The empress tried to get away from him but Emperor Yun kicked her and slapped her.

The sounds of her wailing and painful m.o.a.ns were inky things that could be heard inside the Jade Palace.

The emperor flicked his sleeves as he walked out of the Jade Palace. The empress and the man wailed and cried for mercy but Emperor Yun ignored them.

While there was a commotion going inside the Jade Palace, on the roof of the courtyard near it, a man clad in black stood while the rain fell on his figure.
