THE BLACKLIGHT

Akagi wakes up in a dark room; he was sleeping on a sofa. Suddenly the door opens, with an old man with a wooden stick and one left eye with transparent monocle glasses. Left-sided back brush, Nut brownie colour hair and small goatee. Including, the girl Misaki and Mr Taka enters the room, standing by the wall quietly.

"How are you feeling Shinsuke?" the old man asked politely. "I am sure you had a rough night"

"I guess" Akagi quietly response

"Well then, why do you join us in the dinner table?"

"NO" Akagi respond in loud voice. "However, well...I not able to eat any food" Akagi replied anxiously.

"Just come down" the man politely response

While Akagi went downstairs, he sees that he is in a good decorated middle-class restaurant and bar. The man proudly says "Welcome to Friendo's bar"

Akagi confusing says "Is it yours? Um...Mr...."

"Yamamoto Hisashi, but please, call me Mr Yamamoto or the Owner"

Akagi, Mr Yamamoto and the others had dinner, by that; all Akagi's doubt has clear. Now he is able to eat normal food without vomit or splitting it. Now he understands that, due to enough biomass has gathered for the virus in Akagi's body from the Soldier that he consumed.

Yamamoto told Akagi that he is now a mutant or a Hybrid some sought caused by the Blacklight virus, and the all others in this bar are Mutants just like himself. Their main goal is to start a restaurant business, they pretend to be humans and help other troubled Mutants, those haunted by Blackwatch in the yellow zone.

They are non-violent mutants; they came in Yellow zone for sought to live a normal life in peace. Yamamoto also provides knowledge to Akagi about Mutants. They doesn't usually eat or drink anything, they never fell hungry or thirsty but they can eat normal food as individual work for keeping their appearance as humans.

Most Mutants consume living things for restore Biotium AKA organic biomass. When extreme injuries taken by a mutant, they cannot eat normal food or dead food because the virus in mutant's body requires living biomass to regenerate, when normal food injected to their body, the virus will rejected all the food from their mouth through vomiting. How Mutants blend in human society as a normal regular people.

Mutants ability to transform into a Noryoku, consume and few of them has the ability to shape shift. He said that Akagi is a Blacklight infected Variant or rather a Mutant hybrid. A human who gained Mutant powers and abilities expect the shape shifting abilities. Meaning, Akagi is not able to change any forms, but he can consume humans or other mutants and sometimes take their Noryoku to his inventory. Mutants only one, sometimes unpaired Noryoku type but Akagi can transform into two or more Noryoku types if he able to consume more unique mutants. Akagi interrupt and says

"But I don't have any powers or any Noryoku type. I just used my red eye for once, which is back to normal again".

"As I said, you can't transform any Noryoku, because you don't have any, you have to consume a mutant with unique Noryoku that matches your genetic makeup and remember, consuming a Mutant is not a child's play, you have to weaken them first, then you able to consume them, consuming taken care by your Seaks."

Akagi questioned Yamamoto "Seaks?"

"Yes Seaks, the black coloured tentacles, those have a square holes in it. You remember, right? When you consumed the soldier? Seaks are viral organ helps to consumes biomass, every mutants has these"

Akagi remembered it those tentacles, he understood that mutants call it, Seaks. He surely thought that it is crazy, defeated a living mutant, a weakling like him, that's impossible for him" but he didn't say anything

Yamamoto said to him that, he can go home now and to his work in MRC but he warns him to be careful around the viral detectors in his working place. Because, Blackwatch is largely funding MRC for carry on experiment on Mutants. They place the detectors for all over the city for detecting the Mutants; they capture Mutants alive and put in research to identify more of their weaknesses, easier for them to exterminate Mutants. Blackwatch is very much eager to capture a Blacklight infected hybrid. At the end after when they finish their research, they will finish him off. Akagi understands the threats and ensures Yamamoto that he will be not been caught. Akagi went home while Misaki taking the dirty plates on the table for washing, she personally asked Yamamoto, why is he showing an interest in him, knowing he is in MRC? During dinner, she was back then, was been quiet, observing what Yamamoto going to do.

She rather surprised to see his decisions, so she asks him that question. Yamamoto is a living encyclopaedia of Mutant so he explains to her that, he asked her to know anything that failed experiment for crating Mutants by using manmade virus that leads to the outbreak 16 years ago. Misaki said she doesn't know anything, Yamamoto said to her, not only that boy survive the Blacklight infection, one human who possesses Red Hikaru eye and could survive that with mutant's powers and most of all, he been infected by the Redtron himself. Misaki reacted with a surprise saying "that's absurd, the legendary Redtron. But why is he going to do that for?"

"Whatever the reason might be, Shinsuke Akagi has become a Mutant. We should protect him. Keep an eye on him okay Misaki-Chan, besides helping other mutants in need that is our motto. Right" Misaki exhales slowing "Fine, I will have a look after my school". Redtron have been admires from many mutants. Many respect his power, strengths and his ongoing war for weak and innocent mutants against Blackwatch, MRC and Lex. He is like a living legend, in many mutants' mind and Redtron is quite popular for mutants and most notorious for Blackwatch soldiers. Akagi returned home and he went to straight his room. He is sitting on his bed, thinking

"Am I wrong about Mutants? They seem generous, polite and they invite a worthless being like me to their home. Just to I saw a few good mutants but it doesn't mean all mutants are good."

"Yeses.... You are right..."

The voice from his head has come back Akagi sit up from the bed and anxiously says

"Who is it? Who the hell are you?"

"You want to know who I am?" the voice coming from Akagi's ceiling

Akagi look up and completely terrified to see, Redtron is sticking on the ceiling of his room, Redtron's both hand and legs speared around Akagi's ceiling.

"You, you are the masked man. You are the voices from my head. What the f.u.c.k you did to me? It's your fault that I become a mutant".

Redtron comes down to the ground, a few distances between Akagi and Redtron. He slowly takes steps toward Akagi.

"So you saw a few mutants, that convincing enough to believe that all Mutants are good? Boy, you have no idea, the violence Mutants are capable of, but you will find out soon that what cold, cruel world that you born with". Each steps Redtron takes Akagi mind takeover by him. Akagi fell down to his knees trying to cover his ear from Redtron's creepy squeaky voice, but it's no use because that voice coming from his mind, from the dark inner sociopathic madness that he had been buried many years ago. Akagi desperately tries to hold his sanity, and successfully recovers it, by throwing a small flower vase from his study table toward Redtron, the vase smash over his room's wall. The figure has gone but his voice still roaming his room screaming and saying

"you cannot erase me, Akagi, not until you realize the true reality of this world that you trying to avoid it for so long, once you realise it, I will be gone forever but until then I will be there as your alter ego, your dark passenger. When your hatred overcome you foolish moral code, I will take your mind, your body and unleash all the madness you carried inside. The bite mark will never be disappeared"

A few seconds later the voice has gone. Akagi takes the sign of relief, but his relief was gone when he saw in his backside twisted tentacles tries to tear his skin and went out to the open, Akagi bend in pain, the back portion of his white shirt went up. By the tentacles, soon the tentacles cuts his shirt through his skins went out, alongside with blood, meats and even bones tearing his whole back with it. The last he saw, Akagi widened his eye open, jumped from his bed in fear, heavily breathing while sitting on his bed, wasting no time, Akagi quickly checking his back. He sees nothing unusual on his back, still in one piece, and then he sees small sunlight coming through the small edges of a window scene it.

"Its morning already, a nightmare, nothing else" he calm himself on his bed.

Akagi quickly dresses up and went down for breakfast. As Yamamoto said, he never hungry, for keeping his appearance as nothing has happened Akagi came for breakfast as usual. While eating breakfast his mother ask him

"Everything all right Akagi? You look so distressed. Akagi nervously answers

"No, nothing, everything is fine," he falsely smiles to calm them.

"Well, he's always looking distressed and pissed"

Akiho replied besides his table, Akagi heard it, but didn't say anything.

"Akiho, is that you talk to your older brother?" Their mother interrupted. "Is there something wrong that you're not telling me Akagi?" she asks again.

After hearing, that what his mother asked him he is sure that something is wrong with him. He quickly thinks.

"Damn! They still do not know the truth, I have to make sure that, they will never discover the truth that I have become a Mutant, I have to do something change the subject and avoid all questions. Akagi's eyes wandering around the dining room and fortunately he saw a photo frame about his mother's back days in military service. He sees the frame hanging on the wall, he thinks "Hmm. Let's try this" then he ask his mother to tell them about her Service days, how awesome she was, how many medals she received, that sort of stuff. After Akagi's questions, his brother Akiho curios to know that, however, their mother hated the military service; she also spent time in prison because of this. Forcing her children to go to Foster care between her jail times, she is terrifying still now, even thinking of it, suddenly she became quite after avoiding the question entirely.

Akagi knew this to be happened, so he asked that question with proposed to avoid any questions. Akagi sometimes becomes a cold heated individual. Because he truly cares about his mother and younger brother and he will do anything to keep them safe because two of them are only family that he have, and two of them are only ones who loves Akagi.

Akagi's mother is a kind soul, take care both her children, and cannot bear when her children fight. Akagi's mother is quite beautiful. She is slim and has a long dark blue hair that reaches her waists with blue eyes just like her two children. His mother's eye, Akagi is more like a favourite child between them; he is caring, loving, and responsible, sometimes lazy for doing unnecessary task like, going to the market, buying grocery etc, but when it comes to his families' safety, he will do his best effort to make them happy. When Akagi was younger, he considered his mother to be the centre of his world, always smiling when Akagi was with his mother, regularly holding her hand while walking. Despite crying whenever he lost in every fight against his bullies he attended, Akagi started to smile again as soon as he saw his mom patching up his wound. She was also taught Akagi the moral code of to be good to others. His mother maybe soft and caring but back in her military service, she was considered to be a tough, courageous and badass young woman.

At a very young age, Akagi once heard from his father saying his existence means destined to be a saviour to his family and the people he cared. Those words that he can only remember about his father, which instilled in him a d.e.s.i.r.e to protect his mother and his family. After Akagi ate breakfast, he wears his glasses and went to his college. MRC Training Institute is considered a college or an academy for highly qualified students in science. When Akagi was in high school, he was recruited by MRC for his excellent grades. He is considered to be a lab geek for the other students, and stay away from him, some of the students even bullying him still now.

While Akagi is on way to his lab, he hears a long-running noise from his back. It is his pervy friend Natsume Yuichi, he jump on Akagi's back, shaking his front neck, back and front in a very funny manner.

"Shinsuke, you bastard do you have any idea for how long I had waited in that lab?" "You said that you came to the in one minute. I was waiting for 5 hours". He asked about the blood sample that Akagi will give him to test about the last night. Akagi told him that he was in half sleep when he called Natsume and told him to forget about it. Akagi saw Natsume was upset, so he apologies. Yuichi Natsume told him that only way to accept his apology; he will have to buy his lunch. Akagi had no choice but to agree. Yuichi is also studies in these college but different division from Akagi's.

Natsume Yuichi has long faded yellow spiky hair and blue eyes always wearing collage's uniform of white shirt, black paint and ash colour tie with dark yellow trips. Akagi said he will meet him at lunch break, and then Akagi enters his lab, wears his white gloves, lab coat and starts his assignment.

By looking he put his eyes on the microscope but he minds wandering elsewhere. He is constantly thinking about his dream last night. Is it, just a dream, or something else? If it is something else, what is it mean, what is he mean by that "my alter ego?"

and tons of questions about the other crazy staff s like, who is Redtron? Where Mutants came from? When they came to the city? How they born? Who created the Blacklight and why? And what propose that Redtron infected him? He filled his head with these thoughts. In the blink of an eye, it is lunchtime. Akagi is surprise to see how time passes by in matter of seconds. A few minutes later Natsume arrived in the lab as he promised, but Akagi haven't finished his report.

He says to Natsume to wait a little while until his finish his report. Natsume enter Akagi's lab and constantly touching his lab's stuff and Akagi hatred when someone comes in to his laboratory and touches his stuffs. Yuichi torching the test tubes on his table, touching the chemicals on the bottles and playing from human skeleton model.

Akagi gets very annoyed and gets out to his lab with Natsume, writing his report unfinished. Akagi and Natsume go out to the city looking for eating lunch.
