Chakra Devouring Jutsu

When she heard his words, Tsunade’s body trembled for a moment. The images of Nawaki and Dan kept appearing in her mind.

Both of them were the most important people in her life and both of them are dead. Not to mention, both of them were good people.

But, Menma didn’t let her feel sad for a long time. He immediately continued.

“Besides, I am not going to use this Jutsu against my friends or people of my village. And, even if they are from another village, unless they threaten the life of mine or my friends, I will never use this technique against them.”

“Teacher, you have gone through two wars. You have seen thousands of people die, some of them were your loved ones. When they die in front of you, don’t you always question yourself?”

“Only if I was stronger? Only if I was best at it? Only if I wasn’t late? These regrets keep haunting you. You haven’t come out of hemophobia and because of that, you can’t perform surgery anymore.”

“Teacher, I don’t want to ever face such regrets. There are many important people in my life. I don’t want to lose them. And, if you are still worried about me turning into evil, then you have to remember.”

“I have a goal. I want to become the Best Shinobi. To become such a shinobi, you not only need strength but also reputation. So, obviously, I can’t turn evil.”

After speaking everything he could say, he finally closed his mouth and stared at her. Tsunade was no longer revealing her Chakra. She just stared at him for a long time while remembering the death of her brother and her lover.

At this moment, she didn’t know what to say. She knew this kind of practice could let him turn evil but she didn’t want to stop him now.

After a lot of consideration, she finally asked.

“Menma, promise me one thing. In this life, you will never use this Jutsu against your friends even if they try to kill you.”

Menma was surprised by her words. After all, he just said that he will kill anyone who threatens him or his friends.

But, what if it was his friend that threatens him? Once he used this Jutsu against his friend, what’s stopping him from using it against others?

“Teacher, I promise. I will never use this Jutsu to consume the body of my friend.”

“Although I said I will use this against my enemies, we don’t have enemies right now. We might find few during our missions but there is no war. And, when the war starts, it might be too late to improve my strength.”

“So, I have planned to use the Chakra of Tailed Beast. Normally, it would be impossible to fuse with their Chakra unless you are their Jinchuriki.”

“But, I have a method that allows me to steal some of Tailed Beast Chakra, then completely separates its Will and Chakra. Refine Chakra into Physical Energy and Spiritual Energy, then absorb it in my body.”

“This way, the Will of a Tailed Beast won’t affect me nor do I have to worry about killing other people. Naruto is slowly learning to control his Tailed Beast Chakra so if I ask for his help, he won’t hesitate.”

“And, if Teacher is worried about me harming Naruto, you can reassure. He is my best friend. I might fight the whole village for him but I will never hurt him.”

At this moment, he couldn’t help but remember two times when Naruto saved him. The first one was when he took the knife for him. And, then, if it wasn’t enough, he took the impact that could shatter his bones.

Thinking about those moments, Menma couldn’t help but feel happy. He was extremely happy to have Naruto as his friend.

He didn’t notice that Tsunade was watching him closely. Seeing that expression on his face, she finally calmed down.

“Alright! You are smart but also a good person. I believe you won’t hurt your friends.”

Saying so, she took out a scroll and passed it to him.

“This records both Strengths of the Hundred Seals and Creation Rebirth Jutsu. If you encounter any difficulties, don’t hesitate to ask me.”

Seeing her agree, Menma’s eyes widened and a smile appeared on his face. He took the scroll.

“Thank you, teacher!”

“Alright then, I am leaving.” Saying so, Tsunade stood up and left the room. She walked back to her room while Menma opened the scroll.

‘Once I create Chakra Devouring Jutsu, I will be able to increase my Chakra Reserve. Then, not only I will be able to perform many other Ninjutsu but also Flying Thunder God Jutsu.’

‘And, I can’t forget. I must develop a Jutsu that disintegrates organs into Chakra and merge this Jutsu with my Chakra Devouring Jutsu. Only then, I will be able to reach the ultimate of this world.’

‘But even so, that future is too far ahead. I have too many things to do.’

From this day forward, Menma started focusing on Chakra Devouring Jutsu. First, to create this Jutsu, he must devise the reverse of the Strength of the Hundred Seals.

Chakra is created out of Physical Energy and Spiritual Energy. So, to use Chakra, one needs to concentrate his mind to produce enough Chakra in his body.

Seals are developed to summon and mold chakra. Although Chakra is present inside one’s body, it didn’t mean that it can easily manipulate. Unless you have high chakra control, it would be hard to manipulate Chakra without seals.

So, seals are developed to mold chakra in a way that it could perform Ninjutsu.

Strength of the Hundred Seals keeps absorbing the Chakra that isn’t used by the user. Since Tsunade is no longer required to fight or use Charka, her Chakra keeps flowing into the seal.

In order to reverse it, he must take Strength of the Hundred Seals one step forward and include the refining of physical energy and spiritual energy into chakra.

Once he is done with that, he can then change the way it works. So, instead of refining physical energy and spiritual energy into Chakra, he could focus on separating Chakra into Physical Energy and Spiritual Energy.

Since he didn’t want to keep his mind focused on it, he had to develop it and merge it with the seal itself. So, whenever he had excessive Chakra inside his seal, it would separate the Chakra into physical energy and spiritual energy.

Then, merge it with his body.

Physical energy nourishes the body while spiritual energy nourishes the soul. Once both are strengthened, it could increase the amount of Chakra produced inside his body.

But, it didn’t mean that his Chakra Reserve is increased. Only when that chakra is absorbed back into the seal and then returned to his body through constant circulation, his Chakra Reserve will increase.

It’s like blood flow gets better. Only by regular exercise, the flow of one’s blood can be regularly maintained. The training of Chakra was similar.

Of course, to do this, he needed to create two separate spaces inside the seal. One space would store Chakra, and break it into physical energy and spiritual energy.

While the other space would absorb the Chakra from his body and then release it back, constantly.

Naturally, it would be impossible if his physical energy and spiritual energy can’t be increased. After all, increasing reserve means increasing these two energies.

Otherwise, Tsunade would have increased her Chakra Reserve by now.

As for disintegrating the organs into Chakra, it would be a different Jutsu that needs to be merged with it. But unlike the previous method, this will create a special Chakra from the organs.

For example, if the Sharingan is absorbed, disintegrated, and turned into Chakra, it would be a special Chakra of Sharingan. And, instead of storing it inside his body, it would be transformed with his life signature.

And, then starts merging with his body organs thus giving birth to Dojutsu.

So, unlike Kakashi’s Sharingan which takes a heavy toll on his body, this Jutsu will give the natural birth to Dojutsu. After all, Dojutsu was basically created out of a special chakra.

Uchiha’s brain releases a special Chakra when they suffer tremendous loss, thus awakening Sharingan. But, what if he simply changes the Sharingan back to that special Chakra and absorbs it into his eyes?

Wouldn’t he be able to awaken Sharingan like a natural Uchiha?

That being said, creating such Jutsu was no simple task. If he hadn’t perfected his Sealing Jutsu and had these amazing ideas in his mind, he could never create such Jutsu.

So, he will definitely do everything to create these Jutsu. After all, his future lies in these Jutsu.
