The Burning Fiend

Chapter 53 - Entering The Wolf Den

After talking about the edicts of life for two days Reynolds was ready to look for George before returning home, but Catherine still have a few things to say. "Are you coming with us to the Necropolis of the Gods?" he was still wondering how her neutral voice could be so different from her laughter, it was as if she was a different person.

He shaked his head again amused at how easily he found himself distracted. "No unless I have to, after all I have just became a Demi God and I think that in around a 100 years I will be able to become a Full God as the two laws that I'm trying to gain enlightenment are apparently the two with the lowest difficulty among the Fire Elemental Laws. You don't seem too happy to enter the Necropolis of the Gods". He asked a little doubtful, after all entering as a saint and entering as a god should be completely different, even if she gained enlightenment during her expedition she would required years of training before that enlightenment could be reflected in power.

"Gaining understanding on the edicts of life is too difficult within a low level plane like the Yulan Continent and the Necropolis of the Gods is attached to this plane so there is no significant difference for me, I guess I only hope to gain a Full God spark but that it is too difficult as well". She sighed frustrated causing Reynolds to frown.

"Why would you fuse with a Full God spark? That would break your future potential completely, wouldn't it be better if you fuse your saint body with elemental sparks? At least your path within the edicts of life would not be broken, Lord Beirut mentioned that fusing with a divine spark made it almost impossible to improve and your only hope will be to fuse with a higher level divine spark". His tone was curious but there was a slight disappointment that did not escape Catherine's perception.

She sported a sad smile and said. "You are right perhaps I am too hasty but I don't belong here". Reynolds looked at her still frowning but his tone was softer. "You have already waited 5000 years, is it impossible to wait a few centuries? I'm pretty sure that Lord Tarosse will eventually leave this plane as I will do in the future when I'm at least a Full God with self protection abilities, you could join either of us and wait until you became a Full God by yourself before going to the Life Plane... sorry after all I'm only been alive for 50 years I have no understanding of what it means to live for 5000 years." He laughed as he understood that he had been disrespectful.

Her smile was soft as she said. "No need, you are right... loneliness blurred my reasoning, I should wait for a while longer. Thank you Reynolds". They parted ways after that and Reynolds extended his spiritual sense and found George on a building within the capital and to his surprise he was talking with Yale. Reynolds smiled and soon was seating between the two brothers and joined the conversation before they realized he was there making them jump in fright.

"Fourth brother! Y-you!" Yale sighed in frustration and continued. "Third brother is always complaining that you tease him too much and I thought he was exaggerating... but really!" Reynolds was laughing at their expression and started telling them how he had pranked Linley and the other saints and how the beautiful priestess of the Frozen Goddess Shrine almost ended in tears, soon the three of them were laughing imagining how furious and frustrated their third brother should had been.

"So fourth brother, are you a God?" George was surprised and felt that he needed to increase his efforts for what the youngest of them was telling him, even Windsor was already stronger than them, Yale seemed specially depressed by this. Reynolds had maintained his mischievous smile since he arrived and chuckled before answering. "Yes, I am a Demi God... the second weakest of the deities within the Yulan Continent".

They laughed again and kept talking for hours, George was already married and had two daughters who were 15 and 12 years old while Yale had become the Chief Administrator of the Dawson Conglomerate and even if he had no time to play, as he used to do, he seemed happy and motivated by the challenges that came with his new position. Reynolds tried to motivate his two elder brothers to train as he didn't want them to die, in the end they parted ways and he started his way home.

A couple of days later Reynolds's saint body was sitting on the grass while trying to ponder the aspect of healing during his meditation but soon a visitor interrupted his training as he found that Bebe was there looking at him curiously unsure if he should interrupt or not. Reynolds smiled and opened his eyes. "Bebe, it is rare for you to visit. Did you have a quarrel with third brother?" Bebe seemed angry like a jealous kid that had been denied candy. "Hmmp... that old man was suppose to be my grandfather, I'm happy that he gave Boss an opportunity but why can I join in as well?"

Reynolds was curious. "Oh, can you tell me about it? Why didn't Lord Beirut allow you to join third brother?" Bebe seemed happy that someone was listening to its grievances and started explaining. "Grandpa said that Boss was close to start fusing the laws of wind and that it was important for him to start as soon as possible so he used an artifact to create an illusion in which Boss would be facing many enemies and dangerous situations for a year so he could gain entrance to fusing the laws. But he said that I was too lazy and it would be a waste of time for me, that I need something much more expensive to help me".

'An illusion created with an artifact in which third brother will face dangerous situations for a year... that sounds quite useful', he then looked at Bebe and said. "If I did not understand wrong, then Lord Beirut told you that he would get a better opportunity for you and that it will be expensive, still he will get it for you. So why are you upset?" Bebe blinked at him and started jumping in excitement. "Really? I tought that he said I was hopeless... but he meant... ohh!" Without another word Bebe was flying at high speed in direction to the center of the Forest of Darkness leaving Reynolds chuckling and shaking his head.

'Well it seems that third brother will get a good opportunity but an illusion should be limited, I guess it will take him a while to become a Demi God. hopefully not too long, it will be too bad if when he became a Demi God I'm already a Full God and I would lose my opportunity to bully him'. Reynolds's smile seemed sinister now and he chuckled standing up, since he was not in mood for training it would be better to go and play with Windsor and Jenne.

He soon found Windsor who was about to start her training but he arrived and hugged her from behind while biting her ear making her yelp. "Master! It is the middle of the day!" her melodious voice complained making him chuckle. "Ohh... is it? Then can you make me stop?" He said mischievously as he freed her full b.r.e.a.s.ts from the cover of her warrior training suit and started playing with them. Windsor resigned to her fate and started to undress while murmuring. "Master is a bully!"

---

The days passed and soon Catherine, Cesar, Dylin, Tarosse and O'Brien were ready to enter the Necropolis of the Gods, Beirut had accepted Reynolds's reasoning that it was too soon for him as he might have no problem to become a Full God within a 100 years. He planned to ponder the laws and edicts calmly while digesting his adventures and gains during his excursion to the Necropolis of the Gods.

One day he finally realized that the lazy-ass Bolt was not around and asked Koral about it, she chuckled and said. "Tha ball of fur annoyed me with his never-ending laziness so I kicked him out and told him to not come back until he became a saint... and if he didn't come back within 10 years I will find him and eat him, he still has 3 years left." Reynolds was amused but he thought that Windsor would have been depressed at the time.

Days become months and soon it was already two years since Tarosse and the others had entered the Necropolis of the Gods while Reynolds kept his happy routine of training and playing with his companions. Koral had found the point of fusion for the fire elemental essence and the flame body but her understanding of the flame body was only an entrance to the mystery. Still it was a huge gain for her as she would be able to become a Demi God without bottleneck as long as she slowly increased her understanding on the flame body and merged the two laws.

The only surprising thing during this two years was that today he could feel that Rosarie was making her way to his island as if looking for him. "What does this little vixen wants? Is she entering the wolf den on her own free will?" Reynolds murmured while chuckling and decided to eat her if she were to give the slightest opening.

She soon arrived and bowed respectfully to him while greeting him. "Lord Reynolds!" Her melodious voice carried a hint of apprehension. He kept silent for a moment while c.a.r.e.s.sing her slowly with his eyes making his way up from her feet and delaying a short moment to appreciate her long legs and her abundant b.r.e.a.s.ts. "And to what to I owe the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e of your visit Rosarie? Did you decided to be a good girl and came to keep me company? How kind of you... it would not be polite to refuse I guess".

Rosarie was blushing and trembled slightly. "Lord Reynolds, I-I was hoping to gain a little guidance on my training from you". Reynolds smile deepened as he said. "And why would I do that? Unlike the War God and the High Priest I have no interest in taking disciples... are you planning to become my maid in exchange of my guidance? You should know that there are no free meals on this world... what do I gain and what do you expect from me?"

Rosarie had taken two years to think and she realized that if she remained as priestess of the Frozen Goddess Shrine she would not be able to change her ways as she had no time to train while attending to her duties, she had been obsessed with Cesar but he had no intention to take care of her in any way making her feel lost. She needed guidance to improve again as the inertia of thousands of years weighted on her and she was not willing to ask for help to other saints due to her pride.

submitting to a deity was different, her pride would not allow her to go to Cesar anymore and O'Brien could not help her as he had fussed with a divine spark himself and had no idea of how to help a saint becoming a deity, the evidence to that was that no one of his disciples had ever reached the realm she was looking for. She was not willing to go to Dylin or Tarosse as the divine beast did not seem to care for humans and was reluctant to go to the High Priest but she did not understand herself why.

Her best option was this youth who enjoyed teasing her and had expressed a clear interest in her, but he wasn't naive and would not give her anything for free. She sighed and resigned herself unwilling to go back and lose another opportunity.

She untied the ribbon behind her neck that held her dress in place and let it fall to the ground and stayed there n.a.k.e.d for a moment as Reynolds's smile relaxed satisfied with her actions. Her body was a work of art... long legs that seemed to make 2/3 of her full height, her hourglass figure, her round abundant b.r.e.a.s.ts that seemed immune to gravity and her long jade hair that reached to her waist perfectly complementing her beauty.

He waited for a moment enjoying the wonderful view and chuckled when she said. "Master, I'm yours". He stood up and walked slowly to her, c.a.r.e.s.sing her cheek with his finger making his way down slowly while exploring her neck and then stopped between her b.r.e.a.s.ts making her yelp, then he carried her in his arms and went back to his seat placing her on his l.a.p as he started exploring her b.r.e.a.s.ts while biting her right ear.

"Very well Rosarie, from now on you are mine and also part of my family. Do not make me regret this as I will show you no mercy, do you understand?" Reynolds's voice was commanding without giving place to refusal. She m.o.a.n.e.d in her melodious voice and responded. "Yes Master, as long as you don't abandon me I will be yours". At this moment Reynolds touched her chin and turned her face to him and then slowly kissed her lips...
