The Chained Husband

He didn't know how long he was lost in his thoughts , but a sound of opening of a door pulled him out of his thoughts . It was a nurse who was there to check on little princess's condition as it was a critical point of her treatment as the predicted time was around the corner and soon she would be awake . As she was checking little princess , she noticed that Sam was sitting on Vanya's bed while holding her in his arms . Her expression instantly changed , there was rumors that this almighty CEO is a rude person but the man in front of her wasn't that ruthless or cold instead it would be correct to say that  he had a caring personality .

Noticing his caring side , his worried and confused gaze she felt an unknown emotion surging inside her . 'Wasn't this a perfect family !! Beautiful wife , capable and caring husband , and a lovely daughter', she thought .

Just if they hadn't encountered something like this they would be the happiest family that everybody dreams to have.

While seeing a trace of anxiousness in his eyes , she decided to comfort him a little . Although she wasn't sure that should she really have the right to comfort him or not but still his anxious expression and caring side of his she decided to comfort him a little . "Don't worry CEO , they are out of danger and will be awake soon" she said and turned to leave . After hearing those words he felt more assured . Vanya was sleeping soundly in his arm so he settled her on hospital bed again and covered her with blanket . After making sure that both of the patients were lying on their bed comfortably he again went to the window to look outside before sitting on the sofa placed near it.

Having a thought about the scene happened earlier he dialled a number , it was picked after just ringing once , " Any information ?",he asked .

Before there could be any response the gate of the ward was opened once again . On turning his head Sam saw a nurse entering with a mask covering her face as he was on an important phone call he didn't bothered much about it and continued his call while having a look on her actions . She injected some fluid in little princess's IV drop and have a look on Sam , sont know why but Sam noticed a strange flash in her eyes that made him a bit panic but before he could intercept and take any action she had left . He felt something strange about the look nurse just gave him .

'May be I am being too considerate and observant' he thought and slide down his back on the sofa and rested his head at the backside of sofa while closing his eyes to get some rest . He was about enter in slumber but before he could , he was wide awaken by the beeping sound of monitor [here by monitor I mean the systems used in ICU or hospitals to monitor patients condition - it shows pulse rate etc.] that was connected to little princess to monitor her condition . Little princess's body was shaking and she was sweating hard . Seeing her in such condition and hearing the beeping sound of monitor his heart felt like broken , he was scared , he instantly pressed the bell located near little princess's bed to call the doctor .
