Chapter 57: Taken Away

After threatening Zhong Yunxin some more, Xia Yu let her go.

He knew Zhong Yunxin was feeling afraid for now, but she would start making trouble again after a while.

There was no way around it. It was a lesson for her, and it was a lesson which couldn’t use violence, or Zhong Yunxin wouldn’t remember.

He needed to do a few more warnings like this.

After getting free food and drink at the East Land School until 4 pm, Xia Yu returned to his own body.

When he woke up the next morning, he could hear sounds from Yan Wei outside the door.

Walking out of his room, he saw Youxue and the two Yan sisters eating snacks.

“I made this.” Yan Wei told Xia Yu.

“Go wash your face and brush your teeth! These are so delicious!” Youxue said.

He went into the bathroom and finished washing up, then he headed toward the table.

The pastries weren’t the trendy Western style ones but Chinese-style rice cakes.

He picked up a piece of the rice cake and took a bite. It was perfect, in both the level of sweetness and softness.

This was as good as what the chefs made at the East Land School. This girl probably had some cooking talent.

Too bad cooking skills weren’t useful to Xia Yu.

After Xia Yu finished the pastries, at 8 am, Xia Yu went to An Siyao’s again.

Today was October 1st, World Celebration Day, which had a seven-day holiday, and the East Land School was also on holiday.

But inside the East Land School, there were many students who didn’t leave.

These daughters of upper-class society had no one to be with at home, so they might as well stay at school.

Among them, Zhong Yunxin, because she was given a discipline of observation at school, also couldn’t leave school without her parents’ note.

“Good morning.” An Siyao greeted Xia Yu.

“Morning.” Xia Yu answered.

Sitting in a chair, Xia Yu pondered how to interfere in the Zhong Yunxin matter.

Last time, Zhong Yunxin happened to be right there. Now that she’d been lectured once, she’d immediately avoid An Siyao and the Feng sisters.

After thinking for a little bit, he decided to continue the plan which was interrupted yesterday. He said, “what’s the story with Zhong Yunxin?”

“Zhong Yunxin? I don’t know. Jiajia would know.”

Xia Yu messaged Feng Yujia, but she didn’t reply right away, saying she’d get to the house in half an hour.

“Do you like her type?” An Siyao asked gingerly.

“Just feeling curious. East Land is such a harmonious place, how could there be someone like her?” Xia Yu made himself sound curious about an upper-class campus.

“Um. I had never seen someone like her before.” An Siyao paused and asked, “you really don’t like her?”

“…”

Xia Yu began to think: Would it be easier to interfere in this if he said he liked her?

But saying so would bring serious consequences.

“I like more docile girls.” He replied.

“Ah.” The girl became happier.

Xia Yu didn’t want to have a relationship, but he wasn’t an asexual guy like in those Japanese novels either. He could tell the girl’s inner thoughts.

A girl at her age, who had basically no contact with her peers, would probably crush on a guy after being helped by him many times.

Especially after he learned everything about her.

“Where are you going for college?” Asked Xia Yu.

“Probably Huada University. My grandpa had mentioned it before.” An Siyao answered.

“What major?”

The two of them started chatting idly.

Twenty-five minutes later, Feng Yujia and Feng Yumo arrived at the house.

Feng Yujia wanted to come on her own, but she was discovered by Feng Yumo when she secretly left.

Feng Yujia sat in the parlor in the front yard and remembered as she answered Xia Yu’s questions.

“That Zhong Yunxin was supposedly misbehaving back in middle school. She was expelled once.”

After taking a sip of tea, Feng Yujia continued, “she was going to the Flower Hill School, and only transferred here this year. She supposedly got in trouble there.”

Xia Yu didn’t ask what the trouble was. This was something he could find out from Kong Hanyue.

“Is she common in your circle of friends?” Xia Yu asked.

He had pretended to be interested in bad girls among society girls, so he couldn’t just focus on asking about Zhong Yunxin.

“There are some bad-tempered ones, but I had never seen anyone like her.” Feng Yujia shook her head.

At this point, Feng Yumo interrupted, “Does Yaoyao like bad girls like her?”

This question sounded familiar.

“No. I just can’t imagine how a well-off girl could become like this.” Xia Yu answered.

“Why did Zhong Yunxin bully those students?” He asked again.

“Who knows how she thinks.” Feng Yujia didn’t know either.

He sighed inwardly. He asked Feng Yujia because he wanted to know the reason for Zhong Yunxin’s temper. Now it seemed that Feng Yujia didn’t know.

Then he would have to find out from the students bullied by Zhong Yunxin.

After the questioning, the three of them continued to drink tea, eat pastries and killed time.

By two p.m, Feng Yujia took a call.

“What… Zhong Yunxin hit someone else?… the on-call teacher isn’t there?… security is afraid?”

Ending the call, Feng Yujia looked at Xia Yu.

The call was for her to help, but she was too afraid to face off with Zhong Yunxin.

Xia Yu stood up. “Let’s go and take a look.”

At 2:30 p.m, the three of them reached the dorm building at the East Land School.

A group of people were in the first floor lobby.

Inside the crowd, Zhong Yunxin was beating the two security guards trying to control her. The guards were afraid to use too much force and just took the blows.

In a society where money was above all, these regular people guards were naturally afraid of these society girls.

“Make some room.” Xia Yu walked up.

The girls who were gathered around cheered when they saw Xia Yu.

Zhong Yunxin also cowered a little bit, giving the guards a chance to get away.

“Ms. An.” The guards looked at him as if he was a savior.

An Siyao and Feng Yujia were equally well-known in the school, so the guards knew her.

“Let me deal with it.” Making the guards back down, Xia Yu walked toward Zhong Yunxin.

Zhong Yunxin tried to stay calm for two seconds, but couldn’t keep it up when Xia Yu was five steps away. She turned and ran toward a hallway.

Xia Yu strode forward quickly and pulled on Zhong Yunxin’s collar.

Dang —

Zhong Yunxin fell onto the floor with a dull and loud sound.

The girls who were whispering around them also quieted. They were afraid too.

“What are you doing?!” Zhong Yunxin stood up and tried to fight back.

Xia Yu reached out his hand again and pressed on her stomach.

She instantly lost any power to retaliate.

“Who did Zhong Yunxin hit?” Xia Yu looked at the girls who stood around watching.

It was quiet in the hall. When Xia Yu pulled on Zhong Yunxin, he had started Scaring, terrifying all these girls.

Three seconds later, a classmate of An Siyao’s answered. “They were afraid, so they went back to the dorm.”

“Are they hurt bad?” Xia Yu asked.

“No… Not really.” The girl was sheepish as Xia Yu stared at her.

“Then please tell them that I would be waiting for them at the Student Council.” Xia Yu looked at the guards. “Please be there too.”

“Yes.” The guards stood up straighter, almost giving a salute.

The two guards looked at each other when they followed behind Xia Yu as he dragged Zhong Yunxin away.

No wonder she was a socialite from upper-class society. She had an incredible presence.
