The Alpha King's Mate

Alexander's POV

"You have to mark her now"

My father's words had me stopped for a moment. What he said repeatedly played in my head.

"Then what are we waiting for?" Rigidly said my wolf.

I creased my brows with a tight-lipped looking at my mate. I had never thought nor didn't imagine that I'll mark my mate in a situation like this. Never in my greatest dream that this will happen. Marking her without her even knowing. I had dreamed that I will mark my mate by her will and that she would accept me wholeheartedly and proudly show off my mark to everyone.

But if I mark her now and that she would live surely and knowing that I had mark her she would be hurt and feel ashamed, she just might think it that I had only mark her just to save her life and not because to be my mate, but to save her.

'If that what it needs to save her then I'll do it to bring her back.'

Glancing back at my father, he patted my back. His eyes telling me what it needs to be done with a tight smile. Then I look at my mother and nudge her head at me in approval. Then they both stand up and step aside, giving me some privacy and a moment to mark my mate.

My wolf and I, we both feel nervous and scared at the same time.

What if it didn't work? What if she didn't still wake up after we had mark her? What if--

"Damn those 'What IF's!' Just do it! Mark her now!" My wolf said franticaly.

Not wasting anymore time, I leaned down on her and slightly tilt her head to the side to gain more access of her neck. Breathing deeply and inhaling her scent which was so intoxicating.

"Okay, this is it!" Eagerly whispered my wolf.

I hold her tight and whispered to her 'I'm sorry' before marking her and solemnly closed my eyes.

As I open them, Golden irisis are fully dilate, my canines elongated and slowly I leaned closer and bite down my teeth on her delicate skin. Tingles abruptly explode inside me upon sinking in my canines at her neck. Sparks crawled all over my body. A warmth sensation filled me as I deepened more of my mark on her. Something alive and different feeling has awaken somewhere inside me. My wolf vigorously felt more alive and more spirited. My body felt more stronger and more solid. Then something enticing and intense power swirled inside me. Something powerful was forming inside us of our wolf.

A sudden gust of wind swiftly emerge out of nowhere, rustling the trees around. Everything around me suddenly felt more lively.

And slowly I widraw my canines on her. Before pulling away I gently laid a kiss on her neck where I had marked her. Blood drifted down my chin and I simply wiped it off.

"Now, we have to wait for her to wake up and come back to us" my wolf said patiently.

I look down at the shewolf in my arms. This is the shewolf that the Moon Goddess had destined me to be with.

She's now mine! My mate!

'So, please open those beautiful eyes that I've been longing to see. Wake up now and come back to me. Come back to us..'

I patiently waited for her or for anything that should happen right after I had marked her. I held her body tight and prayed for her. I silently prayed to the Moon Goddess that my marked would save her life.

And then I sensed Paul's arrival with him was a two wolf which I assume their are the doctors. They stopped right behind my father and mother with a buffled look on their faces but I didn't bothered to glance at them.

Instead I look up above and saw the moon was just right above me. Glowing magnificently and it is unusualy big tonight. Staring at it felt like it's pulling me towards it. I can sense it's aura and energy radiating all over the place. And then I can't stop my wolf to let out a powerful needy howl towards the moon.

I felt Paul and the two doctors kneeled down, even my father and my mother knelt down behind me. Their wolf submitting and also howled up above along with me. And then one by one I heard more roars and howls that resonates somewhere. I felt the whole kingdom resounded with howls.

'What those howls are for? What is happening?'

And that's when I felt something stirred inside me. An intense yet cool sensation is slowly making it's way inside me. It floats and swirls around and stopped at the center of my heart. Then it suddenly burst like a fireworks exploded into the night sky, painting the sky with beautiful different colors. The power radiating and forming inside at the center of my heart filling up my body with different sensations. My wolf eagerly howled inside me, reaching for the mysterious sensation that's entering inside us.

Then a beautiful white wolf emerge out behind that aura of sensation and slowly floated and stopped infront of my wolf.

And that's when I look down at my mate. Slowly her eyelid move and her eyes fluttered open. She takes in a deep breathed and I felt that she hold it in for a sec with her eyes franticaly wide and then she look up to me and released her breathed that she was holding. Her eyes was searching for something in me, her tears slowly welled up.

My heart was instantly captured by her. My wolf wildly stir inside me, welcoming the white wolf.

Her mate.

The cool sensation and powerful aura radiating inside me was our bond. It sparks and was very electrified and very alive glowing right at my center. Everything in me felt more different than it used to.

And it's because of her!

And marking her had really saved her! My mark had give her more strength and more power to her wolf.

"You came back. You're alive."

It is incredibly amazing how true mates work. How a true mark could do to a two wolfs that was destined to be together for eternity.

And that was us.

"You and me are true mates" I breathelessly said to her. I softly c.a.r.e.s.s her cheek and bent down.

And I kiss her.

I kiss her with all of my heart. My heart was filled with unexplainable feeling of joy, of excitement and intense feeling that bursting all over my body.

This time I kiss her passionately. Lovingly. Pouring all the feeling I have right now into this kiss. I wanted her to feel what I felt towards her. I kiss her while our eyes looking intensely at each other.

I felt her tears rolled down her cheeks. I didn't expect for her to kiss me inreturn but then she did.

She kiss me back.

And then we both closed our eyes. I held her closer to me and held her more tighter. She wrapped her hands on my shoulder and we kissed.

At first it was just a passionate kiss but then it goes deeper. My body felt alive with jolts of electricity raging inside me. My wolf and her wolf giddily swirled and howling inside us. Our bond grow more vibrant and more pwerful uniting as one.

We were both lost in our kiss until someone cleared it's throat interrupting us and had my mind jolt back. I almost forgot, my father and mother were with us, as well as Paul and the doctors.

I opened my eyes and I force myself to pull my mouth away from her. I didn't want the kiss to end but it was enough for now. My eyes intensely look at her, both of us catching our breath, c.h.e.s.t heaving up and down. Staring at her eyes, I saw a glint of happiness and not regret. I bit my lip and look down on her slightly parted lips that were now a bit swollen from our kiss. Instantly her face turned red and consciously averted her eyes then she let go of her hands at my shoulder.

Amusingly, I smiled at her and turn my head behind me to glance at my father and my mother. My father had a genuine smile on him beside him is my mother which was crying!

"I'm happy for you, son." She tenderly said while crying. My father gathered her mate in his arms and kisses her forehead. Then my mother look up to him.

"Oh dear! We're going to be a grandma and grandpa soon!" She then cheerfully said and glance back at me.

My eyes went wide at what she had said while I felt my mate rigidly stir in my arms clutching her heart.

I bewilderedly look at my mother and she had a questioning look back at me and to my father.

"What?" Confused at her ownself.

I saw Paul stifling a laugh behind them and shakes his head at me. I glared at him but then his eyes softened with relief and I smiled back.

"I guess we aren't needed here. I'm glad Alex that you had save her. And finally you had your mate. Our Luna Queen" Paul said to me through the mindlink.

And then he bow down at me and to my mate along with the two doctors and walk back inside the castle.

On the other hand my father once again cleared his throat and nudge his head at me and to my mate. No words needed to be spoken for I already know deep in my heart what they wanted to say. But still I mouth to him 'Thank you' before they also turn their back on me and also went back inside the castle leaving me and my mate alone.
