The Controller Emperor

Chapter 26 - Finding A Handsome Doctor

While Diana was unconscious after receiving the unwanted roses, Anna and Luna were cared for and given intensive and infernal training by Mrs. Jones.

The poor girls were so exhausted that they slept as soon as they touched the soft bed.

On Monday, Anna was sent to Dunkelheit Conglomerate headquarters along with Diana. It would be her first day as an assistant officially. And on her first day, she already felt a little hopeless. The job was really easy, taking care of Diana, the hard part was dealing with the rigorous schedule, the mountains of important doc.u.ments and information, and the careful eye of all of President Dunkelheit's staff, who were evaluating the quality of their work.

After an exhausting day, Anna finally took a cab to Diana's Apartment. She felt that the world could very well be propped on her shoulders.

After eating a fruit salad, the poor girl took a shower and lay on her bed. When it was almost inconsistent, his smartphone rang.

She looked at the number calling her and saw the name "Mrs. Beaufort." She then remembered that she had exchanged a telephone number with the old lady who passed out in C square.

"Mrs. Beaufort, good night." Anna answered the call in a quiet voice.

"Good night, honey. Long time no see. Get out of the hospital today and wonder if you have any free time tomorrow at 7 pm?"

"Well, I think so. What happened?"

"You promised to come with me to dinner, remember?"

"Oh, yes, I remembered!"

"Great. See you at the Palace Deluxe Hotel. You can say that you are the guest for the reservation made on the last name Beaufort. They will take you to the room where I will be waiting for you."

"Palace Deluxe!? This place is very expensive! I can not accept!"

Expensive was euphemism. This was an eight-star hotel under the Dunkelheit conglomerate. The price was exorbitant but for the Beaufort family it was not something to worry about.

"Do not worry, honey. My family can afford to invite up to thousand people to dinner at the Palace Deluxe without having money problems, let alone a little lady." The old lady laughed.

"Well, then I will accept. At 7 pm I'll be there."

"Great. See you tomorrow, honey."

"See you tomorrow. Good evening, Mrs. Beaufort."

"Good night, honey."

Anna glanced at the clock by the bed and grimaced. She quickly returned to the state of relaxation and finally managed to sleep.

The next morning Anna woke up very early. She got ready for the day and drove to the headquarters of the Dunkelheit Conglomerate.

The day was very quiet without the presence of President Dunkelheit and Director Aimer.

The aura around the office was very quiet and even a little lively after learning that the couple would take their vacation week to celebrate the wedding.

Anna still couldn't believe that Diana really got married. Her best friend hadn't even commented on it. Diana simply sent a message saying, "I got married. I'm taking a few days off. Learn well from Alexander's team. XOXO"

Anna felt a little betrayed. "What a f.u.c.k.i.n.g best friend. She got married and told me by message." She thought.

Anna tried unsuccessfully to call Diana. "Looks like she found out s.e.x is good and is enjoying her days off with her husband…"

At 5 pm, Anna left Dunkelheit Conglomerate headquarters and drove to Diana's Apartment. On the way, she called her best friend again, who finally answered.

"Cruel girl, did you get married and never bother to invite me !?" Anna shouted into the Bluetooth headset as she drove.

"Excuse me. It was not something you could see." Diana replied in a tired voice.

"Tell me, you're all sore, aren't you?"

"Yes. That cruel man. He abused this young lady for hours!"

"And you liked it, didn't you?"

"Yes and no."

"What?"

"Yes, it was great. No, it hurts after it's over."

"You should do stretching and yoga to stand your husband… healthy…"

"There goes my beloved sedentary lifestyle."

"Well, it was time for you to move your sedentary a.s.s and do something."

"Would you believe me if I say I'll beat you to death if you say that again?"

"Yes." Anna started to laugh. "I need a favor."

"Say it."

"Do you have any dress you can lend me to wear tonight? I have a dinner at Hotel Palace Deluxe, I can't wear my cheap dresses."

"If you find something that fits your fat a.s.s, feel free to use it."

"You know, if I didn't know you said my b.u.t.t is fat just to make me lose weight, I'd be depressed."

"Only idiots get depressed. Look in the mirror and say "I'm beautiful" every day. It's better than therapy. And who invited you to dinner at the Palace Deluxe?"

"Do you remember that I saved an old lady a few days ago and I said she has a super handsome doctor grandson? She invited me to dinner. By the way, the super handsome doctor looks like your super handsome husband."

"Oh, is that so? So should I wish you good luck with the super handsome doctor?"

"Don't be ridiculous. I probably won't see that handsome doctor again."

"What a pity. I think the long black dress with a slit on the right side and no back should fit you. The one that has an embroidery of silver roses scattered around the skirt. He's formal enough and will make you look attractive without being vulgar."

"It will be?"

"Clear. It's an evening dress, not a dress for an afternoon tea. If it was an afternoon tea, I would recommend a retro-style dress, something well behaved and beautiful. Oh, don't forget the scarf, has a silver silk that will match the dress. You can wear my black cashmere coat, the one with silver details. And beware of this coat! It's one of my favorites. And you can have those designer V shoes that you liked, Alexander bought an equal pair for my locker here at Dunkelheit Shine."

"Relax. I will be careful. And thanks for the shoes! That beautiful thing costs a fortune."

"I know. Never used it and its number is the same as mine so it will work."

"Diana, forgive me for calling you a 'heartless bitch' because you got married and told me by message. You're the best, I forgive you for not telling me properly!"

"When we see each other, I promise to tell you about what happened. Now stop cursing me."

"Thank you, really! I'll try not to curse you so much next time. Now I have to hang up, I have to get to the hotel at 7 pm."

"Okay, have a nice dinner!"

"Thanks!"

Anna turned off the car and got into the elevator to Diana's apartment.

She quickly found the dress and accessories she needed and got ready at the fastest speed.

At 6:30 pm she left the apartment and drove to the Palace Deluxe hotel.

Arriving at the hotel, she quickly met the receptionist and said she was invited to the reservation made on the surname Beaufort.

A waiter accompanied her to a private room and when she entered the room it was exactly 7 pm.

"I'm sorry for the delay." She said as she took off her coat.

By the door was a partition made of sandblasted glass, so Anna could see that someone was in the room, but could not tell the identity of who was sitting in the room.

Anna walked to the table behind the partition and saw the back of a man.

"Did you bring me to the wrong room?" She asked the waiter.

"No, Miss Anna. My grandmother is about to arrive." The man replied, turning his sublime body to look at the girl who entered the room.

Steve Beaufort looked even prettier than Anna remembered. He was truly one of the most beautiful men Anna had ever seen. It would only narrowly lose if placed side by side with Alexander Dunkelheit.

Not for physical reasons, but Alexander's aura was more potent, powerful, a little cold and far from everything and everyone, but it was sensual and s.e.x.u.a.l, dangerous and exciting. Steve had aura quiet, serious and sensual, not as s.e.x.u.a.l as Alexander's aura, but was still very s.e.x.u.a.l. He looked like a person who would not engage in worldly affairs such as an impartial immortal.

He was so handsome that he could be placed next to the great President Alexander Dunkelheit without looking out of place.

He was a vision given by the gods.
