The Commoner Consort: The Country's Respected Empress

Maya drags Celina from behind and yells  pushing her hard "Grab everything to live if you fall down!".

AHH!

With that sentence, Celina was thrown on to the ground fortunately, but not far from the cliff. Celina staggers away from the edge of the cliff and only then hears the sound of broken trees and branches sliding from the sides of the edges into the dense forest under the cliff.

Maya was not sure about her strength while pushing Celina, as she is 'normal' now, without the effect of her Curse.

However, she didn't had enough time to hurt herself to gain strength and then push Celina.

She could only give her the life 'advice' before she too falls God knows where. She doesn't even know whether Celina reached the ground or fell with her.

But she only knew that she took her own life advice very seriously. She grabbed every branches and vines subconsciously in the survival instincts.

The Royal Palace.

Meanwhile when Maya was going to visit the scenery.

Prince Xavier appeared in front of the Emperor's chamber immediately after Madam Mary went personally to bring him.

He asked his mother about the matter but she only told him "Your Father found a solution to build the dam!".

Xavier was surprised at first "What?".

Madam Mary smiles nodding subtly "Xav, Have patience. I hope you impress your Father this time too".

Xavier asks impatiently "What is the solution, Mother?".

After Madam Mary explained him, Xavier nods appreciating "Then I will meet with the Emperor of The Southern country as early as possible!".

Madam Mary smiles "Good! But hear your Father's words before leaving. I already informed him that you would agree at once".

Xavier nods and enters into Emperor's chamber only to return sullenly within few minutes.

Seeing his mother waiting outside, he swiftly changes his sad face into normal one.

He informs "Brother might reach the Courtyard anytime. Tell him that I would meet him very soon".

Madam Mary nods with a serious expression after hearing about Kalki's arrival and assures "I will inform him. Be rest assured".

Xavier's face turned sullen again instantly as soon as he turned his face away from his mother. He didn't like the Emperor's idea of inviting Lady Maya to the Royal Palace tomorrow.

The bitterness for his father in his heart increased when his father instructed him to invite her personally as she is a family.

'I still can't believe this is happening to me!'.

Xavier has been rushing towards the Countryside Pavilion. As he was nearing Her place, he was thinking to not even stay there more than few minutes. Not to mention his intention of not even looking at her.

'Pay the greetings. Invite her and fly from that place!'.

This was his agenda until he heard some noise from the forest near the Countryside Pavilion.

He wholeheartedly preferred looking into the matter first to the 'awkward' meeting in his plan.

He kicks Charles hard and crosses the Countryside Pavilion's entrance without glancing it even once.

As he was reaching the place where the source of the noise is, he felt Charles running even more faster than he expected.

Xavier gets suspicious about Charles's behaviour and focuses on the sound.

Within few minutes Charles is reaching the place and Xavier freezes seeing an unimaginable scene in front of his eyes.

"Jesus Christ!!"

A girl is falling from the cliff, whirling in midst of the vines and the broken branches. The branches which would weight tons are already rolling towards the river after it hit the ground.

Due to her light weight and the extra efforts of her own 'advice', she is still hanging and falling.

'I wonder whether she would survive'

Even though Xavier knows that Charles is a well trained horse, he was taken by utter surprise when he fled towards the falling girl in extreme speed.

'What happened to him suddenly?! What did he sense?!'

Xavier keeps his doubts aside and rushes to a particular place where he already analysed and expected her to fall.

As the girl was nearing the ground, Xavier hops from Charles and jumps to save her. He is not sure whether he could save her, but he decides to try putting his complete effort.

But to his surprise, the girl just then stopped falling and heard a sharp cry from her.

Ahh!

He only then realizes that she grasped the  strongest vines among those which had covered her like a cocoon covering a silk worm. That made her to stop falling hard on the ground and break her skull.

But she had hurt her whole body in the process as the creeping vines are ripping her body by her sudden pull.

'How did she do it?! She managed to stop just before hitting the ground! If she had delayed even a second, she would have gone to heaven by now! This girl and her ability is quite strange!'

Ahh!

THUD!!

She falls with a light thud, as she released her grip after realizing the safe height from the ground.

Hearing her scream, Xavier gets out from his trance and asks concerned "Are you alright, Lady?!".

He grabs his sword and cuts the vines just with a swift motion. Within a moment, the vines fell freeing the girl completely.

If anyone has seen this, they would have marvelled by his motion and his rare talent with swords.

Xavier kneels down after keeping his sword back and turns the girl who was lying on her stomach facing the ground.

GASP!

Only a single huff of gasp escaped his mouth seeing the girl's face. Everything felt very surreal to him.

'Why?! Why can't I avoid seeing you?! And how did you end up in this situation?!'

A string of thoughts itched his mind in midst of his complicated emotions.

Subconsciously he pats her face "My Lady?!"

He looks above the height of the cliff from where she fell in horror and panics "My Goodness! Is she still alive?!".

"I am not dead yet".
