The CEO's Rented Wife

The maid and the fitness instructor saw Aunt Ning and Lina smiling at each other.

Aunt Ning was pretty relaxed after seeing the girl. 'The power of money' she thought.

"I am here to accept the offer," Lina informed Aunt Ning.

"Shh.. shh! Silent!" Ning gestured Lina to stay quite as she looked at her maid and the fitness instructor. "You two! Please, leave me alone with Lina," ordered Ning as she signaled her two employees to go inside the house.

Ning walked towards the white sofa sets that were placed near the pool. "Lina, come here! Sit with me," said Ning. Lina walked and sat with Ning. "I'm listening," continued Ning.

"I thought a lot about your offer.. the job. I've decided to do it. Plus, I would be needing about half the amount in advance," admitted Lina as she observed Aunt Ning's expression with great attention. "Actually, I wouldn't have liked to get into something like this. But, I need this money immediately due to some family problems. I am ready to do this job," accepted Lina.

"That's great!" Ning clapped her hands. "Nothing could have cheered me this much.. after my exercise session," smiled Ning.

"Ahmm! But, I have some conditions," hesitated Lina.

"What are they?" Ning asked.

"I won't touch anyone.. And, I don't want anyone to touch me. Please, don't ask me to do something like that," requested Lina.

"Don't worry! I totally understand. No one will force you to do that," commented Ning.

Lina smiled. That was a big relief for her. But, there were more questions that she wanted to ask. "Thank you for understanding. Now.. as you have accepted my conditions.. and, I have accepted to do this job, I wish to ask something from you. Err.. What exactly do we do to get the task done? I mean.. how do we make 'the man' fall in love with me?" doubted Lina.

Ning stared at Lina for a few seconds.. and then noticed her condition from top to bottom, looked into her eyes, and spoke again with a little hesitation. "In this condition.. it's going to be impossible. You need a complete transformation. Everything needs to be changed.. your looks, your way of walking.. talking, the way you sit, stand.. what you eat, how you eat.. everything," remarked Ning.

"Ahmm! Ok! And?" Lina asked

Ning continued. "Girl! You need to learn everything about the man... what he likes, what he dislikes.. his eating habits.. his dressing style.. his complete schedule. I want the man to be totally comfortable with you. And not to forget.. dependent on you. This will be a big help in our plan. As an assistant, you have to manage everything that concerns him. Plus, you have to learn a lot about the work that he does. I will get someone who will explain you everything about the work," Ning continued.

"That is too much," grumbled Lina.

"So is the money that is being given to you," winked Ning. "Don't worry! We will be starting your training from tomorrow morning. The first step in your training program is to change your fashion sense. The man is very particular about what he wears.. and will certainly notice your dressing sense. We need to make it more.. refined," explained Ning.

"Mrs. Ning, I understand what you are saying. And, I am ready! W..would it be possible if you could pay me the amount now? I have some liabilities that I need to get cleared. And I, wish to clear them today itself. But, trust me.. I will be here tomorrow morning for my training," convinced Lina, as the thoughts of his kidnapped brother and the angry landlord worried Lina.

"Yes, I trust you dear," smiled Ning as she called her maid, and ordered her to get her cheque book. Ning signed the cheque that had $22,000 amount written on it and gave it to the girl with crimson colored hair.

"Thank you so much," smiled Lina as she folded the cheque and kept it in her pocket. "See you tomorrow," Lina said and stood from the sofa and walked towards the exit door.

In next two hours, Lina got her brother, Bob, released from the mafia, and paid the three months rent to the landlord. Her satisfaction knew no boundaries. She thanked God for everything and immediately called her grandmother on her phone to tell her about the Bob's release. Grandmother was mighty pleased and relaxed after hearing the news. But, another thought troubled her at the same time.

"Lina, how did you arrange for so much money?" asked an anxious grandmother as she held the mobile near to her ear.

"Grandma, I got a new job," replied Lina.

"Lina! Do you think I'm stupid? I want to know the truth," bossed grandma.

"Grandma, I swear I got a new job. And took advance from my boss. The company gave it to me and will cut it from future salaries. I told them that I need the money urgently, and they listened to me and agreed," explained Lina.

"Lina, I know something is not right. But, for the time being, I'll accept what you just said," remarked grandmother.

"Grandma, relax. Everything is fine now," Lina requested. "Bob will reach home soon. He is all swollen from the beatings that he took. He has gone to the hospital to get first aid. He will be there with you soon," shared Lina.

"Thank you God," sighed grandmother. "Let that stupid boy get healed soon, because he's going to visit the hospital again.. from the beatings he's going to get from me," scolded grandmother.

"Bye grandma! I'll be back home soon," said Lina.

"Take care, my child," blessed grandmother.

Lina walked towards the seaside again, to give her brain a little time to reflect upon everything that had happened and to mentally prepare herself for the training that was to start the very next day.
