The Controller Emperor

"Okay, let's stop talking about weird things." Diana sighed, a little startled by Alexander's serious, half-crazy eyes. "Well, how are we going to visit the rest of the property?"

"Here, a map." Alexander handed over some sheets of paper with various drawings of the castle and property plan. "You already know that the East Wing is where the medical center is located on the first and second floors. On the third and fourth floors are the quarters of doctors and nurses and older employees, such as Butler Jones and Mrs. Jones. In the South Wing are the bunker, the family's maximum security vault, a weapons and ammunition depot, and the security cameras' surveillance room for the entire property in the bas.e.m.e.nt, just below the training rooms. Speaking of which, you will come to a living room next to the surveillance room if you use the emergency exit to the south. From there, there is a passage to the garage, entering one to another bunker that is far from the castle. The security room where the gate controllers are located, the battlements patrol room and the guards' quarters are on the first floor. On the second floor are the rest of the guards' quarters, but this is the high-level and elite guard. On the third floor are the flight controllers, the meeting rooms and the guard personnel management room. On the fourth floor is the weapons and ammunition depot."

Alexander calmly pointed out all the rooms in the East and South Alas plant, explaining everything simply and efficiently.

"The North Wing is the busiest. It is the wing where the ballroom, the dining room, several tea rooms, my aunts and my mother's rooms, guest rooms and the general administration of the castle are located. The central wing is where the entrance to the tallest tower, the castle's largest library and a conservatory are located. I must say that it is very pleasant to read a book and drink tea in that conservatory. Now that you know the general structure of the castle, let's go out. First let's go east. This is where the various greenhouses are located."

"Right."

Diana and Alexander walked quietly towards the east after leaving the castle.

Almost five minutes' walk later, they found ten large white greenhouses with charming neo-Romanesque architecture, full of glasswork with white lace.

"There are three types of greenhouse. The six that produce edible plants, the three that produce medicinal herbs and a greenhouse with flowers. It is an environment used by the Dunkelheit ladies for tea parties between them."

The greenhouse was full of pots and beds. A white vase with beautiful dahlias was particularly beautiful; several vases with orchids of various colors and species, large vases with plumerias, chrysanthemums, camellias and several other species of flowers.

In a corner of the greenhouse, a bush of bridal myrtle bloomed beautifully.

"The Queen of the country E gave my great-grandmother a seedling of that bridal myrtle. She planted and cared for this bridal myrtle until her death fifteen years ago." Alexander commented as he followed Diana's gaze.

"Are beautiful."

"They say it is lucky to use this bridal myrtle in the wedding bouquet."

"You don't seem like the type of person who believes in superstitions."

"Who knows? This may actually work. I don't believe one hundred percent nor doubt one hundred percent."

"It's the best strategy."

"Indeed. Nothing is frighteningly surprising when you have a question about it."

The couple left the greenhouse and Alexander guided Diana towards the South, soon a huge neo-Romanesque building, but it was evidently a shed.

"What is it?"

"Garage. There's a helipad back there, see? This is where most of the vehicles on the property are located. In the beginning, here was a stable. My great-grandfather had it renovated according to the style of the castle and turned it into a garage. Lucky that the old man had vision and made the building on a large scale. Here, we can store four helicopters and three hundred vehicles without problems."

"How do you keep helicopters here?"

"Simple. When the helicopter lands, it lands on a platform with several wheels below. These wheels are locked during landing and when it's time to store, they unlock the wheels and use a vehicle to pull the platform into the garage. Want to come in?"

"Sure."

Alexander guided Diana to the large garage and opened the door using the digital.

Inside the garage, several luxury cars were parked, there was also a large military jeep and a helicopter.

"Hmm, were there two helicopters?"

"There are five helicopters inside the property. This one, one that is in a security area, used to evade attacks, one that is currently in the hangar, along with the jets and the one that is out there, that we are going to use now."

"Wealthy people are definitely overkill." Diana thought with a sigh.

"See, that's the transport platform I told you about." Alexander pointed to the platform below the helicopter. "Well, come on. There is not much to see here."

Alexander took Diana's hand and took it to the helicopter on the helipad outside the garage. He opened the door and helped her put on the seat belt and headphones. He walked quietly to the other side of the helicopter, entered it and after putting on his seat belt and headphones, connected to the flight control room and took off smoothly as if he had done it thousands of times, which fact did.

Diana looked over the entire vast Dunkelheit estate and was indeed overly large. There were two thousand square kilometers of total area. This is the size of a small town.

Alexander flew the helicopter south and a few minutes later, Diana saw a horse and stables full of thoroughbred horses. She saw a farm area with several animals. She saw a grain plantation area, but as it was now winter, there were no plants. She saw forests and wild animals, such as deer, rabbits and lynx. She saw lakes and cottages half hidden under the snow, the pines and other trees that were b.a.r.e. Only a gravel road connected the magnificent castle to the wilderness, with few impressions of human interference.

"This is usually a Bordô and Pinheiro forest. It is a wonderful sight in the fall. The Bordeaux turns red and the Pine remains green, contrasting with each other. The water in the lake is calm and crystal clear. It is one of my favorite cottages." Alexander commented as he passed a small gray stone cottage.

"Well, I believe that regardless of the season, this is a very beautiful place."

"Indeed. In front there are only more forests, this is the last chalet in the south of the property. Well, there are a total of twelve cottages on the property, we passed five of them. There are many beautiful places to see but, I believe that the aerial view is not so exciting. After twenty kilometers is the south wall and then the property ends."

Alexander headed northeast and more forests were seen. The hangar and airstrip were seen from above. And after a few minutes, three cottages came and went, all charming as the first five.

Some time later, a cottage that did not appear to have anything particularly relevant appeared. The cottage looked old and even a hint of abandonment, as if no one had lived in it for years, very different from the cottage in the Bordô and Pinheiro forest. In front of the cottage was an old well, the kind that uses a bucket to draw water from the bottom. The gray stones of the cottage, the well, and the small courtyard around the well were stained white by the snow that had fallen last night and the morning of the day.

"This is the chalet where you will find a car to leave in case of an emergency. Follow the gravel road and you will reach the east gate. It is the gate of the palace of receptions. If the family falls due to internal factors, nobody will think about the reception palace, so everything will be fine."

"What is this mansion for receptions?"

"We'll fly over in a few minutes."

A few minutes later, a three-story baroque palace made of gray stone, a beautiful Renaissance garden and a lake with green and transparent water appeared.

"This palace uses 17th and 18th century Baroque architecture, it is a work of art!" Diana exclaimed when she saw the beauty of the Palace.

"This was supposed to be the residence of the Dunkelheit family, but there were some problems at the time and my ancestor decided to build the castle. This palace is beautiful, but it is not as safe as the castle. The castle is very well hidden. So well hidden that everyone thinks the Dunkelheit family lives here, and they don't even imagine the existence of the castle. So we used this palace to host balls and parties."

" I personally like both styles. The neo-Romanesque style with some Hellenic characteristics make the castle a sight to be seen, as if out of a fairy tale. A fortress with convenience and is not like the medieval Romanesque structures that the windows are so small that they are almost nonexistent. The towers are charming and provide a magnificent view. The Baroque style is also charming in its own way. This reminds us of the great monarchical palaces, as if "King Sol" and "Archduchess of double-headed eagles" could be found walking through the halls."

The couple headed northwest and finally returned to the castle.

"It is not very safe to fly over the mountains, so let's leave the western region for another day. Did you like the tour?"

"In fact, I loved it!"

"I'm glad to hear this. How about a bath to relax?"

"It sounds like a good idea."

After reaching her quarters, Diana realized that she was deceived.

The relaxing bath made her end with a pain in her back and legs, but a lot of satisfaction. So she decided to ignore it.

Why fight when you're happy to be cheated in the end?
