The Demon King Seems to Conquer the World

Episode 070: Executive Meeting

Publicity

April 4, 2318

In this defensive war in the kingdom of Kirchna, for the purpose of seeing and hearing the battlefields and deepening our understanding of the methods of warfare of the hostile countries, we will form and dispatch a military observation team, captained by Yuri Howe in the eighth grade this year and Carol Full Chartre in the same year.

We will then recruit participants from the Cavalry Senior Class.

The conditions listed in the Annex shall be established at the time of application.

Refer to the Annex and first confirm that you are a qualification holder.

The desired person shall submit a signed consent of the custody holder and a signed application for participation by the wake-up bell on April 14.

The signature of the Application for Participation shall not belong to the Wang Du Identity Guarantor.

Applicants whose receipt is in a remote location shall submit an application at their leisure time, for example by hurrying home.

The submission destination shall be a special mailbox in front of the first dorm of the eighth grade this year.

Individual interviews will be held in room 305 of the Knights House on April 15, following the deadline for submission, April 14, followed by notification of the admissibility of participation.

Special notes:

Signature of the Application for Participation shall have legal effect and shall therefore be signed after a thorough reading.

In service watch teams, participants are tied under their own military laws, which have entered into force on an ad hoc basis, during the operation.

The contents of the military code are described in the Application for Participation.

The effect of this military law is recognised in Her Majesty's name, and the person responsible is legally relieved of all responsibility for any and all executions carried out under military law.

As disclaimers also include fatalities during operations and executions for egregious military violations, each person wishing to participate decides to do so after consideration.

Sixth grade: 200 credits

Seventh grade: 220 credits

A flight licence or a Class III independent flight permit is desirable as a level of proficiency.

V. One who can prepare one king eagle in front of himself.

(If (v) can be satisfied, procurement of the bird to be driven given to (iii) is not necessary)

"All right, this is it."

"Yes, I was wondering if you'd mind."

Myalo agreed.

"That's okay."

That was Lyao Rube, where he was the eldest son of the Rube family.

This man, who will be twenty-two this year, will, of course, join this squad.

These three people, including me, were secretly meeting in an empty classroom after hubbling Carol.

If Carol hears, why are you excommunicating him, you bastard, and he will be furious.

"I'm sorry, but I'm gonna call it off. Lyao."

"Oh, I don't mind."

Usually I almost used respectful language, but from now on, you're going to settle for my subordinate character, so that's not how it works.

"I ask you frankly, are you not dissatisfied with fitting into my men?

"What, an interview?

"I can't keep you out. But unity of will needs to be preserved."

This guy is about as anxious as Carol is.

A chivalry student is enough to call it a collection of kids from the minister of the house, so to speak to the big mess, about a quarter of the chivalry is under the influence of the Rube family.

This guy turned into a dirt ground,

"I knew I wouldn't trust him. I keep His Royal Highness Carol at bay. Whatever you agree with me, put it under me."

and so on, and if you fan your men, it will be a very troublesome situation.

"I'm a man who hasn't graduated at this age. I'm not trying to impress the Admiral of the mountain."

"I'm listening to that. I'm going to graduate this year."

With information from Myalo, it was hearsay.

A man named Lyao Rube is a regular member of the Knights Academy Martial Arts Association, apparently a man who went by with a player.

Surprisingly, he also has winning experience in the martial arts.

At nineteen, he earned 280 credits, took up to 310 at twenty, and reached the graduatable level on the credits, but did not graduate.

I hated graduation and didn't take my last compulsory credit.

The Knights Institute graduates if it takes 300 credits, but that's a story based on obtaining compulsory credits for the Knights Institute specialty, and if you don't have all the compulsory credits, you won't graduate whether you take 400 credits or 500.

Otherwise, because even a man like you who has not acquired any martial arts or tactics, but only classical literature or law, will be a graduate of the Cavalry.

Lyao would be reasonable to assume that this was totally deliberately dubbed because he did not drop credit and did not enroll from the beginning.

Lyao, from birth, needs to join his parents' ministerial corps as soon as he graduates and wave his arms as a heir.

So the current situation in Lyao is like a college student who has decided to take a job at his parents' house if you say so, is deliberately staying in the year without submitting a thesis.

I guess there are a lot of knight academics out there who are actually part of it because the dorm is too cozy to postpone graduation.

"If I had heard the news of the formation of the Crusaders at the beginning of last year, would I have graduated by now?

"You wouldn't have been here."

Again, if I had known, I would have graduated.

If I had, I would have led some of the Knights of the Rube as part of a regular reinforcement and would have been on an expedition.

"But I don't feel heavy about it. I don't give a shit about putting my life up for the assholes in Kirchna."

"Hmm. Right."

"Oh, sorry."

Why did they apologize?

"What is it?

"I didn't make a fool out of Lord Gowk."

Oh, you mean that.

"Nothing, I don't mind that"

Now that I think about it, Gowk did something for Kirchna to attack Wang Eagle, which is quite unusual as far as the behavior of the head of the house is concerned.

The general gave his spear to Her Majesty the Queen. Therefore, if he were to die for the Kingdom of Siyarta, he still had no need to die for the Kingdom of Kirchna.

Of course, this is no choice if you died accidentally during your normal military service, because it is more than going to battlefield and adjacent to death.

But I became a member of the Death Squad myself, and I didn't have to die aggressively.

With the royal family of Kirchina, you just wouldn't have wanted it that far.

Gouk may have felt like a friendship to his comrades who fought with him, not only because he had been in reinforcements to Kirchina before, but also because of the XIV Crusaders who died in the war.

"Does the Rube family know more about the kingdom of Kirchna?"

"We're not stupid either. I know better than anyone in this kingdom."

Ho.

That's just the territory adjacent, and they're doing a force analysis.

"What do you think? Will you lose this war?"

And I heard it out of curiosity.

"Naturally. They haven't learned anything. It's just that I've been replenishing my power."

"Hmmm......"

"We're still pulling each other's legs in our bodies. You can't win like this."

The Rube family seems pessimistic about the battlefield.

"Ma, that's good. It's folded in."

I don't think so, either.

"You've folded in, that's a big deal"

"Kirchna is being hit in the north. Once invaded, it is the common habit of the Shan nation that politics becomes rough and unmanageable."

The Shan Nation, since its secession, most countries have taken more or less the same form of government as the Kingdom of Siyalta.

The major problem with this regime is that the largest units that make up the army have been dispersed among the local marquis (generals).

The local marquises are loosely connected by the central administration, but weak when attacked in this form.

Even if somewhere is attacked, the regional lords of course don't want to lose money, so they don't put out their troops for real except the attacked party.

Therefore, as a result, we are going to play something that will destroy each and every one of us.

Exactly, it was a long time ago that it came out of the extremes, and I've been learning lately, but still the intrinsic vulnerabilities remain unaddressed.

"It would be a shame for the Rube family. My condolences to them."

"Right. I can't protect anything."

Sadly.

"The royal family cares too. Let only the general send reinforcements, and not a single soldier from the first army of the Kingsguard. My house is a good skin."

It would be an angry dialogue if Carol was listening, but it would be natural for the Rube family to think so.

The royal family just takes the pronunciation and doesn't do anything for me.

The generals take taxes, if they rebel, they send assassins, and if the assassination is not successful, they give instructions to the other generals to slap them.

There is no consciousness around the general knight, he only looks up to the royal family and swears allegiance to the general, but only consciousness that if you look at it from the top of the house, including the Lord, you are made to lose all.

If we go to reinforcements, we'll just give them a little bounty.

With the Rube family, if Kirchina perishes, we'll be next.

The Rube family would undoubtedly be the one who wants Kirchina to do her best.

Even now, even one soldier wants to keep his power warm.

"So, what are you in for?"

"You're gonna have foil."

Lyao expressed it in a nutshell.

That's right.

"But instead of foil, it can be disgraceful."

I said something about Carol's possible death in the dark.

"I hear your reputation. I'm not incompetent enough to take one woman home from the battlefield."

Lyao seems to have figured it out quickly and gives a thoughtful answer.

"We don't know what's going to happen on the battlefield. Whether you're on a king eagle or a flowing arrow in your eyes, humans die easily"

"Then you'll give up your bad luck. There's no certainty on the battlefield."

"That's right."

If you know so much about it, you might get resentment later.

Even so, maybe if Carol were to die, I wouldn't be able to come back, either.

"Well. Human resources, then."

"Oh."

"This guy is Myalo Gudanvier. You know."

Myalo lowered his head gently as he sat down.

"I went over to introduce you. It's Myalo."

"Oh, I know"

Probably a bad rumor, but Myalo's name had reached this guy's ear, too.

This is the Chief of Staff.

"Staff?"

The word "staff" was a word I had in mind in Shan.

There is no word in this country that means the post of staff officer.

"He is in charge of general affairs and advice. I only have the right to order. Instead, I don't have the right to order anyone."

"Really?"

"Oh. I wanted to make you deputy captain if I could, but in the end, it's just gonna be a mess."

Myalo has had difficulty gaining trust from knights from birth.

There won't be a problem if you lead a civilian born soldier, but this time it's all the Knights Hyoko joining the troops.

Their good sense should be questionable, and there will be many people out there who don't want to follow when it comes to Gudanvier directing them.

If Myalo becomes deputy captain, naturally you can cut them off according to military law, but Myalo is not physically strong.

If more than half of you are averse to witchcraft, even if you try to cut them off, Myalo will be killed more the other way around.

"You're the deputy captain. You're just like Carol."

This is natural.

"I pray you, my lord."

"Right. Well, good luck with Myalo here tomorrow."

And I threw a mild round of chores.

"? What?

"We need to find out if the people who posted the participation forms are really qualified people. Besides, I'd like to take the replenishment with me if possible. The three of us, including Carol, will discuss this fully."

"The three of us... What are you gonna do?"

Lyao said with a surprised face.

You're going to be sleeping in your room, but you're going to want to say.

"I'm going into Kirchna tomorrow."

"To Kirchna? Could we just leave all the way over there until we leave?

"No, I'll be back by the interview. But we also need to actually look at the area. If you don't look down, you can't help it."

This takes time, so since the war is about to start, it's not a job that can be a bummer.

I can't even count on anyone else.

"I see. So in the meantime, should we do what we can?"

"That's right. It's Myalo's character to be aware of. You'll do better than me."

Myalo said nothing and bowed his head to Ljao with a peck.

Best wishes. Something like that.

"To Myalo, I place my full trust, and Carol does. Not that I can't, but it would help if you trusted me, too."

"I'll decide that."

Well, I guess so.

It's strange what others say about trust.

Nevertheless, I can't help but be preconceived. Sometimes.

"I never suspected it from the start. Don't worry about it."

"Do that. So, this is it for now? Do you want to talk about something?"

"No, I don't. I haven't even recruited yet, so I don't have much to do."

Well, I guess so.

"That's it for today. Let's say we break it up."
