Alex left the house and checked Samantha's location. She was in an auction house owned by the Walton Corp. He wondered why she would be in the auction house. He remembered that there was an invitation for an auction for charity and the prize is a date from the girls that will be displayed.

Is she invited by a man to attend the auction?

Alex quickly went inside the car, turned on the engine, and drove off. He didn't dare think of what will happen to Samantha. There is a "no hanky panky rule," but no one would dare fight against any one of those invited. So even if they r*pe or kill the girl, the auction house or the one hosting will not pursue it.

Alex remembered that he still has an invitation card. The invitation consists of a diamond engraved in the middle, and at the center of the diamond, there are the initials A.W meaning Alex Walton.

This diamond shows his status in the auction while other businesspeople have a regular invitation letter.

He took the invitation from the glove compartment and headed towards the auction house.

Samantha stopped st the front of the auction house and the men in line stared at her. There were murmurs heard: "Who is she?"

"I think she's one of the prizes from the auction."

"Nice, even if I only get one date with her. I'm satisfied."

"Are you sure you have money to get a date from her?"

"Yeah, maybe your right."

Samantha ignored the murmurs of the men in line and directly entered the auction house. The only girls here are the ones participating in the auction, and the participants are men who either aren't in a relationship or didn't tell their wives they were here.

Samantha was led by staff to the backstage where she met Irene's mother. Irene's mother was so sweet: "Hello, dear. Sorry if Irene has bothered you in attending here."

"Don't worry, Mrs. Johnson. I always wanted to go on a blind date. This auction here is a perfect opportunity."

"Thank you, dear. The auction will start after all the people outside have arrived so maybe 5-10 minutes."

"Okay." Samantha nodded.

Samantha chatted with the ladies participating in the auction, and most of them were here to find blind dates. The sale was about to start, so Mrs. Johnson went to the stage and greeted: "Good Evening, everyone. Welcome to the third annual charity fundraiser." then the men clapped.

"We have 30 beautiful ladies who are participating in the auction. Remember, no "hanky-panky." Okay, let's start with contestant number 1." Mrs. Johnson introduced, but before she said the price, a young man's voice echoed throughout the auction house.

"one hundred thousand dollars." and because of the voice, many other started to bid.

"one hundred fifty thousand dollars."

"three hundred fifty thousand dollars."

"five hundred thousand dollars."

"one million dollars."

Mrs. Johnson asked the crowd: "Anyone higher than number 53? Going Once? Going Twice? Sold!"
