The Demon King Seems to Conquer the World

Episode 044: Melancholy of Myalo

I was taking a lecture that day.

The lecture is part of a general subject that anyone can take in a lecture called General Law IV.

When you get this, you can challenge something like a judicial exam, called in this country.

Of course, there is no splendid legal system in the Kingdom of Siyarta that would make it all six law books, like Japan, so it would be extraordinarily monkey and asshole-like than the Japanese judicial exam, but if you take it, it means that you would be more qualified for once.

This lecture is very popular with listening students, and correctional students take quite a bit of it, but not at all popular with chivalry students.

I thought it would be a lot better for the future than taking classical literature but ancient Shan, so in elective general subjects, I was taking this with Kra.

"... you know, Yuri"

Myalo, who was taking the course with me, talked to me.

In this lecture, Myalo cooperates with me, and in law, which I can hardly remember, he is in a warrior-friendly relationship on the battlefield called study.

Still, he looked kind of like he'd never seen it before today.

"What?

"Write to me... I'm keeping your letter."

"Is that me?

Myalo put a single note on his desk.

Giving letters to people is nothing strange in this country.

But being handed a letter to Myalo was a long time ago, but it was the first time.

That is because of Myalo's position and, if you will, Gudanvier's name.

As someone who deposits letters that may be read, Myalo is discouraged.

"Um... you don't need it, do you?

That's what Myalo said.

............ hmm??

You don't want it?

Why is that?

"You never said you didn't need it."

It's got razors and anthrax in it?

Then I don't need it.

"No, I knew it would be fine"

Once again, Myalo put his hand on the envelope on his desk and tried to get away.

"What, it's not me?"

"It's addressed to Yuri... but you won't need it, so I'll bake it"

Here.

I don't know what to say, you.

"If it was me, you'd have to read it. It may be a crappy letter, but I need to keep it through my eyes."

Not to mention, it's not just a piece of parchment with notes, it's a fine parchment envelope.

If you combine the envelope with the contents and the ink, I'll do about fifty ruga.

I'm familiar with the stationery market.

"No. I'm sorry, please decide it wasn't from the beginning. I can't believe I'm trying to get Yuri-kun involved at my own convenience"

No, no, it looks like something serious, but I don't know why.

Or if you're trying to make me give up, you're giving me the exact opposite psychological effect.

I'm like, "Now if we keep going through this, something terrible, irrevocable will happen. 'Cause all of a sudden the calm Myalo is talking about something nasty and he's got such a serious face".

"Wow, I'm curious, but if Myalo says so, I can't help it. I guess I shouldn't read it."

I said things I didn't even have in mind.

"Right. I'm sorry. If I had disposed of it from the beginning, I wouldn't have bothered you."

When I secretly turned my arm around Myalo's shoulder, I tapped the other shoulder with my fingertips.

"Yes?"

Reflectively Myalo moved his hand slowly on the desk to the gap facing the other side, stealing the envelope.

"What, was that Yuri earlier?

When Myalo looked at me again, I had already opened the envelope and retrieved the letter inside.

"Oh, yes, I am."

Reply as you open the letter.

"Ugh, Yuri does that kind of prank too"

"Sort of. 'Cause my shoulders seemed tense."

Lower your gaze and begin to look through the letter.

"That's true. By the way, what are you reading? Is that your work paperwork?

"I wrote to you earlier."

"Give it back"

I can hear voices from the side, but I can't see the complexion.

I've been busy reading letters.

"You can't. I'm sorry, but if I try to take it back, I'm gonna punch you in the face, but I'm gonna take it back. This looks like a letter that won't go out of style."

The letter was from Louida Gudanvier, grandmother of Myalo Gudanvier.

It says something about seeing you once, and I'm even unwilling about the current situation in Myalo, so I'm going to cut off the tuition aid. It was accompanied by an unknown threat complaint.

"I don't know what this guy's talking about, either, but to observe from your attitude, they held you up about tuition and pushed you into a letter?

"... Yes. Exactly."

Before I could remember my anger, it was a letter that made me feel odd.

How can it be such an asshole not to pay school fees for a kid in a house as golden as Seven Witches?

Is that a threat?

Honestly, I just think of it as a child trick to make my parents listen to the kid.

Even if it's a child deception, the fact that people as smart as Myalo seem to actually feel threatened by it falls to their senses.

Myalo hates his parents' house, so if it were normal, even if they would give him this letter, he would either resolutely refuse or break it on the spot.

I feel more natural as a reaction.

But Myalo actually brought it and was worried about whether to at least give it to him or not.

That's because in reality we see tuition stops as a threat.

"Well, it's as simple as seeing you. I'll be there tomorrow."

I don't know how this guy is worried, but if you go there, it means the problem will be solved, then that degree of labor is nothing.

"Please don't go. It's dangerous."

"I'm ready to talk about this."

That's what I said when I put the letter in my bag.

"Not good"

You're persistent.

"If you say so, that's fine. I'm done with this story."

At the end of the lecture, I headed to my apartment.

I told Myalo I was going tomorrow, but I was going to head out today.

If we go tomorrow, Myalo will definitely try to accompany us.

Then the conversation gets easier.

Back off, you're right to head out today.

Besides, there was another reason to go today.

"Oh, young man. Long time no see."

"Soim"

Soim happened to be following the replacement of the Separate Mansion Guard to meet relatives living in the King's Capital.

I knew that, but wasn't particularly helpful, so I wasn't even going to take a leg.

But this is not the case.

Soim is due home tomorrow, so when it's tomorrow, he won't be there anymore.

"I'm late at night, but will we exchange spears for the first time in a long time?

Wow. You're still a healthy grandpa.

Didn't you turn 100 this year?

"No... I shook it in the morning"

Give me a break.

"Well, apparently they're in the hospital."

He's laughing funny.

"Actually, I wanted you to go out with me today."

"Oh, what do you think we're going out with? Finally, it's time to have a drink with you, young man."

"I was invited to Gudanvier's house in Seven Witches. I really have to go."

"... ho"

Soim did his hand on his jaw and caressed it too intriguingly.

Soim is looking at this one, as if he has fallen asleep.

"A man in a position like me is invited to that house. This must already be like an intrusion. I'd be comfortable with you."

"I don't know what this old bone does, but I'm happy to offer you this soim."

They seem to follow me.

Soym turned on Nakama!

I've never been more comfortable.

I was born, and I've never seen anyone stronger than him, not even a cavalry instructor.

"Right. Well, why don't you put the spear down and put on the butler's clothes?"

"Butler's clothes...... is it?

"Oh, we're going to talk about it for a second, so I can't believe I'm going to be spearing armor."

"You're welcome. You can do without spears, such as witches."

That's what makes it so dependable.

"That's just great. Well, then, let's just get ready and head out. I want to be home by sundown."

The main house of Gudanvier is built bordered by a forest of witches in the corner of the king's capital.

In fact, the main house of the Seven Witches is all built to surround the forest of witches.

Therefore, all the enclosures of the Witch Forest are the property of the Seven Witches (Seventh Witches), and the Witch Forest means private property that is off-limits to outsiders, not citizens' resting forests.

When I changed into my personal clothes, Gotgotgoto and the carriage rocked me and I reached the main entrance of the Gudanvier family.

The main entrance, naturally, is closed.

When I stopped before that, from outside the window, a guard in Kingsguard Second Army uniform approached me.

The Kingsguard Second Army refers to the Kingsguard Army, which is the one where the witch family is finally cowing.

"This is Gudanvier's mansion! What can I do for you!

Who heard what from outside the carriage?

"Young man."

"Soim, you keep your mouth shut until I say I'm good."

I opened the carriage door.

And when I showed up, I said.

"I'm Yuri Howe. Called to the Lord of Gudanvier here. If you know what I mean, check it out now and just open the front door. Don't keep your customers waiting, Guzz."

"Welcome aboard."

Upon entering an outrageously old stone house, a woman came to guide her through a unique collection of clothes, unlike maid clothes.

He wraps around clothes like skinny pantsuit.

It doesn't seem to be clothes assuming dirty work, so I guess it's not for cleaning or anything like that.

You look like a secretary.

"I'll keep your coat"

And he turned to my back and took my collar and sleeve.

When I twisted myself a little, my coat fell off as easily as I felt sick.

Are you an expert in reception?

Depositing that coat with another maid,

"I'll show you to Master Louida."

I said.

Follow the scarecrow.

I'm supposed to be a boulder witch house, or I live in a fine house.

The Howe family mansion is also better built, but there is no such thing as an oil painting decorated the hallway without gaps.

Regrettable, but good taste too.

Stone construction, while corridors with wooden planks stretched to waist length, hide a good boneless impression of stone walls.

It was old, then, perfectly well cleaned and maintained.

"This way, sir."

And I opened the door.

I'm going into that room.

Then the woman slipped back and went back to the hallway.

"Good evening. You're here."

Sitting in a chair in the room was an old woman who was quite old.

I get the impression that you are young compared to Soim but haven't hidden yet at this age.

Is this Luida Gudanvier?

The story is more or less imaginative, but is it a race that pursues rights at this age, these guys?

I wonder if you don't want to live in peace about the time of death.

Horrible.

"Evening."

"Sit in that chair there."

"Even if you didn't tell me, I was going to sit on my own,"

I didn't hesitate to sit in the chair facing the old lady.

It was a soft, fluffy chair where the body was sucked in.

"What about you? You're the deacon of the Howe family?

"It doesn't matter what kind of servant I have."

It's boring to hear.

It would be presumed to be an escort anyway.

"That's right."

"So?"

"So, what?

He said, "Why did you call me?"

I want you to move on.

"Oh, my God, I'm so fast"

"I want to be home by dinner."

The mission has already been accomplished because the main purpose here is to meet this Baba.

From here on out, for the record, there's nothing wrong with going home anymore.

You don't need any hesitation to go home, and it's Baba's role to hold it off.

When I return, Myalo's tuition will be guaranteed.

I guess the order Myalo got from this guy is' deliver the letter, convince Yuri, bring him ', and even if I leave the point of persuasion behind, I'm out in reality, so this mission is fully accomplished.

There should be no complaining.

"Well, I'll treat you to dinner or something, but hey."

"It wouldn't be very clever of you to treat your grandchildren to dinner in a human house that uses them as a tool for threats"

I didn't come to talk to you amicably.

There's no point in being friendly.

Even this one, poisoning my son is not a smart move. "

I guess so.

If you kill me, turn the Howe family to their enemies in earnest.

Even now that the company has grown a lot, I was reading that the yakuza has not yet avalanched because of it.

It would be nice to do a smash or an act of violence, but if I were in the middle of it, it could kill me in some cases.

Then, if you do poorly, the Howe family will give you an army and come up to the capital.

Even if we leave it at that, from the witch side, it's only natural to read that far.

That's a lot, so harassment is still limited to indirect things.

"It doesn't matter. Either way, I don't know what it tastes like to eat here."

"Would it taste better if I dined with my grandson in the cavalry?

I'm gonna ask you something boring, Baba.

"It would be obvious. If it's a meal for your best friend, even bread with salt can taste delicious."

At least, it's better than eating in here.

"... I see"

Baba was reading something from what I called Myalo's best friend.

That was a mistake, was it a silence?

"Let's get started."

"You must be feeling a lie, right?

"Well."

It's no good bothering to expose your thoughts in front of these people.

Ten or eighty-nine would be about Howe, but there were many others on my mind.

It could be about Myalo, it could be about Carol.

If you do poorly, it could be about Carlia.

"It's about the business you're in."

Did you mean the company after all?

"So?"

"Get under our umbrella. Then I'll protect you."

I almost blew it out.

From who?

You want me to protect you from your countrymen?

Pay you guys?

You're after a coward.

Tell the fool to take the day off too.

"Do you want to protect me?

"Was that a word I cared about for the Great Knight? However, there is a royal duke in the capital."

I am well aware that I am breaking the threshold.

But it's not anyone who decides what these guys do.

It is not, of course, of the kind of decree issued by the royal family.

Over time, bad habits have taken root, and these guys are just conveniently calling it 'shiatsu' to themselves.

Protect the cliché, which is the same as telling you to stain it with your bad habits, and I didn't know that.

"So?"

"So I mean mess it up"

"No, you're not. How much will you protect me?

"... right, I just want to say 30% of the sales, but specially 20% is fine"

Twenty percent.

It's a joke.

If they take 20% from sales in addition to Wang Du's tax rate, they won't have enough money to grow the company.

Out of the question.

"You don't talk about it. I didn't know you were going to put that away."

Ridiculous. Who pays?

"Well, what price do you want?"

"Come on, I didn't mean to make a deal in the first place."

The Howe family is a general, and if it comes down to that son giving in to the witch for help, it will be a big problem.

I wasn't willing to trade from the start.

If it was about 1%, this one wouldn't have succumbed to the knee either, so I asked him if he wouldn't mind, but what is 20%?

"Right, you can do it if you want thirty pieces of Ho paper a month, enough to deliver it here as paper to wipe your ass"

"Are you kidding me?

Louida's complexion changed.

"Well."

"In this neighborhood, it hurts a lot to feel confident."

Ma, I guess that's how you've made so many people hurt.

I guess that's what it's like around Harrol.

"You've had trouble with the old man's preaching habits."

"What?

"I wish I knew if my confidence was at my height. It's not about being preached to others."

If I had determined my height in someone else's assessment, it would be on the other hand squeezing.

You can't stand up to the crowd.

"You're a young man, reckless."

"What do you think? It could be reckless, or it could be an accurate analysis. You don't know that unless you try it."

"Maybe the youngsters don't get it, but it's reckless for just two of us to come to Gudanvier's house and say that kind of lame mouth,"

Louida pampered, and slapped her hand.

The back door sounds rattled open.

Even Gorotsky will show up, and you will come with me and your squire.

I knew you were nuts, fundamentally.

"Soim, do it"

I said without even looking back.

I heard the sound of stepping in like stepping on a floorboard and punching something with my fist.

"Gaha!"

A wild voice of a man I don't know with anyone sounded, and Gashan and the furniture broke.

A few more rounds, I suddenly became quiet when I thought I heard a shitty noise of beating and throwing people.

And Battan, and I heard the door close, and I found out that Soim closed the door on his own.

It's done.

Sure, someone saw the misery in the room, and it's a lot to make a fuss about.

"Excuse me, which one are you mocking? We are a family that makes war a business. It's fundamentally different from what you did when you followed the bad guys. I don't want you to come with me."

It's like a gang selling fights to the military.

In a way, I guess these guys are at peace, too.

"... well, you seem to have a lot of nerve"

"You too. I'm impressed."

The power in this field is now reversed.

Of course, you're sure I'm not doing anything, but not moving seems like a lot of liver sitting.

"Negotiations are broken. You're on your own."

"You don't have to tell me, I'll do it on my own. I'm not going to negotiate with these seco people who threaten people with my grandson's tuition."

"I'm gonna hold on to that."

"It would be obvious. Myalo is doing impeccably well. You're too childish to threaten me."

No matter how cold a man is treated in a witch house, it is not acceptable for a house that has no trouble at all with money to stop tuition and stop college, etc.

Graduating from college is synonymous with being given the qualification of serving as an aristocrat in this country.

If you don't graduate from a knight's or correctional institution, or any of them, there is no way to prosper, either as a knight or as a central bureaucrat.

Like the guys at the premiere house, they become nobles only on paper.

Threats made by Louida are to a lesser extent, even as threats.

"I don't know how good you are, but I got it. This way."

"I guess you let him in. How selfish."

She's a frightened woman.

Even my fucking jerk didn't do anything to dry up his tuition because he didn't get into the faculty he wanted.

"I didn't let you in. He went in on his own."

What? What?

Has Myalo entered this guy without permission?

No, well, is that sometimes the case?

Kicking a correctional home and entering a cavalry with our hopes.

I guess I admired it.

But Myalo does a hell of a thing, too.

"I don't know what you're up to, but if you're that good, you'll be in the Kingsguard in the future."

Exactly. I don't have a general to let in the Seven Witches, so if I were to get a job, I'd be a Kingsguard, but that wouldn't be a problem.

As a witch, you don't need to be ashamed at all, you're a fine place to get a job, and if you're born, you'll be a handkerchief, so there can't be any complaints.

"What are you talking about? Kingsguard would be under the jurisdiction of Carsfit. There's no way he can get in."

Hmm.

Is there such a situation?

But what this guy's talking about is the Second Army, and he should be able to join the First Army where he's the real King's Army.

"Either way, you won't need a child for you. If you're going to treat me cold, it's kind of you to let me decide as freely as a graduating hospital."

"Huh? A kid you don't need?

"You must be cold-hearted, even doing mean things like this because Myalo is a man. That's what I call narrow nostrils."

You said you wouldn't have complained if you were born to a woman?

It is a truly ridiculous house.

"you, pu, buwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha"

Louida suddenly laughed out loud.

"Ahhhhhhhh"

What the fuck?

Did I say something weird?

I don't know.

What was the funny point?

"You think that's a man!?

... what?

What? What?

"That was a woman from birth! What, you just thought you were a man, hahahahahaha! Hi if you think the story won't engage!! I already thought you were holding me!! This is crazy!

What? What?

Huh?

Myalo is the woman????

No, no, no, no.

You're a man.

Should be a man.

No. Hey, well, this flow isn't good.

In the meantime, I don't care, there.

In this case, give it all on the shelf, and then (...) (...) (...) (...) (...).

It gets to their pace.

"Ma, fine. The conversation is over. Myalo's tuition is safe. I'm going home now."

Only in this case can I just go home.

It's a little rough though.

"Haha......, it's good to go home, but when do I give you tuition?

............... Um, come on.

Can't we talk normally? These guys.

It's really annoying.

"I don't mind. Then I'll just get what I want."

"What?

"When there is a crisis of expulsion, I will ask Myalo to cut off from Gudanvier. And Myalo will be my brother-in-law."

"Huh?"

Louida frowned, forgetting to laugh, whether it was an inconceivable choice.

You've rewarded me with an arrow.

"Father, you're going to have Myalo adopted. Well, I should have paid for it. [M] Looks like Myalo's delightful face comes to mind."

"That's not true."

"There's nothing I can't do. If you do something that will stop you from spending money and force you to quit school."

This would actually be possible.

If you have money that doesn't hurt or itch, such as school fees, but you don't pay tuition and make them quit school, etc., and your child hits you with an insulation letter, I won't tolerate that. That's a funny story.

"Now, if you'll excuse me,

Standing on his own, looking back for the first time here, there stood Soim, and at his feet four musculoskeletal men had passed out.

I wonder if it would have been bad without Jizzi, damn it.
