The CEO's Dark Wife

Old Master and Old Madam Hua were stunned. They didn't expect her to say that. Old Master Hua was curious but he didn't try to know why she chose Lu conglomerate. As far as she has plans of taking over the family company from him, he had no problem.

"OK.. that's not a problem" Old Master Hua said. Hua Ruo Lan and her parents talked about so many things and Old Master and Madam Hua were very happy that their daughter had changed so much. They were very pleased.

Back at Wang Fang's house, Wang Fang,Hua Er Bao and Ye Ruo Shi were busy discussing the benefits they would get from Hua Ruo Lan's downfall.

"By the way..where is Mu Feng?,I haven't seen him since" Wang Fang asked as she turned to Ye Ruo Shi. Ye Ruo Shi explained what happened to Mu Feng.

"See mother...I told you something is wrong with Hua Ruo Lan" Hua Er Bao said.

"Yes...you are right...it does seem a little suspicious" Wang Fang said.

"Ye Ruo Shi..you will have to go to Hua Ruo Lan, find out what she is up to and come and report to me immediately meanwhile Er Bao will be joining the internship at Lu conglomerate so that she can get closer to Lu Qian. Everyone already knows that Lu Qian married from the Hua family but they don't know who. We can use that to our advantage." Wang Fang said.

Later that day, Ye Ruo Shi went to Emerald Mansion. She was going to invite Hua Ruo Lan to go shopping with her but Hua Ruo Lan wasn't home.

"Where did Ruo Lan go to?"Ye Ruo Shi asked a servant as she stood in the lobby.

"I'm sorry Miss but I don't know where the Madam went"the servant answered.

"OK I'll wait for her"Ye Ruo Shi said as she made her way towards the west wing.

"Excuse me Miss you can't go in there" the servant said as blocked Ye Ruo Shi.

"Tell me who do you think you are?!...how dare you block me?!..do you know that you can loose your job for this?" Ye Ruo Shi lashed out.

"What's going on here?" Hua Ruo Lan asked as she held her son and walked towards them.

"Ruo Lan this servant is despicable.. can you believe that she didn't let me enter the living room?..as if I'm a stranger" Ye Ruo Shi said hoping that Hua Ruo Lan would get angry and fire the servant but to her greatest surprise, Hua Ruo Lan didn't do anything. She only told the servant to take Lu Jin to his room.

"When did you come back?"Hua Ruo Lan asked.

"Yesterday" Ye Ruo Shi answered.

"By the way..where did you go to?" Ye Ruo Shi asked curiously.

"I went out with my son" Hua Ruo Lan answered as she went into the living room while Ye Ruo Shi followed her.

"You went out with Lu Jin?!!...that's unlike you"Ye Ruo Shi said. Hua Ruo Lan didn't answer,she only smiled at her.

"Ruo Lan..I heard that you didn't sign the divorce papers?, why?, are you not tired of living in this house?,why did you come back?" Ye Ruo Shi asked as she looked at Hua Ruo Lan waiting for an answer.

"Where did you hear that from" Hua Ruo Lan asked.

"Oh..Er Bao told me" Ye Ruo Shi replied as she looked at Hua Ruo Lan.

"Ruo Shi..you just came back yesterday and the first person you call is my cousin and here I was thinking that you are my best friend" Hua Ruo Lan said with disappointment.

"Ruo Lan it's not like that...I didn't call Er Bao..she called me and said that she hadn't heard from me for a long time so we started talking and then she told me that you didn't sign the divorce papers" Ye Ruo Shi explained.

"I didn't sign the papers because I don't think I need to rush anything" Hua Ruo Lan said.

After a lot of chatting, Ye Ruo Shi finally left Hua Ruo Lan alone. After sending out her application,she needed to prepare for the interview which was the most important. Hua Ruo Lan sat on her bed. She could just bypass the interview and directly enter the program after all she is the CEO's wife but she can't do that. She needed to be independent and she doesn't even have the guts to tell Lu Qian that she wants to directly enter the program without doing the interview. After all she's done, she was sure that he would probably hate her more and besides she needs the element of surprise to be able to get rid of the venomous snake she calls cousin.
