Leaving Konoha Village

After talking to Guy for a moment, Menma realized that he had to escape otherwise he felt like he would drown in the tears of a big man.

He quickly escaped and returned to his home. By the time, he had returned, it was already evening.

The sun was about to set and his mother was cooking dinner in the kitchen. He simply said hello to his mom and walked toward his room. But, he was suddenly caught by his mother and forced to cook alongside him.

She told him that he was getting too consumed with Ninjutsu and forgot about his family.

Menma also felt a similar thing so he decided to help his mother in the kitchen. After chatting and having dinner with his family, he finally felt refreshed so he decided to continue his study about Flying Thunder God Jutsu.

Menma walked out of his house with a bag on his back. At the door, his father and mother were standing with sad expressions on their faces.

“Alright, mom, dad, I am leaving.”

“Damn guy, we just became a team and now you are leaving. How can we go on a mission with you?”

Suddenly, Jena came forward and pulled him away. She nodded her head at Menma and said.

“I will definitely practice them and get stronger. No matter how hard it might be, I will complete my dream.”

Menma smiled and nodded his head.

“I know. You will succeed.”

Then, he finally turned his head to Genma who took out a scroll and passed it to him.

“This records all of the experiences that Lord Fourth gave us about Flying Thunder God Jutsu. Hopefully, you can use it well.”

Saying so, he patted Menma’s shoulder and smiled.

Holding the scroll in his hand, Menma took a deep breath and looked at Genma with serious eyes.

“I will definitely succeed.”

“I might not be able to complete any mission with you for the next two years, Sensei. But, I will definitely arrive before Chunin Exam to complete some missions with you.”

After Menma turned around and left, Genma also turned around.

Everyone else who was passing by looked at him with weird gazes making him turn red in embarrassment.

Menma smiled and finally turned around, leaving the village on his own. At this moment, two guards of the village looked at them with some emotion.

Menma walked for around two hours until he eventually came across a forest. Crossing this forest would lead him to the town where Tsunade was staying.

But, of course, this forest was quite big so it would take at least two or three days to cross it.

Menma had already brought some food pills and also a proper tent. So, he wasn’t worried about spending the night inside the forest. So, he continued to run at normal speed.
