The whole people in Pavilion turned at the direction from where the sound appeared.

They looked at a beautiful woman stood with contrasting clothes. Those torn and dull clothes didn't match her beauty.

Yet it didn't hide all her beauty.

Maya looks at Sarah and gasps "Who did this to her?!".

The Soldier who slapped Sarah before, turned towards Maya. He hisses with murder intent "Do you even dare to open your mouth?!".

Maya chuckles in a ridiculous tone "Now who are YOU to order others to what they have to say?!".

Maya frowns looking around the crowd. She wonders what had she done so shocking!.

'This man is not any God, is he?! Then why are they fearing him as if he landed from sky?!'.

The man's eyes turned cold and grunts "Kneel.Down! And. Beg. Me. If. You. Want. To Live!!".

Maya frowns but her voice is serious "Not even in your dreams You Filthy Thing!".

Maya hears another round of gasp from the crowd and tries to focus on the mad 'thing' before her.

The man declares harshly "Grab her and make her kneel before me!".

As soon as those words left from his mouth a group of men approaches Maya.

Maya smirks "It's a shame that a soldier of this country couldn't able to make me kneel but sending a pack of 'things' to do it for him!".

The man's eyes turned even colder hearing her words and steps forward himself grabbing his sword.

Maya mocks "No wonder You are just a Filthy Thing! Seem you aren't ashamed to fight with a person with no weapons!".

She didn't mention him as a man yet and threw his own words back on his face. And She also didn't mention herself as woman because the 'thing' before her should realize that any woman can kick his life out.

'This man doesn't even deserve a kick from woman but it's needed now!'.

Maya gets alerted as the man raised his sword ignoring her comment.

'Did I mention before about my weakness? But I have a solid strength too! Don't try to fit me in your stereotyped image of fights with Swords and Archery!. I was trained in Kalari. An old form Art of self defense. It's a shame I was forbidden from that before I Master it..'.

The man charges on her with his swords but Maya dodges the attack by leaning aside and kicking his abdomen with all her strength!.

Maya looks around hurriedly as the man 'thing' can pound on her any time!.

She looks around and finds a shield near her. Without any thought she leaps away from her spot to grab it.

As expected, the man charged at the spot where she was standing previously. Only the metal sound of hitting the empty ground can be heard.

Maya lifts the shield in a skilful way surprising everyone. Including the man 'thing'.

The Man charges at her instantly leaving no time for her to fight back and Maya dodges his every attacks. She blocked his malicious attacks with the shield easily for now.

The loud sound of metals striking with each other made the silent Pavilion to become noisy all of a sudden!.

Soon Maya realizes, that her hands were shaking weakly due to lack of practice. She had stopped practicing before years!.

She has to find a way before that 'thing' kills her!.

Before she could think of a way, the man's sword cut her arm harshly.

Everyone was expecting Maya to kneel before him after receiving that deep cut.

But to everyone's surprise, Maya left her grip over the shield. It fell on the ground stirring fear in everyone!.

Maya was not even noticing people's whispers as she was busy tying her saree cloth over the injury.

She didn't dare to ignore it like last time. She felt her body stated heating up increasing the blood flowing out. It drenched her yellow cloth into crimson red within few moments.
