15 – {Reunion with the Duke and Duchess Artin} 2

{Reunion with the Duke and Duchess Artin}

Ceres looked like someone who had gone mad.

If her attire had not been for an elegant dress suitable for a duchess of the Duke of Artin, it would have been impossible to find her current appearance as a duchess.

“Ahhh! Theodore! It’s my mother! Ouch, it’s my mother!”

She looked at Theodore like Ceres was her madman, and she appealed that she was a mother.

“I’m sorry, ma’am, but my parents are at the Duke of Skyroad in the Arkhan Empire. It seems you’ve mistaken them for someone else, so you’d better calm down.”

Theodore smiled softly again and encouraged him to calm down, but Elliott, who was looking at him before he knew it, also muttered blankly.

“Are you really not my son?”

Elliott felt that Theodore, who was so much like her own, she doubted that he was really Theodore, the son she was looking for.

But she couldn’t immediately be sure it was her son, even when she saw herself, who, unlike Ceres, kept a more composure, and Theodore, who looked so much like William.

“Yes, I am Theodore Skylord. You are Duke Artin, right?”

“…That’s right. I am the Duke of Artin, Prince of Skylord.”

Elliott said that she was treating the restraint of a duke in a foreign country. However, his eyes that kept looking at Theodore were not sure that Theodore was really his son.

“Theodore! It’s a mother, don’t you know her?”

As Elliott was holding her, Ceres, who was unable to reach Theodore, stretched out her hand and spoke as if appealing to Theodore.

Suddenly caught up in this situation, Dean Albert and Yuria had embarrassing expressions, and Yuria in particular continued to look into Theodore’s gaze.

In Eliot’s eyes, she was the image of her fiancée, concerned about her fiancé in an embarrassing situation.

“I just visited Duke Artin and I had something to tell you. It went well.”

Elliott said that she was an international student who had just come from a foreign country and that she had something to say to her.

“What do you mean by that?”

“Here, the dean apologized…But I would like to investigate the disrespect that William of the Duke of Artin committed to my fiancée, Princess Yuria Arsane, as a fiancée.”

As expected, it was William!

Duke Artin, who thought he had outrun William, realized that he was late.

Ceres also momentarily stopped moving.

“William…hah! What the hell did my son do?”

She asked, suppressing her aching headache as Elliot pounded her head.

I was afraid to think of what kind of accident he had in front of the international students.

Hopefully it wasn’t a big accident, Theodore looked at him and asked Yuria.

“What do you want me to do? Or do you want me to tell you?”

“I will, Prince Theodore.”

Yuria took a step forward first.

“Greetings to Duke Artin of the Britannian Empire. My name is Yuria Arsene of the Arsene Duke Family of the Arkan Empire.”

Yuria bowed politely.

She was not dressed in a dress, but in her plain clothes as a prosecutor, but the way she greeted her with her hands together in a modest manner was more elegant than any other woman in her dress.

“…As you already know, he’s Duke Artin.”

“Yes, Prince William of the Duke of Artin, he has done something unbearably rude. I will be honest with Duke Artin.”

Yuria’s voice turned cold.

Although she was hoarding, the insult she received today was truly heartbreaking because she never imagined she would go through something like this.

“When they saw me, they said that they would kill everyone, that it would be delicious because of their big breasts and plump buttocks. Then they forcibly grabbed me and said that they would make me have a child of their own.”

The faces of the Duke and Duchess Artin hardened.

What the hell am I supposed to say about this?

To humiliate the eldest daughter of the Duke of Arsane, a duke of a foreign country, in front of her fiancé?

“If Prince Theodore next to me hadn’t stopped him, I would have drawn out his sword to protect myself.”

Yuria said in her cold voice as if warning.

“I will notify the Duke of Arsene about this and make a formal protest.”

“Huh, I understand. I will formally apologize and offer a reasonable compensation.”

Duke Artin let out a sigh and nodded his head.

“By the way, William, do you have any idea where the kid went? He’s going to have to catch him…”

“I don’t know. He pointed his finger at Prince Theodore, but suddenly he screamed and ran away.”

“It’s true, Duke.”

As Dean Albert helped out with Yuria’s words, Duke Artin was astonished but had no choice but to believe that Yuria’s words were true.

“Honey…William’s accident, but what about Theodore? Theodore is ahead!”

When the story of William’s accident was over, Ceres went into a seizure again, anxiously searching for Theodore’s name.

“Calm down, ma’am.”

Theodore asked as Eliot struggled to appease Ceres.

“If you’re Theodore, are you referring to the son you once lost?”

At Theodore’s question, Elliott nodded her head with a distressed expression.

“Yeah. About 10 years ago… about 11 years now.”

When Elliott finished her words, Ceres burst into tears.

She looked at Theodore with her weeping face on her face as she spoke in a pleading manner.

“Huh! Theodore! Why are you pretending not to know your mother? It’s your mother! It’s the mother who gave birth to you!”

“Madam, calm down! Calm down!”

As Elliot comforted her, Theodore asked.

“Looks like the Duchess keeps mistaking me for her son…Even though it was 11 years ago, do I look that much like her son named Theodore?”

It occurred to me that Theodore’s question was a question Elliot naturally had.

However, neither the crying Ceres nor Elliot could bear to answer that question right away.

“Why is that?”

Theodore asked the two of them, who were suddenly silent, as if asking why, and Ceres started to cry.

“Theodore…sigh, sorry mom…”

“Why are you doing this all of a sudden?”

Theodore’s questioning reaction erased Elliott’s suspicions that he might be her son.

‘Yes, it must be someone who resembles him.’

If he had been Theodore, he would never have asked what was going on with the same calmness as he does now.

“Whoa, it’s embarrassing, but…My wife and I don’t know what Theodore looks like.”

“Yes? How is that possible? If it was 11 years ago… wouldn’t it be when you were 10? When you were 10, you would have spent some time together.”

“…I didn’t look for it. I never even tried to see its face. I don’t know if I’ve just walked past it, but I never thought about it carefully.”

“Huh, Theodore…”

Ceres started weeping again.

“Even so, aren’t you the son of a duke? Do you have any photos left? Are there any portraits of servants based on the comments of those who remember their appearance?”

“…It’s embarrassing, but it’s not. I’m really ashamed to say this…I think either me or my wife at the time were really crazy about the fact that the chosen one was a son. Theodore’s picture didn’t even make it last when he was two years old, I’ve never had a meal with him, and I didn’t even try to find out how he was doing. I heard that since he was a child, he’s been eating leftovers in the kitchen to survive or cook with ingredients to fill his stomach.”

At those words, Yuria’s blue eyes widened in shock.

The fact that Theodore, the eldest son of the Duke of Artin, ran away from home because he couldn’t overcome discrimination must have been a story known to some extent even in the Arkan Empire.

But she couldn’t understand that she was no one else, and that the Duke of Artin hadn’t even served her real son a proper meal in the same place as her, and hadn’t even seen her face.

“I don’t understand. Wasn’t it your biological son? He couldn’t have done anything wrong after he was two years old?”

“…I mean. What’s even more embarrassing is that we don’t seem to know exactly when our son disappeared. Because of this terrible sin we committed…my wife is doing this…please excuse me.”

“Okay.”

“…Thank you. You look so much like my son, William, that my wife probably sees you as Theodore. I apologize again.”

“Yes, Duke Artin. By the way, is Prince William really the chosen one? Seeing what he did to my fiancée today, I can’t help but think that such a person would be the one to save the world?”
