Alex woke up early and thought that this is the day. He looked beside him and saw Samantha still sleeping. He got near and kissed her forehead. It may be because of a good dream, but Samantha smiled.

Alex headed to the shower and afterward, dressed quickly. He was going to meet Jason in his office to discuss what will happen tonight. Samantha was still sleeping when Alex headed towards the office. Alex arrived and saw Jason waiting for him at his office.

Jason was holding a folder containing files for tonight. Alex sat at his seat while Jason presented everything in his folder. There were files of restaurants owned by Walton Corp., and there were files of singers who could serenade for tonight.

Alex was impressed with how many Jason prepared overnight. If he could do this always, how proud would Joseph and Mary be?

Alex made Jason pick a venue and Jason picked a place, and a singer based on criteria. Jason also said: "Before you go home and pick Samantha up, buy some white roses. She likes those."

Alex nodded and remembered what Jason said. He knew that Jason tried to pursue Samantha when they were in high school, but instead of being accepted, Samantha beat him, and eventually, they became best friends.

Jason left and called the place and the singer and booked them for tonight. If tonight goes well, then he would be surfing and finding girls in the Bahamas by tomorrow. Just thinking about it, made Jason's efficiency go up by 50%.

Samantha woke up and used her hands to feel Alex beside her, but she did not touch anything. She opened her eyes and looked around but saw no sight of Alex. Samantha stretched her arms and stood up before heading downstairs and saw Samuel eating. She ate with Samuel and remembered that tonight, Alex would fetch her for dinner.

After breakfast, Samantha went to the master bedroom again and picked a dress. She chose a knee-length skirt that showcases her back. After preparing everything, she took a long relaxing bath, and after that, she played with Samuel. Samantha was confused about why Alex would want to have dinner all of a sudden, maybe because it is how successful the shooting of the film was.

Samuel will go back to school tomorrow, and as per ordered by his grandfather, he will attend another kindergarten, and this one is for the rich and famous. Joseph arranged for a chauffeur and some bodyguards. He wanted to let the whole school know that this is his grandson.

Samantha played some Playstation with Samuel for some time when the smell of food made their stomachs gurgle. Samantha and Samuel quickly went towards the dining table while the maid gracefully put the food. Samantha and Samuel stuffed themselves until they are full.

They were just about to head towards Samuel's room when the doorbell rang, and Alex's parents, Joseph and Mary, came in. Samuel greeted them and kissed them on their cheeks.

Joseph was holding a plastic bag and said: "I have a surprise for you."

Samuel leaped in joy. He asked: "What is it?"

Joseph said mysteriously: "Close your eyes first."

Samuel excitedly closed his eyes, and Joseph took out a controller in the plastic box. Samantha was watching the whole event. Joseph said: "You can open your eyes now."

Samuel opened his eyes, and the controller greeted him. He was confused. He asked: "What is this for?"

Joseph grinned and pushed a button. A robot dashed towards Joseph and stood in front of him. The robot said with an emotionless voice: "Hello."

Joseph said: "This is a robot that a security company developed. It was still in the testing stages, and they only managed to build one, and this is it."

Joseph handed Samuel the controller, and Samuel was excited. Samuel used the controlled to make the robot do a backflip. Samantha only watched on the sidelines and was amazed that Joseph would gift this to Samuel.

Joseph and Mary stayed with Samuel in his room while Samantha slept in the master bedroom. She quickly fell asleep and only woke up from her phone's constant ringing. Samantha opened her phone and answered the phone sleepily: "Hello?"

A man's calm voice rang from the other side: "Samantha?"

Samantha completely woke up when she heard the voice. She asked: "Alex?"

Alex said: "Just checking in if you are ready. I will pick you in fifteen minutes."

Samantha checked the time and was shocked. She slept for six hours. Samatha quickly stood up and dressed quickly before tidying her hair. Samantha retouched her makeup and stopped when she thought it was good.

Samantha's phone rang, and it was a text from Alex saying: [I'm here.]

Samantha breathed in and out and got out of the room before heading downstairs. Alex was standing at the doorway when he saw her walk out of the master bedroom. He felt the world stop and focus on Samantha. Samantha saw Alex standing there and felt bashful.
