The Commoner Consort: The Country's Respected Empress

Maya gets angry and holds her head "How could they?! I shouldn't have come here!"

'I should go back before he gets me trapped again! What would I do if he finds me again?!'.

Sarah stands silently sensing Maya's tension.

Bhommi speaks "How about killing him before he dies by your curse?!"

Maya gasps in horror "What?!"

'Killing him?!'

Sarah gets startled and looks at Maya worriedly "What happened?"

Bhommi giggles "Sister Maya, you just scared her!"

Maya asks Sarah "Why do they want me till noon?"

Sarah states "There is a gathering in the Imperial Court tomorrow at noon. There will be discussion about the construction of the dam near the Countryside Pavilion. I have never heard any Lady from Royals attending the political gathering after Empress Claudia".

Maya raises her eyebrows enlightened 'So, that's why! If not for that idea, I would have long gone to the Pavilion now!'.

Bhommi elevates in air slowly and asks "Don't you want to see him dead?"

Maya looks at Bhommi darkly 'Why would I want him to see dead?!  Why are you implicating my mind?!'

Bhommi pouts "Poor man! He just got Cursed by you!".

Maya blinks dumbfounded 'When did I Curse him?! Why are you blaming me for no reason?!'.

Sarah asks worriedly "Did Crown Prince inform you about this?".

Maya scoffs in her heart 'As if I am his wife…'. She requests "Sarah, can you leave me alone?"

Maya is having a headache by conversing with both Bhommi and Sarah at the same time. Maya sighs relaxed seeing Sarah walking out of the chamber.

Maya frowns irked seeing Bhommi pretending swimming around the chamber "Stop playing around and explain me! When did I curse him?!".

Bhommi says "Didn't you wish him to die while escaping from that court?!"

Maya fumes in disbelief "What?! I was just scared! That does not mean he would die because of my wish!"

Bhommi declares looking at Maya darkly "He would! You should have thought about it before wishing something from me!"

Maya "…." What have I done now?!

Bhommi pouts pitifully "Poor man… Such a waste! He would die by the hands of whomever he was searching today"

Maya rubs her forehead and asks remembering something "How is he now? Is he dead?"

Bhommi scoffs "Why do you care? Do you like him? Why do I feel otherwise?"

Maya creases her eyebrows "I do dislike him! That does not mean I want him to die! I wonder what happened to him now!"

Maya walks out of the chamber and looks at Sarah standing outside of her chamber. Maya purses her lips embarrassed 'How could I ask her about him now?'.

She asks Sarah reluctantly "Did something happen?"

'If someone has entered the Palace, then she would have known about the news…'

Sarah asks confused "What are you talking about?".

Bhoomi declares "He is sleeping in his chamber, Sister Maya!"

Maya "…" How does she know?!

Bhommi smirks "See? She is so useless! Stop asking her help from now on! I am here to help you, aren't I?"

Maya asks Sarah while looking around "Why are you standing here? Did you not go to sleep?"

Sarah smiles "I will once you sleep. We can't leave our masters when the lights in the chamber are lit. You might need something and I should stay awake till you sleep".

Maya gets stunned enlightened and nods before going back into the chamber 'I never know this girl would be standing awake till I unlit the lamps!'

Bhommi sighs audibly "Let her pretend! As if she is really loyal to you.."

Maya rebukes "It is not a crime to be loyal to her King. Stop blaming her for everything!"

Bhommi complains "She keeps on saying herself as your servant but still sold you to that man!"

Maya asks tiredly "Will you not sleep?"

Bhommi smiles "As long as you ask me to. I will do whatever you ask for and will fulfil whatever you wish for!"

Maya frowns seriously "Then why don't you free me from this curse first?!

Bhommi pouts "I can't! Until we find the other one!".

Maya gets irritated "Then ask for my acknowledgement after I ask you something. I have already cursed that …Do you have any way to free him from the curse?"

Bhommi shrugs "You should be the one answering the question, Sister Maya. Because, you are the one who wished his death!"

Maya gets irked "Alright!" and thinks about a solution.

'What if he gets attacked when no one is around? He would die because of my stupid wish! I could save him if I am around-'

Bhommi laughs "Someone said that she doesn't like that man.."

Maya sighs "I wish I could be there to save him only whenever he is attacked by the same people by whom he was about to be attacked today!"

Bhommi chuckles "So be it! But why not attacked by other people? What if he gets attacked by others?"

Maya smirks "I am only responsible for my mistakes, Little Girl! Not his!"

LAUGHS

Both laugh heartily before they go sleep.

Maya already forgot about the gathering in the Imperial Court tomorrow.

Kalki's Chamber.

Kalki is lying on his bed with his eyes closed. He has been thinking about something seriously and suddenly sits hearing something.

He gets out from his bed and looks around "Didn't I hear someone?!"

He gets frustrated and rubs his neck. He recalls about tomorrows gathering and frowns suspiciously 'Why is father involving her in the gathering now? Since when she became so close to my father?!'.

He walks back and forth in deep thoughts.

'How did she survive from The Earth's most poisonous snake?! Was she really in her chamber that night? If she wasn't there, then where did she go? How did she kill Stephen?!'

He never would have thought that a mere commoner would steal his precious time of sleep. Now he is so engrossed in analysing every information that he heard about her.
