dude, they decided to wait first and scout out the overpowered player.

Gram noticed that he had to use more than once a spell or consecutively every-time and felt it to be redundant.

"Is there a skill that can make use of my spell and cast it consecutively or multiple times?" Gram rubbed his chin. [ Spell Creation ] might work, he thought of making something like creating an offense spell with different parts but it might lessen the default overall damage making it less potent than [ Fire Bullet ].

"Maybe, after this event, I can get one as a reward." The chance isn't many but there should be something that might help him use spells much better, although, he didn't know if the reward he will get would be enough to exchange it.

Adding more synergy to his arsenal would mean doom for the administrators and learning from mage centers isn't also a bad thing.

Or could he learn from other mage players? It's not that of a troubling thing but it's really annoying for him, as being able to cast in multiples seems much better than casting it consecutively.

Gram looked around and saw the scorch marks he had done. His first encounter was already finished as the group of players weren't even able to react to what happened. The AGI based players had already left while others spectated far away from his detection range.

"I only got a few points, well this isn't enough." Gram saw the quickly changing rankings. He saw his low rank quickly got overtaken by others.

"There is only one? Where are the others?" The other players noticed his commotion just now and they approached nearby ignorant of what had happened.

They saw him in an instant; they didn't know him but given the commotion of the sound; it seems this guy removed some players already. The nearby newcomers suddenly gulped as they saw something like an aura spreading around.

Making a comparison to the one at the top-ten in just minutes in the event, some players deducted this guy to be in the top ranking.

"I got you now! Attack him now!" One player shouted as arrows in front started flying towards Gram. The mages recovered from their stupor and used their skills and spells as well.

These guys might be here to revenge for the earlier group? 'Is this another one of those solo player farmers?'

"Ah! Don't approach him, you cannot move under 200 STR!! Use range spells, skills!" A melee-range player wanted to approach but the moment he reached the [ Gravity Downforce ] domain, his body left control and could only speak haggardly.

He used his skill, but it didn't make any difference. His skills are reliant towards body movements, he couldn't even use offensive skills he had.

"Ha? U-uwaah!"

[ Player, [ XXXXXX ] had been defeated. ]

"Why is he dealing that much damage! Try to evade it! What's with this AoE skill?!" The man who moved near tried to move while the others tried to use their skills, [ Repel ], [ Negate ], but unless they dealt with his barrier first, they won't be able to interrupt the skill. They could only negate the skill by trying to remove the caster first.

Only after some time, he saw in his eyes a fire spell coming towards him before the red bar on his HP evaporated in an instant.

And, with his shards, he died. The other players didn't fear him as though thinking he will run out of MP eventually.

Albeit, he was still nonchalant about it, he tried not minding casting skills much and just tried to gather points. Although, shouting spells were a little tiresome; he firstly dealt with non-moving players like the mages or range players that could not evade his counter-attack.

Ranger's with bows were the most troubled albeit it was also troublesome for him, they can't deal damage but he can't deal damage to them either since they move fast. Unless he used a wider range of spells, he wouldn't be able to deal with those speedy players that had more than [ AGI 100 ] on their belt.

So the ranged physical-based players gave up for now. He also repealed the skills by using [ Bizarre Eater ] making his temporary mana leap increase.

They move outside his domain, their skills and spells don't even reach his skin much less approaching him only led to a much faster death.

"Making commotion is the best way to get points~!" Gram chatted Kaede, but she didn't reply after his chat. She might be fighting other single-handedly which he didn't worry, with that status on her, a normal player won't be able to damage her in the slightest. He was more worried others would hate his goodest girl but in the end, he tried not to think of it, who would hate a cute girl just because they got insta-killed.

Meanwhile, after cleaning up the players that tried to approach her, Kaede replied slowly to him and afterward, continued to draw on the sandy ground while she waited for unsuspecting players to take the bait.

"La~la~la..."
