The CEO's Rented Wife

Smith had played a very important role in Aunt Ning's plan. Not only he had improved Lina's image in Wang's mind, but had also prevented Wang from checking about Lina's background from the human resource department. As Smith constantly praised Lina, destiny ensured that Lina worked hard and carried out all her job related tasks with full energy. Everything seemed to be working out in a very harmonius way. But, for how long?

Wang and Smith, who had been discussing about Lina all this time, walked to the scene of the shoot to check the proceedings.

Miss. Sparklet Johnson was being photographed by John, as Lina, who stood near to the scene, waited for any orders from the team members. This was a very important moment for the company. A successful shoot with Miss. Sparklet Johnson would ensure that Wang Fashion House's share value would grow many a times and the competitors would have to face lots of financial losses.

The shoot was being carried out at the area where waves could just reach the feet, so as to make the photographs more beautiful and attractive. Photoshop software would do the rest.

A large, naturally shaped, rock was placed at the area where waves would hit it, giving John and the other photographers some beautiful shots to capture on their cameras. Ms. Johnson was supposed to sit on the large rock and pose for the shoot. The male model would stand near to the rock and pose along with the actress.

CEO Wang's sharp observation was at work again. "John! I don't like those footwear that Ms. Johnson is wearing. These are of more formal nature. They would fit an office scene, and not a beach scene," pointed out Wang. "Get Miss. Johnson to wear these," Wang ordered John as he pointed at the latest luxury sandals on his ipad.

"Are you sure you want to replace these footwear? I think they match well with the outfit," John tried to make his point.

Wang had full confidence on his observation. "Please, hurry up. Get it replaced. We have a lot of outfits to shoot," ordered Wang.

John was already freaking out due to the high performance pressure. He knew that he had no other option but to get the footwear that Wang wants. He hurriedly looked for the helpers so as to get the footwear from the storage van.

"Hey! Get me these footwears," John yelled at a female employee. But, there was no response. Everyone was busy, as they ran to and fro the beach.. from vans to the other shooting scenes. And some were busy resting. Sun's heat had already drained out all their energy.

There was none to answer him. And, this was making John more frustrated.

"Can someone get these footwear from the van?" yelled out an irritated John. "My God! This heat from the sun is killing me," he sighed.

Lina's super energy was at work again. "Mr. John, I'll get them," assured Lina. She looked at Wang, so as to get permission from him.

Before Wang could say anything, Smith spoke out. "Go girl! Run!" cheered Smith, as he smiled at Wang to express his confidence in the crimson haired girl.

It took Lina only a few minutes to find the required footwear from the boxes stacked in the van. John, Smith and Wang were impressed at the girl's efficiency. Chunhua couldn't be more irritated. Aunt Ning watched everything that was going on, from her binoculars, as she sat inside the car.

"I'll help Miss. Sparklet in changing her footwear," declared an over-excited Lina as she ran towards the rock, on which the Hollywood actress sat.

"Okay! Hurry up, Lina. You are a savior. I wish my assistants were as fast as you," praised John. Little did he know what was about to happen.

Lina ran towards the Hollywood actress, as she carried the footwear in her hands. Miss. Johnson sat on the rock and was trying to remove the footwear that she wore for the shoot earlier.

"Don't worry Miss. Johnson. I'll help you," smiled the crimson haired girl as she bent before the rock and tried to pull out the footwear that Miss. Johnson was wearing.

"Hurry up!" shouted John.

"Errr.. Let's get this footwear out from your feet.. fast. The man is shouting," said Lina as she applied a little force to open the sandal's strap. "This strap is stuck," sighed Lina as she tried to remove the footwear.

As John, Wang, Smith, Chunhua and Aunt Ning observed what was happening from their respective locations, a disaster happened.

As Lina applied force to open the sandal's strap, Miss. Johnson who was sitting on the rock, lost her balance and fell down from the rock.. on the sand filled water. Unluckily for Lina, Miss. Johnson's fall and the incoming wave happened at the same time, leading to a huge splash of water from the actress's fall. Miss. Sparklet was a mess. Her clothes and her hair were wet and full of sand.

Lina tried her best to hold the actress before she could fall down, but failed. Her foot got injured in the attempt to save the actress.

"Oh My God!" shouted John as he ran towards the actress to help her.

"What the hell!" shouted Smith, as Wang and Smith hurriedly walked towards the shooting scene.

Miss. Dongmei, Lina's mother, was smiling as she watched the scene of the accident through her binoculars from inside her car. Something was making her feel satisfied.

Aunt Ning was furious. "I am dead!" yelled aunt Ning as she pulled her hair in frustration. "This girl is going to get fired now! The plan is over! Our life is over! Our mansion is gone! All the money is gone!" Aunt Ning yelled as she pressed her right eye, which was twitching uncontrollably, with her fingers.

"Calm down! Tell me what is happening," said Jack as he watched his wife going crazy from all the stress. "Either tell me what is happening or give those binoculars to me," insisted Jack.

"That girl has ruined everything," cried Ning.
