The Controller Emperor

Chapter 4 - Tea time

Diana's condo was a six-story building overlooking the central park.

- Do you mind holding this for me? - Diana asked, handing her purse and bag to Alexander. - Give me two minutes. I'll be back.

The girl ran to a store next to the entrance of her condo and a few minutes later came back carrying two boxes to transport animals.

- We are ready. Let's go. - The girl smiled gently.

The couple entered the building and the elevator. Climbing to the fifth floor, Diana stopped in front of the door of her unit and lowered the boxes, taking the leather bag from Alexander's hands and catching the apartment keys.

The place was ample and the decor was in shades of red granada, pink, royal blue, plum closer to purple, cream, white and black.

Diana put the bag on a metal and glass next to the door and made a gesture inviting Alexander to come in and sit on the black leather couch with colorful pillows in royal blue, red garnet, pink and purple plum.

- I only have tea, water, and juice. Accepted? - Diana asked sweetly.

- Tea, please.

- What type? I like black tea.

- It's good. Thank you.

- One minute.

Diana knelt down and opened the animal transport boxes. And he took two big hairy cats out of the boxes.

- Mother missed you, my dear. - Diana said lovingly to the cats.

- Do you like cats? Alexander asked interestedly.

- Oh yeah. I love cats. Too bad I can not adopt a big cat. Well, I'm happy with my babies. I'll make you some tea.

Diana went into the kitchen and filled the electric kettle with water and put it in the socket.

One thing about Diana. She is afraid of fire. Since the death of her parents, the thing she most dreads is fire. She can not even cook like normal people out of fear of the fire and so she lives on food made in the microwave, electric pots and pans, or ordered in some restaurant. Never made by her using fire.

Alexander stepped into the kitchen and watched the girl turn on the electric kettle and pick up a pot of black tea leaves.

She put the leaves in the infuser and took a teapot of white porcelain, thin porcelain cups, saucers, spoons, porcelain pots one for white sugar, one for brown sugar, one for honey and a porcelain vase for milk and the other with juice of lemon.

- Brown sugar, white sugar or honey, you prefer? - She asked.

- Honey. Orange flower.

- Who uses another kind of honey for tea? - She grunted, rolling her eyes. - Milk or lemon?

- Milk.

She arranged the necessary items on a silver tray and when the water was warm, she put the water and the infuser in the pot.

Alexander noticed that the items used in his tea preparation, except for the electric kettle, were old items, good quality pieces, which he would easily find in the home of a good family.

In fact, several items in the girl's apartment were of that type. There were several silver picture frames on the wall and shelf in the room, along with antique porcelain candlesticks.

"I think this girl's family is not as simple as it seems at first. I really should investigate. "

Now, where would anyone from an ordinary family understand all the combinations for tea and have movements so experienced in art? Where would a person from an ordinary family have two-hundred-year-old gossip and silver frames and purely crafted, obviously made by a master in the room?

Her salary would not pay for a single bibelot of those, which were collector's items, not in ten years. And there were several.

- Let me take it. It looks heavy. Alexander said behind the girl.

- It's all right. Light. I'll get you some snack.

- Okay - Alexander replied, taking the tea tray to the coffee table in the living room.

- Well, here we are. I hope you enjoy honey bread and cream biscuits.

- Nothing against..

- That's nice. So tell me the details about tonight.

- Details?

- Who's the host. Who I need to pay attention to. Who should I ignore. What I should not wear ... things like that.

Diana's cats lay down at the man's feet on the couch as if he owned the house, and Diana's eyes widened. It must be said that her cats hate everyone but her. Even Jessie, the owner of the pet shop who takes care of them when she needs to travel is hated by the two furry ones.

- The host is the CEO of the FGT group of ventures. You do not need to pay special attention to anyone. You can ignore everyone if you want. You just have to stand by me and look beautiful and obedient. And I'm going to have someone prepare their clothes.

- I can take care of my clothes ...

- It's all right. Just try not to embarrass me.

- Do you want to see what I have prepared before and decide whether or not to embarrass you?

- Good idea. - Alexander said putting honey and milk in his tea.

After setting the details, Diana entered her room and chose a garnet red dress with silver accents. The dress looked simple and delicate but hugged its curves and emphasizes the thin and elegant waist.

Alexander saw the girl in the red dress and took a picture.

- What are you doing?

- I'll send someone to fetch jewelry to match the dress.

- Oh thank you. I return it at the end of dinner.

- You have the talent for drawing clothes.

- Thanks. I do not know if I have but do not like to use things that others do. Looks like it does not suit me.

- It's a perspective.

- Well, wait a minute.

A few minutes later, Diana came back dressed in a plain white satin dress. B.a.r.e feet and all the little makeup was washed.

She looked even more pure and gentle than ever.

The skin looked translucent and creamy. Her pink lips were a little parched, giving her the appearance of a major complaint.

- Well, is there anything else I need to know?

Already I sent for a hairdresser and makeup artist, as well as my assistant with my clothes. It's almost five o'clock. Let's leave at six. Can I use your bathroom?

- Feel free. The toilet is on the first door on the left. If you go to bed, you can use the suite, second door on the left. - Diana said pointing to a small guest room, where her best friend, Anna, is when you come to city B to visit.

Diana barely finished speaking and the bell rang.

She got up and opened the door. Behind her, two women and a man holding various things.

- Good Night, I am Mr. Alexander's assistant - said the man.

- Oh, come in.

- Diana, go get dressed first. I got some things to talk to assistant Kim. - Alexander said holding the cup of tea and acting as if in his own house.

- Right. This way. - Diana waved at the two women.

When she reached the door of her studio, Diana closed it and headed to her suite.

- I'm going to take a quick shower. Something you need me to do with my hair?

- Just wash it. Let's organize everything here.

- It's all right.

A few minutes later, Diana left the bathroom and entered the closet in a white robe. In the closet, she passed her favorite moisturizer and wore lingerie from her vast collection. Before you put on the evening gown and a robe to prevent the dress from staining makeup in case of an accident.

She sat down on her dresser and closed her eyes, letting the two women work on her hair and face.

The makeup artist looked at Diana's perfect skin and can not help but ask.

- How do you make your skin so soft and delicate?

Diana opened her eyes and pointed to some products on her dresser.

- Exfoliation twice a week. Hydration all night. Anti-aging creams since the age of fifteen.

- Wow! Now it makes sense!

- Your hair is also very good and well treated. Commented the hairdresser.

- Hydration and washing day yes, no day. No chemicals and heat only in winter when it needs to dry quickly or on special occasions. I like to dry my hair with a towel and the dryer in the cold.

- It's good.

- Thanks.

A few minutes later, Assistant Kim took a jewelry box and a suit bag containing a suit from a famous designer to Diana's suite.

- Leave it on the couch. - Diana said when she saw the luggage and pointed to a black leather two-seater sofa that was next to a bookcase full of books in a corner of the room.

The makeup artist, who opened the door, picked up the jewelry box and led it to the dresser while she put the bag of clothes on the couch.

Opening the jewelry box, Diana saw a pair of platinum combs with patterns of blossoming camellias and in the center of the flowers, small rubies and diamonds glowed beautifully. A platinum necklace with a simple pendant that carried a noble crest, elegant and charming, and which seemed very familiar to Diana, she could not remember where. A pair of small, delicate earrings with camellia patterns like those of the combs. And finally, a platinum bracelet with diamonds and rubies, simple, delicate and elegant.

- Pretty. Very cute. - Diana commented touching the combs.

The hairdresser finished her preparations and began to do the hairstyle, putting the heavy combs as the finishing touch.

The makeup artist finished her work and went out with the hairdresser, leaving Diana alone in the suite.

A few seconds later Alexander came in and saw the girl sitting in front of the dressing table, watching herself in the mirror.

She looked like a goddess of flame.

He came over and saw the necklace resting on the velvet box. He reached out and gathered it, gently placing it on the thin, handsome neck.

She was the one chosen to use the crest of her Dunkelheit family. She's your lady.

- Yes. It looks good on you. He said gently.

- Thanks. - Answered the girl with a sweet smile.

"I hope she never takes off that necklace." He wished from the bottom of his heart.

- I'll get ready. Let's leave in twenty-five minutes. - Alexander said quietly.

- OK.

In exactly twenty-five minutes, the couple was ready and into the black sedan.
