"We three have chosen." the man with the big glasses said. Jessica was trembling in excitement. She peeked at Samantha, who is calm. She was envious that Samantha has Alex and Eric, but now, she also has a backing.

The man said: "The female lead will be... Samantha Brooks."

Jessica was about to scream in excitement when the name called by the man blocked her voice. Samantha was happy and bowed: "Thank you."

Jessica whispered at the man beside her: "Honey, I thought you said that I would be the female lead?"

The man whispered back: "Don't worry. I will handle this."

The director said: "The secondary female lead will be---" before the director could continue, the man beside Jessica said: "I think you are mistaken, Jessica is the female lead right?"

Jason said mockingly: "Why, are you going to withdraw your investment if not? Don't act all high and mighty since my company considers your investment as pocket change."

The man clenched his fists in rage and took out his cellphone, and started to call someone. After a few minutes, Jason and the other two directors got a text.

[Mr. Dylan has withdrawn his 10 million dollar investment in the film.]

Dylan smirked at the three of them and said: "Feeling regret now?"

Jason looked at him mockingly and called his elder brother, which Alex answered in a jiffy. Jason said: "Bro, one of the movie investors withdrew money, what should we do about this?"

Everybody heard this and Dylan's face paled. Jason hung up, and another text came in saying: [Walton Corporation invested another 100 million to the movie.]

Jason said mockingly: "Your money, and your so-called 'talented' girlfriend is not needed here anymore." then he made a shooing gesture.

Jessica said, indignantly at Dylan: "Honey."

Dylan said: "Let's go." and Jessica nodded unwillingly. She looked at Samantha, who was still smiling from being chosen as the female lead and clenched her fists.

Jessica and Dylan exit the building and Dylan cursed incessantly. Jessica also cursed while in the vehicle of Dylan.

While they were brooding, Jessica got a text from an unknown number, saying: [I have info on your stepsister, Samantha, and I am selling it for one hundred thousand dollars.]

Jessica showed it to Dylan, and he agreed. She texted: [Sure, let's meet up at the mall.]

The directors have chosen all of the cast, and they will start filming in a week. Then all of them was dismissed except for Samantha, who stayed. Jason ran towards her and said: "Congrats."

Samantha said at him: "Congrats my a*s, you knew this would happen. Even if my acting is terrible, I would still be the female lead, right?"

Jason shook his head and said: "My brother said that if your acting is terrible, then we would not interfere even if they chose your stepsister."

Samantha nodded at what he said. Alex did not want her to be humiliated if her acting is terrible, so he said that if my acting is awful, don't interfere on anything.

Samantha felt warm in her heart when she heard that. Jason said: "Where are you going now?"

Samantha said: "It's almost time for Samuel's class to end. So, I was thinking of taking a cab and fetching him on the way home."

Jason said excitedly: "You can ride with me then. I so want to spend time with my nephew. He's so cute and adorable and has the same hair color as me."

Samantha agreed and followed Jason to the parking lot. Jason's car was an old version of Bugatti, which is color yellow. Samantha said: "Why don't you buy a new car?"

Jason said indignantly: "In our family, Howard and I are not given any money for these types of things, because our parents say that we will spend it all on women."

Samantha laughed so hard that her c.h.e.s.t hurt when she heard that. A family that has a net worth of billions, and only the eldest gets to enjoy it all.

Jason drove towards Samuel's school, and after parking it, he got out of the car and waited for Samuel.

Samantha was in the car because Jason volunteered to fetch Samuel. The other moms looked at Jason, who was leaning on his car, gossip started.

"Hey, look how hot that guy is. You think he's fetching his son?"

"I don't know, but I would love to get a piece of him."

A woman built up her courage and walked towards Jason. Jason saw it, and he smirked. He never thought that even in a school, he would still attract girls.

The woman looks like she is in her 20s, and her hair is yellow, but she tied it up. She shyly said: "Hello."

Jason said coolly: "Hello, what is a girl as pretty like you doing here?"

The woman blushed, and Samantha coughed when she heard that. This line was the same pick-up line Jason used whenever someone would go to him. Samantha remembered that when she was in high school and was eating with her friends in the cafeteria, Jason walked up to her and said the same thing.

The woman said: "Umm, my youngest sister is in school right now and I was about to fetch her. How about you, what are you doing here?"

Jason said: "I'm fetching my nephew."

The woman nodded, she wanted to ask Jason out, but she is so shy that she doesn't know how to ask him.

Jason laughed at the sight of the woman looking at him but unable to say anything. He said: "You want to go for lunch tomorrow?"

The woman nodded and said: "Sure, can I bring my youngest sister along?"

Jason nodded and said: "Sure, as long as I can also bring my nephew along."

Samantha heard this and almost vomited blood.

'Who told you that you could bring Samuel along?'

Jason and the woman exchanged numbers, and the school bell rang in time. The woman said: "See you tomorrow." then the woman left and headed towards the school doors.

Children came out of the door running around. Jason saw Samuel walking calmly and coldly. Jason saw potential in Samuel hitting on girls so he thought to himself that he could teach that boy a thing or two.

When Samuel saw Jason, the cold face became full of smiles, and he ran towards Jason, shouting: "Uncle."
