Carnage and Crabapple Blossoms Filled The Entire Sky

Wen Changchu put away the sword and expressed his admiration, “The twists and turns of the Immortal Realm people are quite a lot.”

Lou Muge had no time to pay attention to this. He knew that a bunch of people would arrive shortly after, and he had to find his sword quickly so that he could escape from the Immortal Realm.

The Yin Peak wasn’t vast, but it was high and the mountain trails were steep. They could see dusty weapons every hundred steps or so, and their original shapes were no longer visible.

Lou Muge walked to a place, and his eyes darkened. When he saw a sword and felt like it was his sword, he started to touch it, but only mud filled his hand. He couldn’t even pull it out despite exerting all his strength.

He clapped his hands in pain and said, “My mistake…”

“Don’t you know where you put your own sword?” Wen Changchu watched nearby and also couldn’t help being a little anxious. “The sword has a spiritual sense, you should resonate with it.”

This hasn’t occurred to Lou Muge, all because he was worried that some people in the Immortal Realm would sense his familiar aura. However, Zhang Rong, who beat the gong, has already announced his appearance, so there was no need to hide.

He closed his eyes, and mobilized the power originally sealed in his body. He spread it to the entire mountain, and then a subtle contention from somewhere on the mountain responded, as if his sword was calling him.

Wen Changchu felt his power. He took a deep breath, suppressed the urge to turn into a wolf, and sighed. “It’s been a long time…”

Lou Muge didn’t hear it. He frowned and opened his eyes, looking in that direction. “It’s at the top of the mountain.”

Wen Changchu turned his head, saw someone rushing towards them, and said to Lou Muge, “It’s too late.”

He transformed into a huge gray wolf, with his limbs bent, and said to him, “Sit up.”

Lou Muge knew that he might not be able to reach the top of the mountain on his own feet, so he grabbed the wolf’s back, and as soon as he sat firmly, Wen Changchu rushed out and flexibly jumped on the steep mountain trails, all the way up, straight to the summit of the mountain.

Ze Chen along with several Immortal Lords with a large group of immortal soldiers have arrived in their wake at the foot of the mountain peak.

She glanced up with her hand over her eyes and spotted the gray-furred beast bouncing about. Her eyes radiated with displeasure, and she expressed her doubts, “Where did such a big rat come from?”

“That’s not a rat…” Someone next to her heard her, and replied in a low voice, “He seems to be the youngest son of the Demon King, Wen Qingmian.”

“Yo.” Ze Chen sneered, “Wen Qingmian, a crimson wolf, actually managed to sire this gray pup? His wife’s bed is not tightly guarded, is it?”

The few people around her restrained their laughter after hearing this, but no one dared to answer. One only said, “God King, what should we do with this? If we hurt this wolf cub, I’m afraid the demon will come to our door. Rumors have it that he loves this little boy the most.”

“What are you afraid of? If you break one or two of his legs, they will grow back soon.” Ze Chen was devoid of those concerns. She breathed a sigh of relief and shouted to the top, “That little rat up there, if you don’t come down I’ll go up and crush your legs!”

Her shout wasn’t overly loud, but it was pushed far away by divine power, and it reached Lou Muge’s ears. He tugged at the wolf’s fur and said, “Oh no! That crazy woman, Ze Chen, is here!”

Wen Changchu howled in response. When his voice reached, Ze Chen looked confused and asked the people around her, “What did he say?”

“He said,” the man looked at Ze Chen’s face and said honestly, “Awooo—”

Ze Chen’s face instantly bristled with disgust. When did such a fool exist in the Immortal Realm?

She tapped her toes gently, and her body floated up into the air.

Wen Changchu headed straight to the top of the mountain. There was a lot of mist around, and he couldn’t see anything clearly. Lou Muge slipped off his back and once again sensed where the sword was.

This time, luck was on his side. The sword’s contention was right beside him. He waved the white mist in the air and followed the sound to find it. He saw a sword that was deep in the ground next to a stone with its hilt exposed.

The hilt of the sword was covered with sand, which hardened once dried. He couldn’t hold it with one hand, so he could only grasp it with both hands.

As soon as he touched the hilt of the sword, the sound of the sword’s contention reverberated louder and louder, passing through his fingertips in waves, as if it couldn’t wait to break out of the ground.

Lou Muge said, “Wait, I’ll let you see the light of day again now.”

He took a deep breath and drew it up with all his strength!

    It didn’t budge an inch.

“Huh?” Lou Muge scratched his head. “How could this be?”

“The sword is sealed. Infuse your power into it,” Wen Changchu reminded him on the side.

Lou Muge rubbed his fists, and white light, which was a completely different power from a water demon, glowed in his palms. He gripped the hilt of the sword with both hands, and the power slowly poured into it through the mud and sand. It was like throwing a stone in a calm lake, sending ripples through the layers.

The next moment, the white light burst out violently without warning, and an oppressive force gushed out. The debris on the sword cracked inch by inch, and scattered with the blowing wind. The buried vermilion jade handle was soon exposed, glowing bright and moist.

With sudden winds blowing from all directions, the white fog was instantly dispersed, revealing the desolation and barrenness of Yin Peak.

Lou Muge held the hilt in both hands, and when he lifted it up a little, cracks appeared around the blade, as if desperately trying to retain this dusty sword that has been there for 800 years.

However, he still easily drew the sword out, almost effortlessly. The blade was clean and sharp, glowing with a bloody cold glint. The moment it escaped from the dust, a beam of light shot straight into the sky. The perennial clouds above Yin Peak were instantly cleared away, and the crowd finally saw the two figures standing at the top of the mountain.

The jade handle, as if dipped in blood, emitted a blinding light, and as if to welcome its old master, it enveloped Lou Muge. Wen Changchu, who was standing nearby, was also affected by this power, and he retreated a number of steps.

A moment after the power gushed out, bells rang in the four corners of the Immortal Realm at the same time.

The ringing of these four bells meant that Lou Muge was in the Immortal Realm.

Almost at the same time, the Immortal Soldiers marched in full force, blocking all exits.

Ze Chen, who was floating in the air, finally smelled a familiar aura. A smile appeared at the corner of her mouth, and an aura of wickedness stained her beautiful face. She floated up to the sky and looked down at the person wrapped in light on the top of the mountain, her eyes flashing with excitement. “Lou Muge, I’ve been waiting for you for ages.”

A pair of brocade boots with gold threads were the first to appear amidst the red and white lights, followed by a lower hem embroidered with cloud patterns, a jade inlaid belt, a gold thread neckline, and a white neck. A man in a golden robe stepped out of it. His fluttering long hair was bound in red silk, his eyebrows and eyes as black as ink, and his skin white, making his lips moist as a crabapple.

Seemingly smiling when furious, all seeing and sentient, impeccably outstanding and of unrivaled beauty, in high and vigorous spirits.

He was the Devil Venerable who dominated the Six Realms and disturbed the Immortal Realm.

With the jade sword handle in hand, he kicked his golden robes and took a few languid steps splendidly. He walked to the top of the mountain, tilted his head up a bit, and smiled at Ze Chen. “Long time no see.”

“I’m truly delighted to see you again.” Ze Chen said with a smile, “But we haven’t settled our score yet.”

Lou Muge couldn’t help laughing when he heard this. He shook his head and said, “Not today.”

Ze Chen was used to seeing him like this, and knew that he was best at playing shameless tricks, so she didn’t waste time talking nonsense. She spread both her hands, and a huge pair of fire-colored wings spread behind her. Soon, a fire circle took shape with a twist of her wrist. “It’s not up to you, the debtor, to decide which day I want to collect.”
