THE BLACKLIGHT

At East-Red Zone, the Surviving Lex Units found a three-story house to stay for the night. The place looked much designated than the rest, they checked viral contamination within the area, posted a watch duty against Walkers.

As the backup light charger enlighten the house, defeated, humiliated, swelling in grief Lex Unit soldiers finally get to rest.

Masamune sat down on a small stool, in front of few battery chargers, recovering from overusing the Suit.

Tomotaki soon joined him "Arragh... What a day" he sits beside Masamune.

Tomotaki pours coffee from the container and gives it to Masamune "Here! It will feel you better",

"Thanks," Masamune taken the cup, "We can't believe that we lose" Masamune reminds him "How can we win, this place is shitty".

Tomotaki agreed, "Right, we clearly were a disadvantaged there, East-Red Zone is constant war zone but we somehow managed to get clear the Fort, that maybe a small victory".

Masamune nods then kept silent for a moment,

Few minutes later Masamune asks, "Tomotaki, so what's your story, why you ended up in this shithole?" He randomly asked,

"Who me?" Tomotaki confirmed in surprised, after been settled he says, "Fresh out of the regular Military Academy , I served with some foreign mercenaries groups over the years then I finally joined Blackwatch regular unit first, that time I first saw the harsh life of this country and this world, I noticed ranking up is tough, so I did some very nasty stuff to get promoted".

Tomotaki stopped for a moment, a slight of regret revealed on his face "Nasty stuff like wrongful Murders, executions, firing on civilians etc. You know the Blackwatch's s quote, 'join the army', it said".

"For my sins, It eventually benefitted me, I ranked up and joined the Lex Unit, I thought my harsh life will be over, but then after, then the war broke out, the second MH War, that time only I saw was death, bloodshed and miserable battles within the city I-".

"Shh!!!" Masamune suddenly shushed him

with lifts his fingers up, "Did you hear that?" he gets up questioning him.

Tomotaki looks around, "What? I didn't hear a thing".

Masamune looked at the House's window "Whose in a ground watch?"

"Huh!?" Tomotaki flinched, "Who is down there? Well... Kurt, Shoji and maybe Major Harasaki, why?" he asked,

Masamune sitting down "I don't know, I thought I heard a woman voice".

Tomotaki completely exclaimed after hearing Masamune's imagination "Are you nuts? What woman could be in here at a war zone?" he advised Masamune "Have another cup; it will end your sleepiness".

Masamune thought, whatever he had claimed was happened mistakenly, he about to sit but suddenly,

"Araghh! Get off me!" a feminine voice screamed, disturbed both of them.

"What the f.u.c.k was that?" Masamune immediately runs towards the window "What the f.u.c.k! Is he doing, f.u.c.k.i.n.g sick head" he rushed out from the house. Tomotaki followed him to the bottom.

Masamune got out and saw Kurt and Riley are patrolling over the area, they looked like that they hadn't heard that noise,

"Something wrong Sergeant Masamune?" Riley said.

Masamune wondering over the area, thinking where is that scream came from.

"Ugh!!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!!!!!" that same feminine voice roared out again,

This time Masamune notices, when his eyes focused on the car across the street, he literally shocked,

Tomotaki soon arrived at the ground,

"Please, don't..." she cried in muffled voice,

"Shut up bitch!" the man dominantly hoarse,

In dark, what Masamune saw is one Lex soldier with unbuckled pants, continuously humping on a civilian behind the car, her legs constantly quivering when he hammering her like a wild animal,

In livid, Masamune raced towards him and violently pulled him out of her body and throws away.

"What the f.u.c.k! God dammit just about to c.u.m" Shoji harshly mumbled, adjusting his fallen off pants

Masamune saw a beat up young woman who apparently was a small time witness.

When Masamune detached her from Shoji, she quickly pulled off and stuck into a corner defending her body from attackers.

"What the f.u.c.k is your problem?" Shoji got back up yelling Masamune,

"You bastard! What did you do to her, is Lex Unit means for you, raping civilians?" Masamune furiously questioned him,

"You don't get to decide who and what I do" Shoji sardonically stated,

"I do if you continue doing such hideous crimes" Masamune protested "That's not to be a..."

"Shut your f.u.c.k.i.n.g, f.u.c.k-hole you f.u.c.k.i.n.g d.i.c.k!", Shoji went closer glowering him face to face "Don't forget I'm your superior" he puts his fingers on Masamune's c.h.e.s.t, warning him "Don't you dare, question what I do, I saw many people died in front of me by the hands of animals who looked like us, I saw our generals who are nothing less than power hungry warlords who want to dominated these lands and they willing to keep it under control at any cost".

"I saw what Blackwatch and Lex soldiers operate between this region, we killed infected and Mutants that comes near our way, and if we find anything or anyone on their way back, I take everything as we please" he looked aside the r.a.p.ed woman bowing her head in shame, glaring at her like monstrous savage "And I definitely willing to chew her fat to p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e myself, I will f.u.c.k as many women as I find and...".

He mockingly smirking "And you will do nothing because you are my inferior, that's it work now, go to your post and maybe jerk yourself in the corner if you must, get out of here first!"

Tomotaki quickly interrupts "We get it, Second Lieutenant Shoji" he pulled Masamune's shoulder "Let's go, don't do stupid".

Shoji is tall well build man with brown short hair and eyes and a scar on the forehead. His demeanour is a giant but Masamune didn't flinched, just stared in his eyes until it end. Masamune went back; slowly start walking the way back but...

"Where that prick came from F.u.c.k.i.n.g Motherf.u.c.ker" Shoji intentionally bullied him.

That raged Masamune, he turned back violently punched Shoji's face, he drove right onto crush car, but Masamune didn't stopped, he continually punching his face.

As the brawl erupts three of the soldiers trying to stop them, their hustle stopped after Major Harasaki came in.

All soldiers stand in line glaring Harasaki, he holding a cigarette on hand, emotionlessly glaring them,

"Major, I explain everything" Kurt proposed "As you can see th—"

"No need to explain, I heard everything" Harasaki interrupted, comes forward "My question is why you were fighting like f.u.c.k.i.n.g children, hmm...?"

He saw that woman near the car "And who is she, another civilian?"

"You said, 'You heard everything'" said Masamune, "Then you should know who is she and why we fighting like children".

Harasaki rolled his eyes, "I predicted, you will all tells lies that confront you, you babble, bubble and the issue will never be solved, your words against their".

Tomotaki suggests "Then I will all exact truth".

Harasaki agreed then they told him what happened.

"Kurt, Riley you two were in ground, you didn't knew what Shoji f.u.c.k.i.n.g up that civilian?" Harasaki directly questioned them,

They slowly nod after a brief silent.

Hearing all that Harasaki nods dropping the cigarette out, he comes near that woman who continuously sobbing,

"What's your name, and where did you come from?" He directly said,

The woman sobbed covering her face from hands "My name is Maka and I am Fro... From Brown Zone".

She is quite young and beautiful woman has mid-length violet hair and eyes.

"How you did you end up here in War Zone?" Harasaki thoroughly questions,

Hearing that, Maka growled at Harasaki "You tell me, you people thrown me and my husband into this zone, just we refused to pay the protection fee, they got us into a truck and throw us in here, I lived in here for a month until I got back for searching food but... ". She disgustingly glared at Shoji "You're men found me and..." Maka stopped,

Harasaki hummed, standing up "Hmm... So where is your husband"?

No! He isn't here", she confirmed,

"Oh! Where is he then, eaten by Walkers?" Harasaki randomly suggested,

Maka did not replied by keeping quiet,

"So you don't want to tell me" Harasaki slowly crouched down gently brushed her cheek, his calm face hinted with anger as he furrowed his brows "If you don't tell me, I sent my men to take proper care of you" his hands slowly reached down her neck, slowly squeezing her "After they done, your husband couldn't recognised you, so tell me where your husband is".

"Does it matter?" She questioned,

Harasaki chuckled "No actually! I just curious with him, for very shortage of food, how could you survived for a month?"

Not holding any longer, Mika weepily confessed "We didn't have any food or water, Blackwatch sent us to a place where there is no food nor any people, in hunger my husband commit suicide, and I, I don't had choice, I had to keep alive". She continue weeping

"You ate your husband didn't you?" Harasaki questioned,

She forcefully nods,

Harasaki nods back "Cannibalism is very dangerous taboo" he grabbed her shirt and ripped in half, exposing her pink bra, "Very Dangerous indeed, so what should we do about you".

Literally humiliated by Lex Unit, Maka constantly weeping for being alone, violated and scared.

Her condition was horrified and Harasaki is tormenting her. As she continues crying, her tears wetting her clothes,

"That's enough Major!" Masamune interfered, "She did nothing, Blackwatch send her into the East-Red Zone, and she had to eat in order to survive".

"She didn't pay the protection fee; those fees are extracted and given you as your salaries". Harasaki get up glaring her "We work under Blackwatch, so we are serving our Empire, and this is our duty collecting taxes from those, we are protecting, since you are not aware of the system so I explain to you in short, the Empire maintain control of groups they absorb through peaceful or extortionate annexation or conquest by making it preferable to be in the empire than outside it. If the people won't give taxes then they don't deserve to live in the safe zones, we will kindly request to leave or throw them into War Zones, see how long they live over here".

"I understand but, she did nothing", Masamune pleaded,

Harasaki frowned "You are really pain in the ass"

"Told you" Shoji commented from the back,

"Did I ask you a f.u.c.k.i.n.g thing Shoji? What happened if you get infected by banging her, huh?" Harasaki hoarse, turned back to his shoulder. Shoji kept quiet from now on.

"You can't kill her major" Masamune whispery insisted, "She's innocent, you can't kill a human, a civilian".

That underestimate Harasaki "I can't, you saying I can't kill a goddam chick"

"No, you got it all wrong" Masamune tried to reasoned him,

"Kurt!" he ordered, "Schneide ihr die Kehle durch".

Whatever he ordered Kurt to do, he hesitated by it,

"Nun, das ist eine Bestellung" he again ordered him in German,

"Kurt! What he ordered!" Masamune demanded "Kurt! What he...."

before Masamune could say anything, Kurt bring out a army knife slits her throat.

The goopy blood spewing from the slit as she rolling on the ground agonising in pain.

Kurt is the son of a gun, a tall, muscular soldier with a wild and aggressive appearance, which fits his personality. He has a long face with pronounced cheekbones, and pronounced, hairless brow ridges clean bald head, and pointy blonde goatee, a true tattooed crook his arms filling with tattoos even with his backside of the bald painted with a eagle. For aggressive behaviour he didn't have no hesitation killing a woman.

While Masamune did not believe what in the world he is in, he gone silent,

"Alright! Kurt, Riley, and Shoji go and rest, we head home tomorrow," Harasaki ordered them to rest; he also ordered Masamune "You, Sergeant Masamune, you and Nakajo will guard for the rest of the night".

"Yes sir" Tomotaki obliged,

When they were gone, Tomotaki advised him "Told you try not to do something stupid".
