SHAWN P. O. V.

He saw Kane leaving the alpha meeting room in anger.

[Shawn] Kane.... What happened?

Kane turned in anger but calms down when he sees Shawn.

[Kane] Your father.... he don't want me to kill your brother... tell me why?

[Shawn] Maybe because you are supposed to be on higher rank to kill an heir.

Kane's anger comes back as he growls .

[Kane] I'm your sister's mate and the security head of the clan and also an master assassin so tell me why I can't kill Rayner.

[Shawn] .. sighs.. See he is the king alpha... you better follow his orders and about Rayner.. all you have to do is to bring him back and then my father will kill him and once the heir is dead he definitely gonna need new one which is going to be me and as I become the alpha king... I will change all the s.u.c.k.i.n.g rules of hierarchy.

Kane agrees and signals one of his men to prepare for his departure.

[Kane] You are right... I will bring him back so that he can finally gets what he deserves.

As Kane leaves Shawn head towards the alpha meeting room and finds his father sitting on couch .

[Shawn] You do know that he can't take Rayner.

When Peter hears his son's voice a smile takes over on his face.

[Peter] Yeah I know but he can do what none of us can do.

[Shawn] Which is?

[Peter] He can make Rayner do mistakes which can directly lead us to him.

[Shawn] By sacrificing Sarah's mate?... I can't understand your decisions... he is still the heir after doing so many terrible things and even if I am older than him you still think that he is better than me..... tell me it's not because of grandfather.

When Peter hears those words his eyes quickly turns red showing how angry he is in this moment. Shawn lost control over his body as he slowly starts walking towards his father even if he don't want to. Shawn knew he pissed off his father by taking his grand father in their conversation.

[Peter] He is your brother and my son... I could have send an entire army of werewolves to take him but I have some different plans for him.

[Shawn] I'm..I'm sorry.

Shawn apologizes to his father as Peter also realises that he needs to calm down.

Peter leaves in anger seeing his daughter standing behind Shawn.

[Sarah] What you did this time?.... and yeah for God sake don't tell me that you asked him to make you the heir.... again.

[Shawn] Oh....you finally got time for your family.... this is second time I'm seeing you in last three months.

Sarah is busy in doing her stuff from last three months as she is also keeping an close eye on Rayner.

Sarah looks around and casts a cloaking spell around them.

[Sarah] I want to talk to you about something very important but you need to keep it to yourself.

[Shawn] What is it?

Sarah takes deep breath and gains some energy and courage to speak.

[Sarah] When Rayner escaped from the armory... Alex informed me before any of you so I went to Mystic Falls to find him.. but my true intentions were to kill him so when I found him.. he was not alone.. he escaped from the armory with help of some other prisoners.....I killed all of them except two of them were werewolves so I handed them back to the armory.

Rayner thought I killed them too so he fought with me but he was weak at that moment but when I was fighting with him I looked in his memories and you will never believe what I saw.

[Shawn] You saw what?

[Sarah] I saw the night before the trial.. after the party.... father asked Rayner to meet him alone.When he got to the place where father and he were supposed to meet....

Sarah stops at the moment cause she didn't wanted to tell him the truth but instead it makes Shawn more curious.

[Shawn] Tell me what happened after that.

[Sarah] Father killed him.

[Shawn] What?

A shiver runs through Shawn's spine as he found himself unable to believe his sister's words.

[Sarah] He stabbed him in back and then in neck... Rayner was defense less and unable to fight back. Father killed all of his werewolves at that night including Kane's father.

[Shawn] No it's not possible... I saw him losing control in trial... if he was dead then how did he managed to become a vampire and specially why will father kill his own son.

Sarah looks in Shawn's mind he was thinking that his sister is gone crazy and Shawn can't even imagine that his father can kill Ray.

[Sarah] I know what you are thinking but will you tell me how grandfather died.

[Shawn] He died because of heart attack and it's common in old age.

Shawn tries to defend his father because even if he don't have any psychic abilities he knows that Sarah is framing Peter for their brother and grandfather's death.

[Sarah] Grandfather's ability was making illusions and father knew that he wanted Rayner to inherit his ability by killing him. But father never wanted Rayner to live he wanted to kill him since the moment he found out that he is an Eirer. Father killed both grandfather and Rayner when they both were defenseless and vulnerable. Father stole grandfather's ability and used it against Rayner.

[Shawn] For What?

[Sarah] Don't play dumb... you know he killed him to steal his ability. Rayner's ability is not just curing and healing... it's give the owner the invincibility and even it magnifies your power and tell me what not can happen if father gets Rayner's ability. He will be able to kill any supernatural and his ability to control will not be just limited to animals and werewolves he will be able to control witches and so many other supernatural species.

[Shawn] You are saying that Father first killed grand father and stole his abilities and then he killed Rayner but then why he didn't got his ability?

Shawn knew Sarah from the start and he knows that she can't just throw words on him she definitely have a proof of everything.

[Sarah] Because Rayner didn't died.Kane's father found him but he was gone so John took him to mom. Can you imagine what would have happened to mom when he saw Rayner's lifeless body in John's hand. John saw father killing Rayner but he was unable to do anything to protect his friend and when mom found out about that she knew that father will try to kill him again so she just didn't resurrected him but she also made him a beast which can't be killed but the ritual was incomplete. She lack the ingredients which were impossible to find specially three of them so she wrote a letter and put in Rayner's pocket. Rayner became a vampire because of father but if he completed the ritual he will be unstoppable even an army will be nothing in front of him.

[Shawn] Where's the letter now?

[Sarah] It doesn't matter... you need to listen whole story.When father finds out that he doesn't got Eirer ability. He knew that it only means Rayner didn't died so he searched for him in entire mansion and found him.

[Shawn] Then What?

Shawn was getting close to the end and story was slowly coming on the path.

[Sarah] Mom gathered every werewolf friend to defend Rayner but soon father killed them all including Kane's father.But Rayner he can't be killed... father used everything... wooden stake.. white oak and he even crushed his heart and head few times but nothing worked so he prisoned him in armory so they can do research on him and find out how to kill him. Shawn our brother suffered for thirty years just because of father's selfishness.... what we saw in trial was nothing but all illusions and I saw what father wanted me to see in mom's memories.. the moment when she turned Rayner into a vampire and fool me just agreed on everything father was saying. He said that only he will kill him not because he can't see anyone else killing him but he wants his abilities.

I tried to convince Rayner to come with me so we can make everything right again but the armory did so much to him that only thing he wanted was to take revenge of what is done to him. He knew that father also killed grandfather he was filled with vengeance and stupid me killed all his friends in anger. I knew that it will be impossible to stop him once he will get his full strength so..

[Shawn] So what?

Tears were already started to flow from Sarah's eyes.

[Sarah] So I erased his memories.... everything ever happened to him before... all of his suffering.... pain, love, us even himself I made him forget everything about us... about mom and even about father and grand father.

[Shawn] But he will be defenseless against anyone who seeks revenge against him.

[Sarah] No he won't. I located him after I erased his memories. He is in New Orleans and he is happy.. he have a beautiful girlfriend and I checked on her and she don't have any past criminal record and he have some nice.... vampire friends.

[Shawn] Yeah by the way.... I forgot to tell you that Kane is assigned to bring him back.

Sarah's sweet look turns into pale white emotionless look when Shawn says that.

[Sarah] what?.....and you are telling me that now.

[Shawn] that was the thing for which me and father were talking about.

After that they both left the Hall mansion but first they went to Mystic Falls to retrieve the letter but when they get to the armory. They found nothing but chaos and Enzo who was shocked after seeing those two.

[Enzo] If you are looking for your brother then he left three hours ago.

Enzo knew that Sarah is Rayner's sister and she ruined Rayner's plan of escape.

[Enzo] With his stuff.

Sarah and Shawn looks at each other in confusion but actually it was Shawn who was doubting on his sister.

[Shawn] You said that you erased his memories then why he came to this place?

[Enzo] Don't worry he don't remember anything but he will find out every thing sooner rather than later.

Sarah looks in Enzo's memories to find out that if he is telling the truth or not.

When she looks in his memories she founds out everything and also that Enzo helped Rayner in escape.

[Sarah] Thank you sir for every thing that you have done for our brother. We will look forward to thank you one day but right now will you tell us where is he headed?

[Enzo] Why should I tell after all it was you who failed his plan before and killed his friends.

[Sarah] See that was an misunderstanding but now every thing is clear.

All of a sudden Alex enters in the armory seeing nothing but dead guards and broken walls.

[Alex] What happened here?

[Enzo] Rayner Hall happened.

Alex sees Hall twins Sarah and Shawn as she bows down and gives them respect.

[Alex] You said you killed him.

[Sarah] Umm.... more like metaphorically.

Sarah didn't wanted to waste her time so she looks in Enzo's memories and finds out that he is in New Orleans. She also tries to call Kane but none of them connects so she did a location spell on Kane to find him and successfully rescue him and then she does a location spell on Rayner and finds out that he is in the Bayou.

AT BAYOU

Sarah, Shawn and Kane are hiding in the woods so no one can see them as they are seeing Ray is talking to Mary and Hayley.

[Shawn] I can't hear them.... I'm going closer.

[Sarah] No you can't they will recognize you.

[Shawn] Not if I look like this.

Shawn shape shift into Ellie and approaches Ray with confidence but he finds out that he is not Ellie reason she is a vampire and don't have any heart beat but because Shawn is a werewolf he have a beating heart.

Ray punches Shawn on face as in anger Shawn turns into a six feet werewolf and hits Ray with claws sending him into deep lake.
