The Commoner Consort: The Country's Respected Empress

Bhommi ignores Eros and runs back to Maya anxiously "Sister Maya!".

She tries her magic spells to wake her back but Maya is still unconscious no matter how hard Bhommi tried.

Eros looks only at Maya and asks worriedly "Did I really scare Her Highness to this end?!".

Bhommi is now looking at Maya weirdly, as if Maya is fainted out of shock, she would have woken by now. She mutters taking a keen look at Maya completely "I don't think so…".

She closes her eyes and holds Maya's hand. She creases her eyebrows and struggles to concentrate in whatever she is trying to do. Within few moments Bhommi gives up her try.

Eros walks next to Maya protectively and speaks slowly in a tone filled with guilt "I wanted to show my skills to Our New Queen. I didn't think Her Highness would be this fragile-".

Bhommi interrupts "She is not!".

She looks at Eros and explains seriously as if she wants Eros and 'others' to get something very important "She might portray herself as weak in front of the world. But she is concealing something strong within her which you and your world would never be aware of. So, stop your nonsense and help me take her somewhere".

Eros neighs raising its legs in disagreement "I am taking Our Queen to the Royal Palace. We will save with the help of The Royal Infirmary. Not to mention Our Prince Xavier might be here in no time-".

EROS!!

Bhommi "…"

Eros smirks smugly "I knew His Highness would be here anytime!".

Bhommi gets displeased and mutters under her breath "Stupid humans!".

Xavier has been searching for Maya for the whole time and he has no idea why the obedient horse of Royal Palace suddenly turned rogue.

When he finds them, his heart trembled in fear seeing Maya lying on the ground, while Eros is standing next her.

I wonder when his heart trembled last time seeing someone lying on the ground. Would he have even felt bad for killing tons of men in a war?.

However, he didn't dare to avert his eyes from her.

'She didn't have fallen down and hurt herself, did she?!'.

As soon as he reaches close to them, he didn't wait a moment to hop down from Charles and darts towards Maya.

He checks her in worry and gasps trying to wake her up "Maya?!".

Finally, Xavier calls her by her name. Now let's go somewhere.

Some unknown world.

A mystic divine female voice can be heard.

"Have you been well, Child?".

Maya finds herself standing somewhere surrounded by a misty place where she could see nothing. It was similar to the darkest place which Bhommi created to scare Maya last time. But this one looked little brighter than the previous one.

It didn't have the scary atmosphere. Moreover, it looked… divine and the voice too.

Maya gets back from some weird daze and looks around "Where am I?".

Even though she should have felt anxious about the new surroundings, she only felt complete peace in and around her.

I wonder whether it's because of the divinity filled place or voice.

"You are with me. Why do you care about the place, Child?".

Hearing the voice, Maya could only melt, as it was filled with sweetness as if someone who really cares about her is talking with her right now.

'Would this how a mother's love sound?'.

She doesn't know why she got this sudden thought and wonders how this woman already planted a feeling of respect for her in Maya's heart. She remembers Bhommi and asks looking around "Are you related to Bhommi? Did you teach her this magic? Can you teach me this magic too?".

Maya looks around aimlessly as her heart suddenly gets curious to see the divine face.

The voice replies with a subtle laugh "Poor Child. What could this simple magic even achieve in front of your powers?".

Maya gets anxious as she wanted to know more about herself and her powers from someone she could trust. For some unknown reason, she tends towards the voice and asks "Can you help me finding the purpose of my powers? I have heard many mythical tales and every tale tells that everything happens for a purpose. I know I have some purpose but I have to know what it is!".

The voice speaks almost felt like she was talking to herself "You are really cleverer in your younger self, Child. Just like I was told by someone, who is really clever".

Maya creases her eyebrows 'My younger self? What is she talking about?'.

The voice speaks seriously "I am here to fulfil your wish, child. You can choose only one wish from three wishes I propose you".

Maya is flabbergasted to hear her and gasps "Wishes?!".

She mumbles "I do not even know what I should do with this existing power! How can I even know what I should wish for?! Should I wish to get rid of these powers from me or to know the reason behind my powers?".

The voice hums worriedly and wonders "I think you misheard my sentence? I only asked you to choose one from three. You have to ask for a single wish from whatever I am providing you. Why don't you hear the three options first?".

Maya purses her lips embarrassed and nods awkwardly 'Did I exaggerate in my anxiety?'.

The Voice speaks solemnly.

 "Wish 1. You can have a chance to return back to Hindustan at once but with your Curse".

Even though Maya couldn't see the face, we can. We can also see the knowing smile plastered on the woman's face as if she could guess what Maya would choose.

Seeing Maya's face turned bright hearing the first wish, she continues with a smirk

'Let's make it harder for you'.

"Wish 2. You can have a chance to know that someone whom you could trust the most in this place. As you would be chosen to be here as a Queen by neglecting the first wish".
