The Alchemist of Harry Potter

Chapter four hundred and ninety-eight of washing cats

"Tom, don't run around, you've soiled the floor."

Nia hurried out of the bathroom wearing an apron, glaring at the fat cat in the hall who kept trying to get under the sofa, but got stuck.

"Meow meow meow!"

After Tom was picked up, a shrill cry echoed in the hall. Most cats don't like bathing very much, and Tom is no exception.

However, for Nia, who likes cleanliness, if her cat doesn't take a good bath, she will never run into her room.

God knows how much money Tom has gotten himself into living in that old castle, maybe with fleas all over him.

"It's useless to bark, you have to wash it today, otherwise you won't be able to eat dried fish in the future." Nia put her hands on her hips and glared at the fat cat who had just broken free and slid into the sofa.

"Albert, Albert, come down and help."

Nia walked to the stairs and called to Albert upstairs.

The door creaked open, and Albert put down his half-finished homework and went downstairs wearing his boots.

As soon as he entered the hall, Albert saw Nia squatting in front of the sofa, dragging a pair of cat paws with both hands, trying to pull Tom out of the sofa.

"What's wrong." Albert saw the water on the ground, then looked at Nia, who was wearing an apron, and asked, "Are you going to bathe Tom?"

"Come here and help." Nia urged, "That guy is so dirty, and he actually wanted to run into my room last night, I'm really mad at me."

"Move the sofa first." Albert said, "Come and help."

"Don't you know how to use magic?" Nia let go of Tom's claws and went over to help move the sofa together, but she still complained dissatisfiedly: "This should be easy for you!"

"You can't use magic at home," Albert explained. "You should know that."

The two moved the sofa together, and Albert took advantage of Tom to get back into the sofa and picked up the whole cat. However, the clothes were also wet from the water on Tom's body.

"It's really troublesome, don't let people use magic, so what's the use of learning magic?" Nia went into the bathroom with Albert.

This time, Nia closed the bathroom door, giving Tom no chance to slip away.

Albert looked at the puffed Nia and said with a smile, "It's really troublesome not to be able to use it."

"You must have never bathed Tom at school!"

"I washed it a few times, but I didn't wash it for Tom." Albert put Tom back in the bathtub, and the fat cat struggled in the water immediately, but he didn't like to touch the water. When he was about to bathe Tom, he struggled even more, and if anyone had heard his shrill cry, he would have thought they were cruelty to animals.

"That won't work, wait a moment." Albert put down Tom and walked out of the bathroom.

"What are you doing?" Nia asked suspiciously.

"Get some food for Tom to settle down."

"If the food works, I don't have to ask you to help." Nia muttered, she had already tried it just now, and it didn't work at all.

Albert came back soon, and actually only took a small dried fish.

"It's useless"

However, Nia soon discovered that Tom, who had eaten the dried fish, was quiet. It should be said that he seemed to be... asleep?

"I added a small amount of potion to the dried fish. Well, let's help Tom take a bath as soon as possible!" Albert noticed Nia's surprised expression and explained it casually. He reached out to help support Tom's head, and let Nia put the shampoo on the fat cat.

Even if Tom is quiet, bathing a cat is still a big project.

Twenty minutes later, Albert walked out of the bathroom with Tom wrapped in a towel, and then fed it some water with vitality potion to wake the cat prince.

"I'm really exhausted."

Nia looked at Tom, who was shaking his fat body, with resentment on his face. Albert was using a hairdryer to help Tom dry the water on his body.

"Go and rest for a while when you're tired!" Albert turned Tom over and blew his belly.

"No, let me come."

Nia took the hairdryer from Albert's hand and rubbed Tom, who was lying on the towel, back and forth.

"Tom is getting fatter and I thought you would help him lose weight."

"It's not easy to make a fat man lose weight." Albert said helplessly.

So far, the task of losing weight for Tom is still hanging on the task panel.

Albert took out two bottles of homemade bubble tea from the refrigerator, handed one of them to Nia, and asked, "How was your life in school, did you make good friends?"

"Of course."

Nia raised her chin and said, "Jenny, Shirley...Well, what are you asking about?"

"It's nothing, just ask casually." Albert put the bubble tea on the table and went back to the room to change his clothes.

"By the way, I heard Herb say he wants to promote this."

"They don't plan to be lawyers, they plan to open a milk tea shop?" Albert asked with a smile.

"No." Nia shook her head and said, "It seems that Uncle Charlie is interested in bubble tea."

Charlie is Daisy's younger brother, a half-baked chef who is said to have opened a restaurant in London dedicated to British cuisine.

As for the taste.

Well, the Andersons never went to that Uncle Charlie's restaurant anyway.

"Well, Uncle Charlie asked me a while ago, what do you like?" Nia glanced at Albert secretly, and said with a weird expression: "It seems that she is coming to discuss this with you."

"Negotiate with me?"

"The suggestion that Daisy gave, let Uncle Charlie come over and talk to you in person." Nia put down the cup and picked up the hair dryer again to blow Tom's tail.

"She probably thinks that Uncle Charlie's head is not as good as you, and he is not as smart as you in certain matters, and needs your advice."

"Why didn't Daisy tell me directly?" Albert never imagined that he would be the one to promote bubble tea to the UK.

"You're just on vacation, Daisy doesn't want to disturb you for the time being, and you're not short of money, as long as you're willing to buy any lottery ticket, you can win the lottery." Nia pulled Tom back, who was about to slip away.

Let Nia tell Albert about this, just to get a shot first.

After dinner, Daisy spoke to Albert herself about it.

Of course, if Charlie wants to make money with bubble tea, he naturally has to pay a price.

Probably 20% profit.

Of course they knew that Albert wouldn't be short of money, but Herb and Daisy didn't really want Albert to make money through the lottery.

After all, this kind of thing is too frequent, and it will always be discovered one day.

Albert agreed.

He also found that Daisy adhered to the habit of lawyers in some aspects, and even his own brother would not be soft-hearted.

In Daisy's words, whether you need it is one thing, and whether you give it or not is another.
