The Best Shinobi

Beni suddenly collapsed which made Menma control his emotions. He let out a deep breath and bowed his head.

"I am sorry. I just get emotional whenever I remember this."

Hearing his words, nobody said anything. They just helped Beni and looked into his eyes.

Hinata who saw Naruto crying couldn't help but reach him. It was sudden courage but Menma was shocked when Hinata support Naruto while he was crying.

Menma raised his hand and punched Naruto's shoulder.

"Idiot, don't cry! I am only angry because you are my friend. If others knew about this, they would be angry too."

Menma finally turned his head at the others and continued "I don't want you to start caring for Naruto because of what I will say nor do I want you to use that reason to be his friend."

"You are already his friend. You just fear how others or rather your parents will treat you if you call him your friend. But, this should give you a reason to not care about it."

"Remember when I told you that Uzumaki was the one who created the Sealing Jutsu? Well, ten years ago, Nine Tails Fox, the monster who almost destroyed the Konoha was released."

"It almost destroyed the Konoha. But, Nine-Tails has sealed once again. And, this time, it was sealed inside Naruto because Naruto was the only Uzumaki in the village and he was just born at that time."

"So, the nine tail was sealed inside him. Uzumaki Clan sealing Jutsu and Naruto's existence saved the Konoha. To be fair, Naruto should be the hero but some higher-ups want to shift the blame for the damage to the village to someone else."

"And, who would be better than a person who had a monster that almost destroyed the village? There are many details that I left untouched. Everyone was shocked to hear his words. They had no idea such a thing happened when they were small. It shocked them so much so that they didn't know what to do.

They didn't know how to feel about Naruto. At this moment, Shikamaru suddenly raised a question.

"Menma, there is something I don't understand. Why do you reveal so much information about Naruto? I am not doubting your friendship. But, why did you want to tell us this?"

"Having ten people to know Naruto and become his friend, does it make any difference? After all, no matter what you say, the villagers won't stop hating him, right?"

Hearing his words, others didn't understand except Menma. His eyes widened as a big smile appeared on his lips.

"Hahaha! Nara clan! You guys are truly amazing for having such a high IQ. Just from some guesses, you could even make your hypothesis. Hah! You are right. I do have an agenda for revealing this information."

"Summoning Jutsu!"

Suddenly, a scroll appeared in his hand after he used the summoning Jutsu. Everyone was surprised once again. Menma put the scroll on the table and slowly unfolded it.

It had some drawings and some texts.

"During two years, I stumbled upon an ancient scroll. That scroll was so ancient that I could only figure out a few words. Although my theory could be wrong, the reason why Naruto's chakra is so immense despite being Half-Uzumaki has something to do with Nine Tails."

"It means the seal inside Naruto is weakening and from what I have found, Nine Tails has been revered as the Embodiment of Hatred. Although it is just a guess, what if the seal is weakening because of Naruto's anger or hate."

"The more anger and hate Naruto released, the weaker that seal will be. And, the whole village already hates Naruto, so I was afraid that Naruto might get consumed by hatred and fully manifest the Nine Tails."

"Of course, Naruto won't just go and talk to every person in the village. He will only talk to a few and you guys are those people. That means as long as you guys don't hate Naruto, there will be fewer chances that he will get consumed by hatred."

"Of course, this is not my hidden agenda."

Suddenly, another scroll appeared in his hand and he put it on the table. He looked at everyone and said "All of us are from the same generation. This is why I am sharing this with you guys."

"And, since this is just a hypothesis, I hope you won't tell this anyone. And, Naruto, this is what I found about your mother."

When he said that, Naruto instantly moved closer to Menma as he looked at the scroll but didn't find anything about his mother. But, his eyes landed on one name.

Kushina Uzumaki!

This name made him feel emotional.

Menma sighed and said "Ten years ago when Naruto was born, the nine-tail beast attacked. But, how could it attack the village when it was sealed inside the previous Uzumaki?"

"The previous person who had Nine Tails was Kushina Uzumaki, Naruto's mother. When she gave birth to Naruto, the seal should've been weakened but it shouldn't be so weak that it would let out the Nine-Tails, right?"

"I mean if that was possible, she shouldn't be allowed to give birth. This is common sense. That means the only reason Nine Tail would've escaped from her would be the interference of someone else."

"We don't know this person. I didn't find a single record about this person. But, I can't think of any other explanation behind this. And, there is something else that you must know about Naruto."

"His status is known as 'Jinchuriki'. From the information I have learned, there have been people around the world who have the tailed beast inside them, and these people are called 'Jinchuriki' also known as a War Weapon."

"They are normally forced to master the power of their tailed beast. But, at the same time, in every village, yes, not just in Konoha, but every village, Jinchuriki are treated with hatred."

"Hah! Man, I truly believe this is the fault of clans like Uchiha and Hyuga."

At this moment, Hinata and Sasuke felt a bit personal. Hinata didn't say anything but Sasuke shouted.

Hearing his words, Naruto clenched his fist as he didn't know what to say.

Menma took out another scroll and put it on the table.

"So, I searched even more frantically and find out about him. Jinchuriki of the Eight-Tails, the only Jinchuriki who has the perfect control over the Tail Beast."

"So, my guess is simple. I believe that Kushina wanted Naruto to get the power of Nine Tails to fight against the person who freed Nine Tails from her."

At this moment, Naruto suddenly went blank as his consciousness entered a sewer. He looked around as he was confused.

"Brat, come here!"

A voice called him. Naruto looked around and his body trembled a little but Naruto wasn't someone who would be afraid of anything. He walked toward the direction from where the voice came and saw a giant prison.

Behind that prison, he saw a dark figure with red eyes. Naruto clenched his fist and asked, "Are you that monster inside me?"

"Brat, I won't talk any nonsense with you. Go out and tell that brat that he is correct. Kushina indeed wanted you to get my powers but it is impossible. As for his other guess, it is correct as well."

"There was a person who freed me and controlled me with those dammed Sharingan. And, he is still alive. Soon, that bastard will return and kill your village."
