Alex did not stand and only knelt there. He was shocked by her question.

"Did you or did you not kill my mother?" Samantha asked again, but her voice was close to breaking down.

Alex hurriedly shook his head and said: "No, of course not."

Samantha said: "But how would you explain it if you have short term memory loss. Maybe you just forgot it."

Alex firmly said: "I did have a series of short term memory loss, but I did not kill your mom."

Alex stood up and held her hand. He said: "Believe me that I did not kill your mom."

Samantha said: "Jessica. She called me when I was in the bathroom and said that you killed my mom. She then sent me an email about your series of short term memory loss."

Samantha only nodded, and Alex drove away. Samantha now felt alone and entered the house. She saw Samuel with Mary and Joseph playing and headed to the master bedroom. She did not undress and only laid down the bed and thought of tonight. Samantha wanted to hug someone and thought of Alex.

Samantha closed her eyes and fell asleep. Alex was in his office with Jason. He told what happened, and Jason clenched his fists: "That B*tch, she never changed even in high school. You couldn't be the killer since, at that time, you were at the hospital."

Alex said: "Enough, I need you to investigate for me."

Jason nodded, and Alex gave him some orders before leaving. Alex called his two love rivals, Eric and Zeus, for help. When they heard that he was proposing, they wanted to reject, but when they heard it was because of Samantha's mother, they reluctantly accepted.

They arrived quickly, and Alex filled them in. They both cursed at Jessica for hurting Samantha. Zeus hacked Jessica's phone and email while Eric located Jessica. Jessica's phone was filled with her trying out new dresses, but on her email, there is an anonymous email that sent her some files about Alex.

Zeus furrowed his brows when he read the email of the sender. He did not know who this is but felt like it was someone he knows. Alex furrowed his brows when Zeus said that he doesn't know who sent it. Alex only nodded, and Eric and Zeus left.

Alex sighed in frustration. Proving his innocence is hard. He massaged his temples to think of a way to prove his innocence and thought of an idea. He texted his men to abduct Jessica in Dylan's home and put her in the warehouse.

Alex headed to the warehouse and waited there for his men, and after a few minutes, two black SUV arrived at the warehouse, and out came ten men in black. One of the men was carrying a woman who was shouting: "Let me go."

The men tied her into the chair, and the woman pleaded: "Please let me go."

Alex coldly said: "You know what you did. If you don't say what I want to hear, then don't bother walking out of here alive."

Jessica said: "YOU! You killed Samantha's mom and trying to say I framed you?"

Alex chuckled and said: "You want to die, don't you? I am going to count to ten, and if you don't say what I want to hear, then I will order my men to savor you before you die."

Jessica's face paled. She did not want to give herself up to the police, but she also did not want to be r*ped by these guys. She said: "I don't know who sent the files to me. You have to believe me."

Alex was calm and did not show any reaction. He already knew this but hearing straight from Jessica made his fist clench. He said: "Let her go." before going away to the office.

Alex messaged his guys privately to put a GPS tracker on her without being noticed. Alex only stayed in his office to think of another solution.
