" I don't and i won't get married to him...last and final time i am saying this and that's all, what language do you understand woman!?" laura and her mother had been fighting a lot about laura getting married to shawn and laura had always resisted the thought but tonight was enough.

" Listen girly, you and shawn are getting married and ill make sure that you do, understood. Now go in your room and rot there." Laura dashed up to her room and locked herself. Angry tears ran down her eyes as she looked at her father's photo. "Help me papa... please come, i need you... please.." she said as one after the other her tears fell on her father's photo. " I don't want to get married to him... he loves someone else papa even though i like him.. i am just 21 and a leading CEO but still i am studying biology because mom wants me to..i have always listened to her then why is she likes this towards me..." she cried.

Laura's mother had always been hostile towards her thinking that she killed her father.

He was the only one who loved her and was the only one whom she could go to. But her mother believed that she was useless and her brother Nick would carry the pride of the family forward because according to her, her daughter, was a 'disgrace'. But not that laura cared now. Because all she was looking forward to was getting up tomorrow and coming back from work as late as she could.
