The CEO Who Hates Me

"Please enjoy your stay," Arya revealed a wide and sweet smile to their guests. 

She was at the front desk that time for her daily rounds as the Manager.

She had bought a beach resort near their house with the money they had got from the transfer of her father's company to Rita's group. The family who previously owned it put it on sale since they decided to leave to another country for good. 

Their family had been operating the beach resort for almost five months now. With her management, the business was doing well. They mostly had tourists from nearby countries or guests who liked to take a vacation out of the city for a good nature ambiance to relax.

The basic features of their beach resort were infinity and l.a.p pools, a gym, basketball courts, function halls, and spa.

She walked towards the reception area and saw two girls giggling while watching the television at the lobby of the hotel.

Arya creased her forehead and followed their gazes. It was Ryu's interview on a talk show as the youngest successor and CEO of the largest and most diversified conglomerate in the country.

Arya smiled adoringly, as she stared at his handsome face on the screen.

For the past five months, she was stalking his whereabouts through the internet and found or saw him only at interviews like this or him being featured in magazines.

'You did great. I am happy you are doing well.' She said silently as she continued staring admiringly, just like the two girls sitting on the couch.

After a while, she left the area and walked towards the hotel restaurants to continue her rounds.

There were two restaurants. The resort has both indoor and outdoor seating areas. One was the RK dining area facing the beach and the other one was AT Beach Bar and Grill that served seafood and barbecue. 

Additional seats were on the second floor which was gazebo type. There's a bar by the pool which was the Tower Bar. When it came to the suites, there were four suites with corresponding amenities, depending on each type.

Upon checking everything out, she walked to the beach and sat on a beach chair. She stared at the ocean that looked serenely by this time.

"It's been six months already. Three more months to go, Arya." she murmured then followed with a deep, long sigh.

She was startled when she felt warm hands on her shoulders.

"Hey there, you're in very deep thought, huh?" A familiar voice said from her back.

Arya turned her head, as she sharply stared at the hands that were on her shoulders.

The man laughed and said, "Oops, sorry. I forgot about your claws."

"Stop frowning or you will shoo away all the guests, besides, I am one of those loyal ones." He said still laughing.

Arya just showed him a made face and asked, "When did you arrive?"

"Just now, I straightly started looking for you because I've missed you," Shawn said straightforwardly and sat beside her.

"Miss my b.u.t.t. Get lost! You are bothering my privacy," she hissed. 

Shawn was courting her, but every time she turned him down. However, the guy was persistent and was maintaining his visits every month, although, he worked and lived in the City. 

She actually didn't know much about him since she never bothered to ask, but she could feel that he was a good person. He was someone whom she could treat as a good friend. 

"You're always mean to me. Anyway, I take that as a good sign. I know and feel that you are very comfortable in my presence. I will go now before your claws appear and scratch me." He said then winked at her before leaving with a loud laugh.

Arya inhaled and exhaled loudly then blew air on her forehead. 

She couldn't move on, she couldn't even imagine herself being in a relationship at this time after what had happened.

Though it was true that she was comfortable with Shawn and liked him, it's definitely not the same with Ryu. Her feelings for Ryu were deep.

'Just how deep they were, Arya? Was it already love?' she asked herself silently then sighed once more.

"Sir, everything is ready. We are just waiting for your signal." Chen said as he looked at his Big Boss.

In five months, Big Boss had proved himself worthy of the position to take over the company. 

As per his agreement with Old Master Ken, all the details regarding Arya were provided in an instant, including the culprit who had dared to mess with him.

However, Big Boss wanted to deal with his first love first and not the culprit.

According to Big Boss, he would deal with the culprit later on. He wanted to see how far that person could go just to mess with him.

So, right now, his only and main focus was to get back to his first love. 

"We are leaving now." Chen heard Big Boss speak.

"Noted, Sir," he answered and quickly left the room. He had learned his lesson. He was more proactive and more reliable now because Big Boss had given him a second chance.

After Chen left, Ryu smirked as he stared at Arya's photos on his computer.

"I told you, you won't get away from me that easily, Arya Tan." Ryu murmured.

This time around, he would make sure that she would not be able to escape from his grasp.
