The Akuma

After informing the authorities of what had happened Furuichi returned to his home as he took a seat on his settee breathing a sigh of relief as he did so, his eyes were weary as his arms looked heavy as if they were extremely heavy weights signifying his exhaustion.

Though to truly overpower him they'd need to be at least 2-3 ton, since that was the current peak of what he could lift in his base form without the need of any fruit.

Every time he ingested a fruit his base stats also increased slowly and now he was simply superhuman.

-A Few Days Later:-

"*Sigh, I feel so tired after all that fighting and even my rest seems to fail me- I've healed yet my mental fatigue, is still there."

"But so be it, Shiori show me the news..."

Hearing this his little assistant did as she was told however, she could feel that her master wasn't feeling well as evidenced when he called her "Shiori" instead of "Shi-chan"

While the little robotic sentient being put up the news she also thought of ways to calm her master down.

Though no solution came to mind, as she looked down in sadness.

Furuichi's eyes seemed to be bloodshot as he hadn't been to sleep for nearly 120 hours.

"Master I don't think your escapades as a Superhero are proving to be fruitful, just look at you... Your state your condition its as if you've burned yourself out."

"At first I helped you out as I wanted no obstacles to trap you and drag you down but now I can't... I think it's time for a rest, leave these issues to the people paid to fight against them."

Once finished she looked determinedly at her master with serious led eyes as she displayed a pouting emoji.

Furuichi seeing this couldn't help but remember all those nights he fought and patrolled the streets, at first this whole gig as a superhero was one of satisfaction and of duty.

Think about it he's been given the inheritance of the Universes Guardian surely anyone with that kind of responsibility will work hard not to mention Furuichi quite liked pop culture anyway.

So for him this was a plus plus, but gradually his health dwindled as all he'd do was fight against criminals straight after school and this often lead to long nights and even days with no sleep and 120 hours was his new record.

He knew Shi-chan was right she was by his side every step of the way however without him multiple murders, arsons and **** would occur without him.

His powers gave him this perk of doing what the police couldn't do, seeing what the law couldn't see and hearing what the people couldn't hear.

He was the one and only warrior protecting Kurama City, no one else was of the same wave length.

But the reason for his five nighter was because he'd been researching a case where all the evidence seemed to have disappeared out of nowhere.

As if the one who did this was an Evolved, yes Evolved as the media dubbed him and other freak accidents around the world.

He was given a new race rather a new sub race of humanity was created called the Evolved, as multiple other powered humans(?) began appearing in the limelight a few months after his existence was revealed to the world.

And he could tell that the one who committed the recent murders was clearly an Evolved like him, no way in hell was this just a regular human- it couldn't be it wouldn't be that wouldn't make sense.

The last pictures he saw of the crime scene was a carcass with sharp claw marks ripped against its abdominals.

And the only animal capable of that was a wolf, but there were no wolves within the city especially Kurama City which was on the coast of the Federation.

'It's obvious that what caused this was an Evolved with a power-set equivalent to a Wolf's though much much more powerful as evident by the killings.'

And not to mention that a few other murders had suspicious marks on the grounds where the corpses spilt blood as if their bodies were combusted into dust and ash and nothing more.

This gave him a headache as when he just wanted to take a rest something just had to happen in his vicinity, but like his favourite characters uncle said "With Great Power, Also Comes Great Responsibility."

He couldn't just abandon his city, no he had to find out the real reason of all these murders and solve them as quick as possible to help his city and honour his duties.

He was a mix of both science and magic, he was a mix of both brawn and brains, he was the Earth's... No Universes defender and it was his destiny to destroy all that aligned itself with evil- he was Itsuka Furuichi the guardian devil, the one and the only Akuma of Earth, the Cosmos' Guardian Devil.
