The Commoner Consort: The Country's Respected Empress

Xavier enters the chamber cautiously and asking looking at Maya standing "May I?".

Bhommi giggles "He is even asking your permission! I can't believe he is a Prince of this powerful country!".

Maya could feel herself smiling at the comment but ignores bhommi for now. 

'I have an important thing to do! I cannot divert myself!'.

Maya nods at Xavier and says "I am fine now. I want to go back to The Pavilion".

Bhommi "..." She is one of a kind, isn't she?! She doesn't care anything other than Her goal!. She doesn't care about anything till she does what she wanted to be done!

Xavier cringes at her sentence and says rubbing his back of his head "That.. I apologize-".

Maya nods hurriedly as if that doesn't matter anymore "I forgive you. You do not have to apologize for earlier anymore. Just send me back to Pavilion, will you?".

Xavier smiles helplessly and stands hesitantly as if he is in a difficult situation.

'Would she forgive me for this new  'mistake'? She didn't like being invited to the dinner last time. Now how would she react after hearing this news?'.

Maya frowns noticing his timid gestures "Why are you... acting weird?".

She knows his expressions well. His anger, his subtle smile, his mad snort, even his sneaky way of looking. She is not accustomed to this new expression. But that doesn't make him less charming anyway.

Xavier stammers "That... Xand-.. *cough* Xander asked.. you to..".

Maya is getting a bad premonition of his sheepish smile now and remembers the name 'Xander'. Xavier mentioned the name while fetching Charles and Eros from the barn.

Maya shrugs suspiciously "What would a horseman ask me to do?".

Xavier blinks dumbfounded ".." Horseman? Who?

Maya gasps "Did something happen to the horse?".

'I do not remember anything happening to the horse... Did something happen to ..Poor horse.. It talks too! What if it was the only horse that could talk in this country?! Who knows... it might have been the only horse in the while world! Did something happened to the horse when I went to see he Empress?! Heavens!  Did I make the horse die?!-'.

She doesn't realize that she already started treating Eros with less hatred. While mentioning it as hatred, it would be suitable to say that her fear on Eros us reduced a little by now.

LOUD COUGH!!

Maya looks at Xavier's shocked face and asks "What happened?".

Xavier suppresses his cough and asks "What did you say? Xander is who?".

Maya shrugs blankly "The horseman? The one who ..trained or raised Eros? I only remember as you said-".

Xavier clears his throat and suppresses his broad smiles. He states in an expressionless face "I am here to inform you that The Royal people are invited to the Southern Country-".

Maya gasps in surprise "I understand now! So, you are trying to say that you will leave me in the Pavilion while you go to the Southern Country!". 

'Once I go back, I will ask everything about the cold prison to Sarah! And I will ask Bhommi to help me-'.

The next sentence from him hit Maya hard.

Xavier smirks "Seems you forgot something, My Lady? You are the Queen Consort of the country now. With that title, You will probably the Guest of Honour!".

Maya'sbright smile disappeared instantly "..."  Very well...

Xavier feels bad for dragging Maya into the Royal issues selfishly but he also knows that he needs her help.

He asks "We are invited there regarding the Dam constructions. I felt right. ..you accompanying me there since you spoke well in the Imperial Court this noon. I would like to have your presence there".

For some reason Maya recalls the Empress's mocking sentence before.

'Did you finish your performance in the Imperial Court then?'.

Maya tries to reject his invitation "I was just speaking ... How would I know more than you about your country?".

Xavier smirks "I am not taking you with me for that only reason, My Lady. Follow me. We will be leaving soon".

Saying so, Xavier walks away from her.

Maya is about to call him.

Bhommi squeals "Sister Maya! Didn't you hear him?! He will not leave you alone! Try to ask him about the Cold Prison incident! Who would know better than a Royal family member?!".

Maya closes her mouth with a sudden thought and asks in her mind 'Would he answer me if I ask? What if he gets suspicious? How could I ask him to tell the secret? He would not tell a stranger everything, would he?'.

Bhommi smirks "Then fool him! As long as you get to know the secret, nothing matters!".

Maya frowns at her sentence 'Fool him?'.

Bhommi insists eagerly "Why not? Didn't you see yourself? He likes to accompany you to the Southern Country! Don't miss this opportunity, Sister Maya! If you want to close the door, I need to use the Forbidden Magic spell!".

"The Spell is not like any other Divine spells. It has to be created with high knowledge. Other Divine spells are already written for all times. We can use them irrespective of time whether it's used in past, present and future! That doesn't change the effect of the Spell. But The Forbidden Magic spell is very dangerous!".

"If we try to create without a proper knowledge of the Past and Present about The Cold Prison, it could cause a Catastrophic future!".

Maya only then understands the importance of the spell 'No wonder its called The Queen of all Divine Spells! That's why The Empress used her wish as a gamble to summon me to the future?! Why would I want to close the door in future? Because I started liking in being a Queen?... Never...it can't be.... I never like being a Queen...It's a big luxury which could not afford to carry on my shoulders!'.

Maya walks out from the sick room and looks at Xavier waiting for her patiently.
