"I understand what Misaki meant back then" Akagi explicitly thought, walking towards his home "But I can't go back in my college" he wildly shakes his head "What am I thinking, I have to get my doctorate degree, once I get my degree, I have to leave the city but those things comes later, first I have to return".

He opened the door of his house,

"Akagi! You come back," Amiya happily said,

But Akagi did not know what to say, so he keeps quiet,

Overwhelming with joy, she apologise to him "I'm sorry! Akagi I should trusted you, but I couldn't, you want to know why?" she grimly asked.

Amiya slowly revealed seeing Akagi nod, "Akashi told me what he had become and I accepted your father as a Mutant but slowly I realised he not became a Mutant, he became something else".

"What did you mean by that?" Akagi questioned,

"Once your father came to the house and he happily explained how many soldiers that he killed how much destructions he caused, how many of his colleagues he had consumed it felt like he enjoying doing all those things".

"I couldn't say anything about it, although I had to protect him and myself, when he insanely decided to inject that deadly virus into your body. In name of treating your cancer, I strongly denied, he was not happy with that, start arguing with me, without any choice, I demanded to leave and never come back, leave me and my kids alone".

Amiya looked at him explaining, "I knew I couldn't save you but I can love you to live for life that you have, I always want you to have family and friends and to be a loving life" she sighed, "Sorry I send you two to Foster home, I hoped that they took better care of you".

"Never mind that they got what they deserved!" Akagi exhales cheering her up "And I'm not going to abandon you, everything is alright, I will stay by your side forever, all things are OK now, just don't worry about it".

Amiya confused by Akagi's statement, "Why saying 'everything is alright', " she feels little nervous "You have a cancer, you should not be happy with it? What happened to you, Akagi, tell me the truth, what are exactly you?" She quickly comes closer, demanding an answer "What have you become?"

"What do you mean?" Akagi muttered, "I don't understand you".

"You acting very strange since you got a part-time job, rarely visited us, finding an apartment to live" Amiya shakes her head, scarily saying "Don't tell me your father injected that virus and you become a monstrous Mutant like your dad once were".

Akagi analysed the sudden question, he went stern at first, but he signs, convincingly response "No! Nothing happened to me, I'm Akagi Shinsuke that you always knew and always will be".

Hearing the answer, Amiya extremely happy and went on hugging him, feeling her hug Akagi could sense that a heavy lift comes out from her.

Akagi did not knew what to say so he said what came to his mind, overwhelming with regret, he stands near his balcony stare the view until a phone call alerted him.

It was Masamune wanted to meet him in same café, Akagi obliged, and he walked dy towards it.

After they reunited, they frequently met up with that café to share and enlighten their friendship.

"So, The Helecter, the Mutant militants group" Akagi hummed, hearing Masamune's problem,

"That's not only problem", Masamune disagreed "I hesitate to bring the official classified subject, since you are my oldest friend, I trust you".

Even when they were kids, Masamune always had come down to Akagi with a problem, hoping to get a solution. Akagi is still good at solving problems,

"I heard you had some difficulty communicating other soldiers since they immoral sons of bitches, who should be in the ultimate bad guy's role", Akagi joked,

Masamune chuckled "Yeah... Something like that" he signed then gravely speaks "I killed many terrorist or any radical group when I was in in Special Force" he eyed Akagi "But in here I am experiencing the new kind of war, I am overwhelming with their greed, ego, arrogance, God complexion and many more "

Akagi pressed his cheek, "What else you can do? Blackwatch are in charge governing this country and it's capital, here so they are misusing it to kill Mutants and anyone who opposed them".

"No! I fought the Helecter, they're cruel and think humans are nothing more than a cattle" Masamune replied after thought about the answer,

"Seems like you still on your last opinion, nothing changed after surviving that dangerous mission", Akagi confidently mentioned,

"I don't know how to react with my comrades, everyone has their point of view seeing the world" Masamune noted, "I need to become more neutral in order to become an effective Soldier, moreover Spectres is secretly running around the yellow zone abducting suspects who linked into the leak..". Masamune suddenly stopped.

"Huh? Something in the matter why you suddenly stopped? " Akagi questioned, pointing a cup in front of his mouth,

Masamune casually says "Ash! Never mind that, I haven't informed yet to be true, just don't worry about that" then he changed the subjects and talked about anything else.

Akagi did something suspicious but didn't notice, he also focused on the current subjects.

After the conversation Akagi returned to the Friendo's Bar after a long time.

When doors opens,

"Well! Look who's here, good for nothing Mr Shinsuke, where were you, attending dance lessons" Fumihiro funnily joked, wiping off the dirty tables.

Akagi smiled, replies back "Nice to see your outfit Fumihiro would you like to dance?"

"What, Dance? My outfit?" Fumihiro confusedly asked,

Akagi sarcastically says , "Oh you must've misheard me. I said you look f.u.c.k.i.n.g retard wearing those pant".

"Ah, that's dark humour" Fumihiro said for been displeased,

"Akagi-San!" Miyoshi called, coming down from upstairs,

"Miyoshi-Chan?" Akagi surprisingly recalled,

when he saw Miyoshi comes close to him,

"Is me or you became taller?" Akagi asked in surprised,

Miyoshi happily nods "Yes, I almost reached your shoulder; soon I will reach your height as well".

Akagi laughed "Yeah, you certainly grew taller but you will not reach my height, it's 5'11".

"Hey! Why you came in this time its lunch break!" Fumihiro notified him.

Akagi looked around the restaurant "Since you all are in lunch break, I'll come back in the evening then".

"You don't have to come back at evening!", Yamamoto confidently commanded, suddenly appeared climbing down to the stairs, "You can return tomorrow if possible".

"Oo-okay" Akagi confusingly answer then went out,

"See you tomorrow, Aka-Chan!" Miyoshi happily goodbye him.

Akagi nods then closed the door,

"Yamamoto acting strange lately" Akagi imagined, then he lighten himself "Huh. Well good thing is Miyoshi is went back to normal" he started walking towards his apartment, "I heard Miyoshi was gone depression, since her family were murdered, I didn't have to saw her many often until now".

Akagi opens the apartment's main door "It's hard to see such a bright young mind went depressed, I have to glad to see her cheerful face" when Akagi turned the second floor "Oh what the!"

Akagi saw Misaki lying on the floor beside her apartment room.
