Maya really wanted to slap herself once for following that stupid servant here. She tries to turn back to go but Veronica grabs Maya's wrist in advance predicting Maya's move.

"Where are you going, Your Majesty?! Don't you have lessons to teach the Royals?!".

Maya grits her teeth hearing Veronica's disdain filled tone. It took every ounce of her self-control for Maya to not push Veronica down in anger.

'What if this girl's immaturity cost another life like that woman? If not for this girl, the whole situation would have been in a different state! If not for her involvement, this entire investigation would have turned towards the mysterious person behind the attack! Wait… Why not use this chance to threaten her? Would she fear to any of my threatenings? At least let me try once! Who knows? She might stop being nosy as long as my matter is concerned?'.

Maya smirks "Then why can't you accept the punishment for your crime of trying to kill this Majesty?"

Veronica gets irked by Maya's sudden statement "…" The nerve of this woman!

Seeing Veronica looking around embarrassed Maya smirks broadly "What happened to sister-in-law? Did I mention something right?".

'Seems she is scared to reveal her truth in front of everyone?'

HA HA!

Veronica laughs wickedly as if guessing Maya's thoughts again and claps her hands twice.

Maya gets stunned to see the servants leaving the place at once. Within few minutes, she finds the whole Pavilion empty.

This didn't made Maya to scare at all, she only finds Veronica's act imm.a.t.u.r.e. Not to mention, Veronica is younger than Maya by three years.

Moreover, Maya never looked Veronica as her threat but she is just concerned that Veronica's immaturity could cause some dire issues in her already-disturbed life!

Maya sighs boringly "What do you want now?"

Veronica creases her eyebrows "Kneel down before me and pay my greetings!"

HA HAA!

Now it was Maya's turn to laugh out loud. She laughed out so loud as a result Maya stands holding a pillar for her support and gasps "You are really hilarious, Little girl!"

GASP!

Hearing a loud gasp from Veronica only made Maya to laugh again and wonders "Have you always been like this, Little girl? I think you should have taught an important lesson in your young age!"

Veronica glares at Maya harshly and Maya forwards her hand "In my country, the parents would always pinch their children's ear while teaching them some life's hard lessons".

Veronica almost screamed sensing Maya's hand near her ear but Maya smiles getting her hand back. She pouts innocently "I can't do this to you as you are nothing but a stranger to me. Wouldn't that be unfair to punish a stranger?".

Veronica was completely shaking in anger. In the whole country! Nobody has ever had the audacity to behave with her in the way Maya was behaving!

Maya speaks in a warning tone "Have you heard of your General Christopher who asked me to do the same thing? Seems, you didn't hear the news?".

Veronica fumes in anger and grabs a sword from a sword holder hung against the wall "I swear I would end your life today!"

Maya looks around with a smirk and snaps her finger staring at the floor beneath Veronica's foot.

CLASH!!

THUD!

In next moment, Veronica fell on the floor with a heavy noise as the sharp and shiny metal sword too fell with her on the floor.

Maya purses her lips 'I do not want to use the magic normally. But this girl should be taught an immediate lesson!'.

Seeing Veronica supporting her palm on the floor to stand up, Maya looks at her darkly and waves her fingers mysteriously so that Veronica could not get up on her own.

Veronica has turned red in complete embarrassment and bites her lower lip hard while trying to digest the humiliation! 

Maya's eyes soften seeing Veronica and kneels beside Veronica "Are you satisfied now?".

'After all… She is a Princess! I am a commoner.. I myself would feel humiliated if this happened to me.  Not to mention she is the Crown Prince's own sister! It's legit that she expects me to kneel but she doesn't know something very important thing! I only kneel when I want to!'.

Veronica whose eyes are already filled with tears of rage, creases her eyebrows viciously "I won't be satisfied till I remove you from My Brother's life!!"

Maya was taken aback by the protectiveness oozing from Veronica's eyes and asks in shock "Were you doing all this for this?".

Veronica humps displeased "I don't want a mere commoner like you as My Brother's Queen! He deserves the best! The best Princess who has born in Royalty!".

Maya tries to help Veronica but she jerks her hands away by yelling "Don't touch me with your dirty hands! I hate you! I hate seeing a commoner next to the Crown Prince of our country!"

Maya declares in a cold voice silencing Veronica "Then ask him to send me back!".

Veronica "…" Did I hurt my ear? Send her back? Is she stupid? Did she lose her mind?

Maya hisses grabbing Veronica's hand harshly "Use your filthy instigating Royal mind to remove me from his life with some legit plan! Instead of using your ugly plans to scare me, better you talk to the brother of yours to send me back like how he brought here! If you really want to scare me, then forget it! Because… I.fear.no.one!"

Veronica shivered at Maya's final words and gasps in horror. She has never experienced this whole situation in her life! 

Maya stands and yanks Veronica back to stand on the ground. This took Veronica by complete surprise as she never saw any woman who is so strong like Maya!

Maya glares at Veronica sternly "I believe you have learnt your lesson?".
