The Birth of a Villainess

Lin Xiaofei twisted the jade bangle in her hand as the auction downstairs continued. The continuous flow of items that was brought out to the stage was countless but nevertheless, everything was successfully sold. 

But the previous items weren't what she was looking for. 

It was the same items that Qu Xing Xu managed to bring to her courtyard last night.

As the auction was coming to its climax, the announcer decided to step up the game and decided to bring out three items to the stage. 

The items were stored inside a glass where one would be able to see the items inside.

"Now, before our main leads are brought out in this stage! These three items will surely make everyone's eyes bulge out in excitement!" The auction announcer shouted at the top of his lungs to make everyone hear every word he said.

Three men stepped onto the stage and started to reveal the items. 

At first, no one seemed to be impressed as these items looked to be so ordinary. However, the announcer already expected this thus, he decided to speak at this moment.

He walked towards the closest item to him and started to say, "For our first item. We have the earring of the first man Kizaku who ruled the sea!"

Gasps and murmurs started to flood inside the action house as soon as they heard the name of the first sea emperor. Kizaku might not be a real emperor but his rule in the sea was not something that anyone could contend against with!

He managed to sink one hundred pirate sh.i.p.s and even made the powerful emperors of the lands cower in fear.

However, there were countless rumors surrounding this sea emperor. It was about his real origin and what kind of a man he was.

Rumour has it that Kizaku was not an ordinary man. But instead, he was a man born from both a human and a sea monster.

Lin Xiaofei listened as the crowd started to be confused and unsure whether to buy the possession of an uncrowned emperor of the sea. She could sense the fear in their voices as they unceasingly murmured downstairs.

But what caught her attention the most was the excitement that was radiating from Jimo's body.

"Do you want it?" She said to him. 

"Yes." Jimo said without thinking and when he realized he said that out loud, he immediately shook his head, "I mean, no."

"But you seem to desire it."

"What could be so desirable about an earring that was owned by someone ruthless as Kizaku?" Jimo said without blinking.

However, the tiny twitch of his ear didn't go unnoticed by Lin Xiaofei.

The auction continued as soon as the earring was sold to the highest bidder. But because a lot of the bidders were afraid of the earring and didn't want to be cursed by it, the bidding price for the earring was slightly lower than the previous one.

The auction announcer diverted the customer's towards the second item.

"What do we have here? Isn't this the purple immortal coneflower?"Seeing the clueless expression on the bidders down the stage, he continued to say, " As all of you may not know. This flower was said to be the cure to any infection and prevent any foreign diseases entering your body! It'll also create a balance of your body energy and keep you healthy for a long time! A perfect ingredient for an elixir!"

As quick as the bidder's expression fell when they saw Kizaku's earring, the crowd's smile bloomed and they became excited once again.

After all, who doesn't want to be healthier than yesterday and today?

Seeing the audience wearing a smile on their lips, the auctioneer loudly spoke, "We'll start the bidding price at ten thousand silvers!"

The auction house became lively once again. Everyone screamed their price to get the powerful medicinal herb and come home with something useful at last.

Of course, Lin Xiaofei doubled everyone's bid as the price rose, leaving everyone wondering who this person was.

Meanwhile, the two princesses snickered inside their room. 

"Aiyaa! Our neighbor seems to like the flower so much to even pay a thousand gold for it." Princess Zhu said.

Princess Gao also laughed as she agreed with what her sister said, "That is right. That flower must be so important to that person then. But what to do? I quite like the appearance of that flower."

Princess Gao raised her hand and bid ten times higher than Lin Xiaofei, "Ten thousand Gold!"

Everyone gasped as they didn't expect anyone to squander such an amount of gold in that auction house. The crowd started to murmur once again and wonder whether this person was sane for buying a flower for the price of ten thousand gold!

However, that doesn't end their surprise as they heard a calm voice coming from the room next to the two princesses.

"Twenty thousand gold."

Lin Xiaofei lazily raised her hand and bid twice higher than them. 

"Heok!"

"Is that person crazy?!"

"Twenty thousand gold?"

The crowd went crazy once again. They already suffered quite a shock from the bid the two princesses have forked out but the lady beside their room doubled their bid and everyone couldn't contain their surprise.

Princess Gao and Princess Zhu whipped their heads to the side and glared at the room beside them.

Their minds were in panic now that their bids were doubled by the mysterious lady inside the room next to theirs. They wondered who this lady was and wanted to mess with her.

Mocking smiles spread across their lips as they spoke.

"Young miss, are you sure you have that amount of gold in your pockets now? It's not good to lie just because you want to beat us in here." Princess Gao said in an attempt to annoy the lady inside the room next to theirs.

"We came here with a chest of gold. It would be saddening if you cry and lose against us." Princess Zhu added with a smile.

They wanted to agitate the lady and make her panic. They didn't believe that she had the capabilities to get that amount of gold. 

Unfortunately, no reply was given to the princesses as Lin Xiaofei simply doesn't care about what they said.
