PETER P.O.V.

He is listening to all the ideas his witches are giving him but none of them were doing any progress.

"What if we link his life to someone who can be easily killed?" A witch asks at which Peter frowns and breaks the glass in his hand in anger.

"Are you for real...Do you really think that I didn't have done it before or don't you know anything about our bloodline...we can only be linked with our mates and Rayner's mate can only be found by him," Peter says and asks them to leave.

Peter then remembers the time when he finally decided to kill Ray when he was seventeen.

[FLASHBACK]

Ray walks into his room after he again froze Solomon after their training together and sees Peter staring at the pictures of ARC's vampire victims.

"Hey Chaos," Peter says at which Ray didn't reply and raised his eyebrow.

"That's what witches are calling you nowadays...chaos" Peter adds.

"Oh really... it's weird because what mom told me that few witches asked her to ask me that I should start adding witches to the ARC." Ray says mocking Peter.

"What are you doing here?...and if you are here to make me apologize to Solomon that is not going to happen" Ray adds.

Peter was about to speak when he sees a tattoo on Ray's left arm.

"What is that?" Peter questions pointing his finger on Ray's arms.

"Oh, this is the symbol of my pack...arc of the moon, it symbolizes the union of opposites...impossible which becomes possible," Ray says looking at the symbol.

It was a circle in which a curve was drawn looking like a crescent moon.

"Remove it," Peter says coldly.

"I won't, " Ray replies without hesitation.

"You are a Hall...that's what you are supposed to be loyal to...not some disparage," Peter says with anger in his voice.

"ARC is my pack and I'll be loyal to it till my last breath" Ray replies boldly despite Peter's raging behavior.

Suddenly, Ray starts feeling a burn on his left arm where the tattoo was.

When Ray looks at his arm, the tattoo was gone. He turns and sees Sarah sitting on the chair smiling wickedly.

"What did you do?" Ray asks in anger.

"I used a spell to remove that tattoo," Sarah says keeping her wicked smile.

Ray in anger closes his eyes and starts chanting a spell and Sarah and Peter fall on the ground and start screaming but suddenly a voice comes in Ray's ears and Ray stops.

"What are you doing Rayner?" Arthur asks worriedly.

"Grandfather...Sarah removed the symbol of my pack from my arm" Ray exclaims.

Arthur knew who's fault it is as he looks at Peter.

"I have an announcement to do...call Shawn...he needs to be here before the sunset," Arthur says.

Ray and Sarah look at each other with shock and asks Arthur at the same time"You are choosing the Heir tonight?".

"Yes...I am" Arthur says and leaves.

Ray and Sarah were excited to know who is going to be the heir while Peter was angrier than ever because he already knew who Arthur is going to choose.

[FLASHBACK ENDS]

After a few minutes, Peter gets a call from Alex.

"Did you found it? " Peter asks.

"You said a girl named Elena Gilbert has the cure and according to my sources, she was supposed to be in Brooklyn... in a warehouse... " Alex starts explaining but gets interrupted by Peter"Did you get it ".

"No," Alex says.

"All of my men who were there came empty-handed and security footage shows that Stefan Salvatore got both his brother and Elena Gilbert out of there...but I guess he is coming back to Mystic Falls by his recent appearances on the highway".

" Rayner is planning something serious and I need to know about it and you should too because we both are risking our lives," Peter says with concern.

"My men told me that Jeremy Gilbert is in town...he is Elena Gilbert's brother so what you say?".

" Kidnap him...get Elena Gilbert...take out the cure from her and when Rayner comes...hit him with it but be careful because if Rayner lost his immortality, he will be a witch again and believe me you don't wanna taste his magic," Peter says.

"We are on it," Alex says and cuts the call.

[MIKAELSON COMPOUND]

"This is not going to happen...there is no way on this earth that you are getting that man out of the dungeon" Freya exclaims.

"Freya I need help as I can get because despite having my brother as leverage...my father attacked me twice once from the front and once from behind in just a one day, believe me if I haven't thought about it at first place then I never would have brought it to you now at 4 a.m." Ray explains.

"Then tell me how you are not going to be played by Lucian when you can't even keep your family from stabbing you from behind," Freya asks.

"And why you are not saying anything" Freya questions Klaus.

"Because I agree with him," Klaus says shocking Freya for a moment but then she realizes that what Ray has done with Klaus.

"You compelled him...didn't you," Freya asks Ray at which Ray says nothing but nodded.

"Can't believe it" Freya says and leads them to the dungeon.

On their way to dungeon, Ray remembers something and calls Enzo.

Enzo picks it up and like Ray was assuming he hears a steady heartbeat around him.

"Hey...what is it now?" Enzo asks.

"I was thinking of ways to kill Alex and I came up with one of the best...heart attack"

"So where it includes me?" Enzo asks another question.

"You need to bring Bonnie Bennett back to Mystic Falls," Ray says shocking Enzo because no one other than Caroline knows that Enzo is keeping Bonnie safe but she doesn't know either where exactly Enzo is keeping Bonnie.

"How'd you know?"

"Is that really a question...then you don't exactly know who I am Lorenzo...bring her back because I'll be there in a few hours and I have an offer for her and you" Ray says and cuts the call.

Ray, Freya, and Klaus gets in the dungeon where they see Lucian sitting in the circle.

Lucian was shocked seeing Klaus there and quickly asks"How long it has been?".

"Seven years...I have kids now...they call you Luca" Ray says sarcastically.

"Oh, Hey Nik, How ya doin?" Lucian says.

"We don't have much time so let's start it...I am getting you out but in only one case that you will work for me and you also can be a first member of the ARC 2.0... if you are interested then agree with all our terms or you can live the rest of your miserable life in here" Ray says.

"Okay...I agree... what I have to do?" Lucian agrees without listening to the terms.

"Okay then...Freya... pull the spell up" Ray says.

But instead of pulling the spell Freya takes out a dagger from out of nowhere.

"If you tried to trick any of my friends, believe me, this will be right inside your black heart and yeah it can kill you " Freya warns Lucian.

"Okay," Lucian says and Freya pulls the spell up.
