The Chronicles Of Elijah

4 months has passed since the incident , Elijah has cleaned up all the loose ends from that day . He decided to up the security of his parents to not repeat the kidnapping debacle .

After making sure the future of his company is set for the next year and giving some research direction to Eve , Elijah prepared to leave the country . Saying goodbyes to his parents , whom he explained that he was born with superpowers and that he's no mutant following the earlier rescue , he took a backpack and put on stealth mode and took the air heading toward Nepal to meet one of the most powerful entity in the universe .

Elijah arrived in Japan 10 hours later , he rested in Tokyo while touring the sites . The day after , he continued to Kathmandu . He dropped in the ground and walked around Kathmandu as a mean to announce his arrival to The sorcerer supreme . After 2 hours of walking around while searching for Kamar-Taj, he stood in front of the wooden door of a beautiful building with a mysterious hint , he could feel mysterious energy radiating from the door . Elijah stood for about 30 seconds when an old man opened the door and said : " She is expecting you ."

Elijah thanked the man and followed him to a medium sized hall where he could see a dignified woman with a bald head wearing a monk traditional clothing . She smiled while motioning to Elijah to sit down . He bowed slightly to her and he sat down in-front of her . Elijah was amazed at the amount of power radiating from her . His respect for her kept rising as he is in front of one the oldest heroes that protected the multiverse .

" Mr Müller welcome to Kamar-Taj. It's an honour to meet someone who changed the world so much while still so young ." Said the ancient one citing the feats that Elijah performed using his inventions specially in the medical field and also his extensive work in helping people with special needs .

" i just do what i can , it can never amount to the work you've done for so long . " said a thankful Elijah .

" it's my duty . What can i do for you in this lovely day? " asked The ancient one .

" I came today for a selfish request . I would like you to be my teacher in the mystic arts " said Elijah while bowing slightly.

" Why ? I can feel that you are powerful. Why would you need more power ? " inquired The Grandmaster sorcerer.

Elijah looked thoughtful for a while and he replied earnestly:" I might not be as skilful as you in divining but i can feel that dark times are coming and most of them will impact the earth. I might not be the hero type but i won't let worlds to be destroyed . "

The ancient smiled elegantly in understanding and thought for a while then said seriously :" 400 years , i would like you to protect the earth for the next 400 years . If you agree , i will take you as my personal disciple . "

Elijah expected this kind of request as the ancient one is very diligent in her duty to protect the earth and the multiverse .

He took a deep breath and agreed immediately to her request . He then opened his backpack and took a beautiful shining Black box and handed it over to her ceremonially and affirmed : " Please take this as my thanks . "

The ancient one took the box and opened it to find a syringe with a vial of blue liquid . She looked questionably at Elijah as he took to explain :" This is the best life extending serum i made personally. It can extend the life span of a person for 500 years in the minimum . It has other properties such as increasing strength and speed and endurance, basically a more potent captain america serum with life extension ."

The ancient looked quite amazed at Elijah's genius and grateful at his gift because despite her pride , she still feel shame from drawing power from the dark dimension .

-Next Morning-

Elijah woke up at dawn and did his morning workout , after that he had his breakfast and now he is waiting for the ancient one in the private training hall . She came in and greeted him and introduced to him the mystic arts then said :" Your eyes see the world as it is , you let your mind always open to new possibilities specially since you have power above normal men . I think it's time i introduce you to new concepts ." Then she swiftly pushed his astral body to a ride through the multiverse . Elijah's astral body swiftly regained consciousness and he opened his eyes and concentrated firmly to benefit from this ride to help further his multiverse understanding and wisdom . Elijah's brain and soul worked hand in hand to understand laws and theories indirectly depicted in the universes he's riding through . Slowly and steadily new concepts and understanding ingrained itself in his brain and he could feel his eper powers sore through multiple levels as if he had been shackled and now he's free . At the end of the ride , the ancient one returned his astral form to his body and she could see his sapphire blue eyes radiated wisdom like he lived for an eternity.

" It seems you benefited a lot from this ride . " said the ancient one as Elijah acknowledged her with a nod , she continued her lecture :" sorcerers draws energy from two sources . One internal which is used for basic and fundamental spells , the other is external drawing the energy from the moon , the sun , planets or the universe and lastly from other dimensions . This energy is mainly used for complicated spells , rituals and enchantments .

The language of the mystic arts is as old as civilization. The sorcerers of antiquity called the use of this language spells. But you can call it a program, the source code that shapes reality. We harness energy drawn from other dimensions of the Multiverse to cast spells , to conjure shields and weapons , simply to make magic!" Explained the ancient one while demonstrating.

Elijah took in all the information and nodded in understanding.

-1 year later-

Two people could be seen battling each other using different kind a spells and martial arts in the mix . After a long drawn fight . The two figures , one clad in a black Shihakusho with white long hair flowing behind his back while the other figure dressed in a yellow monk's clothing, stopped sparring . This of course are Elijah and his master the Ancient one .

She smiled at Elijah and said : " you've grown considerably this last year . Your use of spell is unique and effective."

It was true , as for the last year she took in to torturing Elijah . She didn't held back in teaching him the wonder of mystic arts since she found out that he absorbed knowledge speedily ; as well sparring with him . After taking the serum , her body strength rivalled that of Elijah and this made him spar seriously and learn earnestly from someone who lived for more than 700 years .

During this year , Elijah used his LOHP to scan the whole Library of Kamar-Taj, then he compiled a several flawless books such as

Using these books, Elijah's understanding of mystic arts grew exponentially and with the help of The Ancient one teaching , he mastered more and more knowledge in the field of mystic arts . And like she said spells are like programming , she was right as Elijah found himself looking for correlation between science and mystic arts in his free time .

Elijah surprisingly smiled brightly and answered cheerfully : " It's all your teaching Master . "

Surprisingly The Ancient one relationship with Elijah was more of a Grandmother to a grandson . During this year and the time spent together . The ancient one began to care for Elijah like a grandson and he also treated her as such as he could always feel closeness that of a family with her .
